I called Ema together with his brother Valerio and his unexpected Lena who happens to be Claire's cousin and the daughter of the Alpha of the Goldens Pack. At first, she was intimidated by alpha presence but I told her that there is no need to be tensed around me and so she completely relaxed. Valerio was there accompanying Lena while Ema on the other hand just comforted Claire wholeheartedly. I can feel the devastation and grief erupting from Claire. I told Leo and some trackers from my pack to locate George's whereabouts. Lena also told his father that George was kidnapped and they are now working hand in hand on finding him and hunting Angelica and her men down.

If they find her, I will seriously rip her head off but right now my mate needs me.

We are now in the living room and I was about to approach Claire when suddenly she spoke.

"Please.. I want dad back here safe and sound..." Claire sobs silently and my wolf suddenly whines painfully.

"That bitch. She has gone too far." Ema stands up, "I'm going to Leo and help him."

"It's too dangerous." Valerio tries stopping her, "and I know Leo wouldn't let his mate participate."

"Still---"

"Claire needs you too." I cut her off and she faces me, "I'm going to him so you guys just stay here and keep a lookout. We don't know that some of Angelica's men are going to ambush here and I also need to go with my pack members. I know I can rest her safety to you."

"N-no, Lawrence..." Claire grabs my hand and my eyes soften, "don't leave.."

"I'll be back." I hug her gently and kiss her on the lips, "I promise.."

Exiting through the main door, Valerio and Lena stopped me.

"How come they can't be sensed easily?" I know Lena is talking about the men

"They may be rogues that can mask their wolf aura but I know that they also have flaws." I answer then proceed on going to my car

I'll make sure I'll save Claire's father and kill that bitch.

I am now standing on the street where George was taken. Looking around, I try hard on finding some flaws or any clues related to the kidnapping. My pack trackers and some fighters are dressed in casual clothes while looking around the place. It's already deserted in this spot so there are about two or three civilians here who are unaware of the situation.

"Have you found anything?" I ask Leo who is scratching the back of his neck

"Nothing. I also tried tracing Angelica's phone but somehow it failed. She must have disposed of it. She's one smart-ass bitch."

"That woman. She's hurting my mate and my mate's father. I can't simply become settled with this. We need to find them in every perimeter, STAT!" I'm on the verge of insanity. My voice has boomed throughout my pack members' ears.

The wolves from Lena's pack were already on the go. They are also searching through every perimeter. There is a possibility that George is held captive away from this place—somewhere isolated where no human being can enter.

"Search the outskirts of this city." I ordered my pack trackers and fighters, "mind-link me if there are traces."

"Yes, alpha." And so they are off with their motorcycles and cars

"Can we really find them?" Leo growls

"Yes. I won't rest until I found them."

For Claire, I'd do everything.

"ALPHA!" Leo immediately yells out and I completely froze

"LEO!" Ema immediately screams Leo's name and all of us quickly face her. She was now crying loudly as if she was in pain.

"Something must have happened to Leo!" Valerio grits his teeth

Oh no..

What's going on?!

I hope Lawrence is all right. I hope everyone is all right.

I quickly pick up the note that Angelica gave me. Before I picked it up, I dived in to the garbage can.

If only.. If only there was some clue..

"Damn it! Where are they?!" I feel so useless.

But then again..

"Lena.." My eyes widen as I call her

"Claire, what is it?"

"C-can you track this?"

"A note?"

"I received it from Angelica. Surely there must be something on it that can help."

"I have to call Lawrence—"

"NO!" I need to settle this once and for all. I can't let them know.

I can't let them get hurt. I need to talk to Angelica.

"Trust me on this."

"How come Lawrence didn't notice this?"

"Look, he was too caught up in my agitation. I forgot to tell him. Well, I was depressed earlier but right now there is not time for that. I don't want the others to be caught up with this mess."

"Lawrence will get mad at you! It's too dangerous!"

"Then help me!"

Lena gets taken aback.

"Fine but Valerio and Ema must come."

"Okay. Please, don't let Lawrence know. I know I'm being stupid but I can't help it."

I must do this.
