"C-Claire, I should get going. My parents are going to kill me if I don't go now." Ema sighs and I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't understand you. Why did you react when you saw him? Or wait.. Are you two past lovers?!" I was literally shouting then Ema quickly covers my mouth

"STUPID! Of course we aren't! He is a werewo—Erm, he is already like in his mid-20's and we are just freaking teenagers!" Ema nervously chuckles, "anyway, see you tomorrow!"

"Okay, you too." I told her and she walks away after that. I watch her as she crosses the road

Seconds later, I saw a car parked a feet away on the sides of the road. I got the feeling that it was Lawrence's car. I didn't even budge and turn. I just looked straight and ignored the vehicle.

"Claire." I hear his voice calling out to me and I just ignored him, "Claire! Don't ignore me!"

He is way too rude and dominant.

"Claire.." Okay, I believe I heard a slight pleading on that one.

I sigh in defeat and turn my body to face him. I cross my arms and wait for him to come out from the car. How did he know where I am learning anyway? Did he get it from my father's bio status?

His hair is combed neatly and he was wearing some dark office suit that matched his ash eyes. This is the second time that I have seen all handsome and hot. Okay, scratch that.

He is already in front of me, looking down on me because I am merely 5'4 and his height is like 6'0? I feel puny in his existence.

"What?" I grit my teeth. I was offended on how he actually treated my friend as if she was some parasite or outcast.

"I'll take you home." He says it like he is demanding me, "get in the car."

"I rather stay here. You still have work. My dad would freak out when he sees you talking to me." I told him and he scratches the back of his neck, "get going."

"Get in the car." Now he said that with authority, "NOW."

"You are not the boss of me." I put my left hand on my hip while intimidating him with my eyes

"Claire." I think I just heard a growl

"No." I insisted

"Do you want your father to get fired?" He hits a core and I gulp, "I can do that in just one blink of an eye."

"Y-you wouldn't." I stutter

"I will if you would just heed me."

He is a monster.

"I want to ask why you are here again." I told him and he just sighed, "come on."

"I.. Just want to see you." Was all he said and I raised an eyebrow

"That's it?" It sounded like a 'duh'.

"Alright, just get in the car. I'll take you home. I already your address because of your father." He turns to his back, "come."

"You might be a kidnapper." I told him with a sloppy smirk, "I can't come with you."

"CLAIRE!"

"Geez! Alright!"

The inside of his car is actually black leather and I have a strong sense of smell and I can smell the overwhelming aroma of it. I uncomfortably shift in my seat while looking outside the window. If only this could open.

"Here." Lawrence pushes a button and the window glass beside me was pulled down

"T-thanks." How did he know?

"I want to know more about you." He unexpectedly tells me and my eyes dilated

"Are you insane.." I was still looking outside the window, feeling the fresh air as blur figures passed by how the car is moving.

"No." He replies and I chuckle, "what?"

"You're way too serious. Is that what you always are in your workplace?" I turn my head to look at him who was still fixated on the road

"Of course." He smirks, "but everything changed."

"What do you mean?" I ask him again

"Everything changed when I met you yesterday." He looks at me with passion and my breathing hitched, "Claire."

I feel the car stop as he hit the brakes. I was still staring at him in awe.

"Will you be mi—"

"Thanks for everything!" I quickly open the door and slam it shut after exiting. I quickly made my way to the front door.

"CLAIRE! COME BACK HERE!" I hear him shout but I just ignored him.

I close the door behind me and slide my way through the bottom. I cover my face with both of my hands. My bag is a mess beside me.

Why am I feeling this way?
