What's the matter with this bitch? She asked Claire's father out and now they are completely dating? How did they even meet? This is not good. If Claire finds out that I must have had some kind of past with Angelica then I'm screwed. Claire is still fifteen years old and she doesn't really understand these kinds of things—adult.

"Oh, you have called? This is pretty rare, alpha."

"What are you trying to pull here?" I growl at Angelica who is now standing in front of my office desk with a skimpy dress that she thinks she finds herself attractive on it.

"Besides knowing that your mate is actually a human and that I'm planning to sabotage her by simply dating her father." Angelica smirks wickedly yet seductively at me like I care.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW SHE'S MY MATE?!" I tackle at her with brute force and pinning her on the floor with a strong impact. My left hand is already strangling her but I just minimized my strength not because I don't want her to die but because I want some answers.

"I.. I.. I-I sent some wolves.." She tries removing my hand but to no avail.

"And why would you do that?!" She's crazy. I want to kill her right now.

Angelica starts to cry hysterically, "I-I still love you! Please come back to me, baby!"

I release her from my grip and she begins to gasp for air.

"You are never to engage with Claire's father, Claire, and me ever again."

Angelica was still crying but it shows that she still has a motivation to speak up again, "let's make a deal, Lawrence.."

"What?"

"I'll stop pestering with their lives. I'll stay away from them but on one condition." Angelica smirks at me. The nerve.

"Spit it out."

"Let's go on a date together tomorrow. In that way, I can finally have closure with you cos it seems that you don't really love me anymore and if we do get back together, you'd abuse me."

I just glare at her and she extends her hand a little bit weakly.

"So you're telling me that your father is dating a bitch?"

"Yes and I really hate how she treats me and to top it all of that—she even mentioned that I stole someone from her."

"Do you think this has something to do with Lawrence?"

"There is a big possibility that it might be."

We are now waiting for the detention time to end. We have been here for like 20 minutes or so. The teacher in charge of guarding us is Mr. Fero. Though, he kind of slacks off during detention. He is also currently sleeping right now with a newspaper covering his face. The other students have sneaked their way out but somehow Ema and I just stayed because we wanted to discuss further about how Angelica is bitchy and all.

"I also invited a cousin of mine to come. Her name is Lena. She knows how to break things off with partners because three years ago, she experienced a major heartbreak. Ever since then, she never believed in love and decided to be hired or favored for any intentional break-up plans. Is she somewhat cool or what?"

"She is by how you interpret about her." Ema chuckles, "I wonder how our mates are doing."

"And I wonder if Lena has arrived. She told me that she will arrive this afternoon but she hasn't texted me."

"I also contacted my brother to come pick me up. He got a little overprotective when I told her that I am mates with Leo. He's the kind of brother who listens to me and keeps secrets."

Wow, it's cool having a big brother like that but sometimes they only exist on fictions.

Seconds later, my eyes widen when I saw Lena entering the classroom. Her brunette hair was raised in a messy yet attractive bun. Her eyes located mine as she waves at me.

"We need to go. Stat." Lena grins at me.

"You even came here?" I pick up my bag and so did Ema.

"A guy has been following me around." Lena gives me a pissed off face

"Who?" Ema and I look at each other

A few moments later, Valerio came crashing in. His eyes never left Lena's.

"Oh, Valerio. It's nice to meet you again." I call out to Valerio and he warily snaps his head at me with a flustered smile.

"That guy." Lena steps back, "we need to go."

"A-are you kidding me?" I whisper back, "she's my cousin!"

"She's not just human, Claire."

"Nevermind. We will be off." Valerio grabs Ema by the hand

Lena and Valerio stare at each other then seconds later, avert their attention away. Lena looks at me with a little bit of painful expression.
