"Haha, let's go to Chemistry." I dismiss what she just said to me but it got her fuming with annoyance, "Ema?"

"A-aren't you a bit scared?" She asks and I just froze in my spot, "that I'm actually a vampire?"

"What are you talking about? Supernatural beings don't exist." I just laugh it all out and she was just being all serious about it, "okay, seriously?"

In a flash, Ema was already standing behind me. I suddenly jump due to reflexes of being frightened with her incredible speed. I just stare at her in.. Fascination, I guess. She just sighs and rubs her temples with her index fingers.

"See?" She looks at me waiting for my answer, "I-I never actually told anyone this yet but there is some magnetic pull that I want to tell you this. You're my only friend here, Claire, and I don't want to deprive our friendship just because I kept this a secret that will possibly prolong for so many years."

I just gulp and look down to the floor. Why am I dealing these kinds of things?

"Claire.." I hear the fright in her voice as if she regretted telling me her secret that she is a.. Erm, vampire.

"Okay.. I believe you but I'm worried if the others will find out." That's it. I admitted it.

Having a friend with supernatural powers or having a friend who is a supernatural being is exciting I must say. Some would freak out but in reality- they will be stunned and interested.

"That's okay." Ema smiles at me and I smile back, "I don't care about them."

"Hahaha." I just laugh at how serious Ema sounds

"Oh and.. About that man we encountered yesterday.." Ema speaks again and my smile turns to a frown

"What?"

"Erm.. It's better if you are the one knowing it before I tell you." She turns around and walks away

"Hey! Wait up!" Geez!

What about Lawrence anyway?

"I'm sorry, Alpha, but she insisted." Leo grunts in irritation while scratching the back of his neck, "she just won't stop."

"Tell her that I'm fucking busy." I demand him and he quickly goes out from my office

What is with that woman's head?!

"Angelica!" I hear Leo calling out to that devil as she comes sprinting in my office

I look at her with malice but her look was completely different from mine. She instantly pushes my swivel chair out from my desk and lands on my lap so she was now facing me while hugging me at the same time.

"Angelica." I growl at her foul act, "get away from me."

"Don't you miss me, hon?" She purrs and I roll my eyes as I push her away from me. She fell on the floor but didn't even let out a groan or grunt. She just stands up and proceeds on taunting me- obviously it failed as I was just skimming through my paperworks.

"This is how you treat me?" I can hear the annoyance in her voice, "your future Luna?!"

"We already know you're not the Luna. Besides, I've already found my mate." I didn't bother to look at her, "and you're not her. You may be the daughter of the Alpha of the Bridgecran Pack but I couldn't care less."

"A m-mate?" She was being hysterical again, "but I'm your mate! That freaking moongoddess is absolutely false! Uh! We were destined to one another!"

"I apologize."

"That's it. I'm going!" I hear her footsteps becoming more aggressive as she exits from my office. Leo chuckles afterwards.

"That was hilarious. If she were my mate, I would have rejected her already." Leo whistles and I just engrossed myself with the work, "Boss, you need a time out. Garnering work stress from human work is crucial to your wolf."

"No need." I sternly reply, "you can go now."

"If I were Claire, I would make you stop working for a day or two." Leo says and I raise my head to face him, "woaw chill."

"I.. Don't know." I just don't know, "there is this vampire with her."

"Vampire? That's new." Leo says, "but I believe that the vampire you're referring to is harmless."

"What makes you say that?" I grit my teeth

"Okay okay. I don't know." Leo raises his hands in surrender, "but I can spy that vampire for you."

I thought about it for a second.

"But don't let Claire know." I answered
