《Mi Reina》Chapter Fifty Nine - Complete

I was woken up by the feeling of something soft and light, brushing against my cheekbone for a moment, then my forehead, and nose, and pretty much every part of my face.
Along with it, I felt a something wet on my cheek and just by the slight giggling I could hear, I knew that it had to be my little jellybean kissing me.
My eyes fluttered open and in front of me, I saw Rico and Nico leaning on either side of the bed, a grin plastered onto both of their faces.
Like father, like son.
"Good Morning, Momma!" Nico jumped next to me, still in his cute llama pajamas from last night; I love it when my alarm clock wears cute pajamas and smiles at me when I wake up.
"Morning, my cute little llama." I mumbled, giving him a peck on the cheek.
"Gotta pee, gotta pee, gotta pee." Was all he replied back, making me chuckle. The little boy ran towards the washroom, repeating the words until he entered the washroom and closed the door behind him.
"Well, now that he's not here..." Rico hovered closer to me and placed feathery kisses all over me. The feeling of his stubble on my soft skin grew a tingly, electrifying feeling all over my body as I wanted, craved for his touch.
From my cheek, to my jaw, and as he slightly pulled down the turtleneck of the sweater I was wearing. He continued assaulting my neck with kisses until I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him away from me.
Already missing the warmth of his touch, I wound my legs around his bare torso, and looked right into his dark brown orbs that shone with love and passion.
This man walked into my heart like he always belonged there, took down my walls down and lit my soul on fire but the thing is, I didn't mind. As long as I was with him and Nico, my life would always be filled with love and happiness.
I didn't want to stop the feeling that he was giving; the feeling that I could experience only with his touch. But, I couldn't let him continue when Nico was only a few metres away from us.
"I love you. But, Nico could see us if we conti-" Rico placed his warm lips on mine, keeping me from saying anything further.
My body responded to his touch by kissing him back. My hands traveled up to his hair, fingers slightly tugging at the ends of his hair. In that kiss was the sweetness of passion; a million loving thoughts combined into one moment.
I pulled him closer to me by pushing him down with the help of my legs that were on his torso. His manly cologne intoxicated my senses which gave me a feeling of safety when I was in his arms.
"Momma, I'm here!" As soon as I heard Nico's voice, I pulled away from the kiss and pushed Rico to my side, on the bed, of course. But to my dismay, I knew that I wasn't as fast as I thought when Nico spoke further.
"Dadda, why were you eating my Momma?"
Rico chocked on his spit as his son questioned what he had been doing not more than a minute ago. "I...uh...I wasn't...eating her. I was just...trying to make her feel better by hugging her."
I chortled at his discomfort and let's not forget the horrible lie he told the little boy.

"Feel better?" The little boy questioned. "Is Momma sad?"
"No, baby. I'm fine now." I said, going along with Rico's lie. Nico jumped up on the bed as I finished my sentence and came closer to me.
"Don't be sad, Momma." Nico played with the strands of my hair, pushing it behind my ear with his tiny hands. "Do you know what will happen if you become sad?"
I furrowed my eyebrows wondering what he could have meant but before I could answer him, he exclaimed, "The tickle monster attacks!"
He tried ticking me but because his hands were smaller than mine, I didn't tickled much but I sure did act like it just so that I could a smile or even a laugh from Nico.
"Oh, really? I think they attack boys who have been naughty too." I side glanced at Rico and I'm sure Nico understood what I had meant.
The two of teamed up together and while I tickled Rico, Nico decided to bite him. I couldn't stop laughing at Rico's reaction to our sudden attack. The three of us were having so much fun together that we didn't even realize that someone had entered the room.
"What did I just walk into?" I heard Toni ask.
Turning to him, I stopped tickling Rico and smiled, "We're annoying the hell out of your brother, wanna help?"
"When I have I ever turned down that offer?" A smirk appeared onto his face.
But Rico had other plans. As soon as his brother came closer, he moved his leg from the edge of the bed straight to his brother's leg which caused Toni to take a few steps behind.
Nico stopped annoying his father and instead looked up to his uncle, waiting to be carried up like Toni always did.
"Estúpido ." He mumbled rubbing his shin through the sweatpants he had been wearing along with a black t-shirt.
"We came here because we have a surprise for both of you." Toni stated. I was curious as to what surprise I was going to get and I expected Rico to feel the same way but something about his facial expression seemed excited; almost like he knew what the surprise was.
"Yeah, we." Callum entered the room too. "Julian, Isla, Toni and I."
"Oh. Alright then." Rico sat up while Toni scooped up Nico into his arms walked out of the room. A giggle erupted from the little boy, enjoying the Toni's company. I mean, who wouldn't?
"Hey, Xi!" Callum greeted, now coming closer to the bed. "How are you?"
"I'm doing better than ever, Mr. Dweeb." I replied, trying not to laugh because of his reaction at my nickname. "How are you doing?"
"I'm fine, but I'd be happier if you were in my arm-" He shut himself up after receiving a death glare from Rico, who looked like he was ready to kill someone.
"You wanna say that again so I get some time to think of where exactly I should shoot you?" Rico asked, clearly kidding...I think.
"Don't worry, big guy. I'm not here to steal your girl...for now." He stopped himself once again when Rico titled his head to the side in annoyance. "Okay, okay. I'm going."
Callum scurried out of the room without a second thought. Rico stood up and placed his palms on either side of my face, and kissed the crown of my head. "Get ready soon and come downstairs. We'll wait for you."

"Alright." I smiled and walked out of his room and into mine. Once I entered the bathroom, I glanced at myself in the mirror and it was only then that I realized that I hadn't brushed my teeth yet. Oh, no. We kissed each other!
Now, that is a whole new level of embarrassment right there. Welp...
Quickly, I took a shower and wrapped myself in a towel while I walked to my the closet in my room. Knowing that everyone would be downstairs, I decided that I needed to look decent at least.
I tied my hair into a messy bun after wearing a plain black t-shirt paired with white jean shorts. Descending down the stairs, I saw that everyone had been sitting on the couches in the living room, eating chips while they waited for me to come.
Rico's and Antonio's parents sat together along with Nico between them while Rico, Toni and Callum sat on one couch. I greeted Julian and Isla with a hug and took a seat in the single-seater couch because it had been the only empty space remaining.
"So..." I grinned, waiting for my surprise.
"You remember how your apartment had been destroyed a few months ago when all of this drama started?" Toni asked.
"Of course, I do." I shuddered at the horrific memory.
"Well, it's refurnished now and given an upgrade." He continued.
No. Way.
"No, you didn't." I mumbled, completely shocked and happy at the same time.
"Yes, I did. Also, I might have done the same thing to your bakery."
I blinked my eyes in disbelief, not knowing what to say at the news I had been given.
"Why? What did I even do to deserve this?" I asked, trying to suppress the happy tears that threatened to fall down my cheeks. I walked Nio and hugged him tight, not being able to tell him how thankful I was.
"You completed this family, Xia." Isla spoke. "You're the Donna of the Mexican mafia now. You are going to be treated just like the queen that you are."
I walked over to her, enveloping her in my arms as she stood on her feet too. Turning to Julian, hugged him in a way of saying thank you to both of them. He reciprocated my gesture and pulled away after a while.
"Thank you so much!" I appreciated. "Both of you."
"Don't thank us just yet." He smiled. "There's another gift."
He pointed to the main door of the house and just as I glanced in that direction, I saw them; I saw Damon, my annoying older brother in a suit, Ava who was his wife, dressed up in a oversize t-shirt dress with Livia, their two-year-old daughter in her arms.
It didn't take me more than a minute to sprint across the room and jump into Damon's arms. He chuckled at my reaction and hugged me back. Although we tease each other like hell, I missed him, more than I would ever admit.
"Oooo, someone missed their brother." He teased, to which I narrowed my eyes at him.
"You're really making me want to whoop your butt, Short Stuff." I said, making sure not to say 'ass' when there were children present in the room.
"I missed you, Toots." Damon smiled, running a hand through his jet black hair. He walked further into the house, probably so that he could greet everybody else.
Now drawing my attention to Ava, I gave her that weird smile that I always did. The one that every best friend gave to the other at times.
"I haven't seen in such a long time, Aves." I squealed, making sure not to hug her too tightly because Livia was in her arms.
"Me too. I missed the days that we used to annoy Damon together." She grinned, thinking of the memory from a few years ago.
"Who says we can't do it now?" A devilish smile appeared across her face as I finished speaking.
"Now, that's the Xia I know and love." She was one of the closest people whom I could lean on. She'd always been there for me, even at the time of my breakup with Devon.
Speaking of Devon, where is he? Meh...
"And who is this cute little human?" I cooed, now holding Olivia in my arms. She looked exactly like Ava; the pale complexion, the big eyes, the smile. The only thing that she inherited from Damon was the color of her eyes, blue.
"I'm fwine!" She exclaimed, kissing my cheek. "I vuv you, Thea."
I giggled at the way she tried to say my name and how it would sound different every single time. She has called me Lia, Thea, Nia...basically everything that sounds similar to my name.
I felt a small hand on my leg and almost immediately looked down. There Nico stood, looking up at me in awe. His attention drew towards Livia who was failing her arms around in happiness.
Nico furrowed his eyebrows a little, wondering who she was. I bent down and placed Livia right next to Nico. She was shorter than him due to their difference in ages but that didn't stop him from looking at her with curiosity.
"Ava, this is Nicolas, my son. And Nico, this is Ava, Momma's friend." I was pretty sure that he would not be able to understand who a sister-in-law was, so I just said friend.
"It's nice to meet you, Nicolas." She beamed.
After a while, Devon came in, and sat next to me on the carpeted floor where all of us had been sitting together, catching up with each other.
"I know that what I did was wrong and I'm really sorry for it. I though that it was the best decision at the time and I didn't mean to break your heart."
"Hey, hey. We're good, now." I smiled, taking a sip of the soft drink in my glass. "I've already forgiven you."
He thanked me and happened to smile at something happening behind me. Once I turned around, I was met with the sight of Nico and Livia playing with each other by running around the house. A giggle escaped from each of them as they ran faster.
They looked so adorable together, playing like there was no tomorrow. I looked around the room, knowing that every every single person in it has a special place in my heart. I couldn't be happier with everything that I was blessed with. The love, the happiness, the bond that we shared.
My eyes laid on the love of my life, Rico. I'm not sure what I would have done with my life if I hadn't met him. He doesn't make me feel complete, he completes me. He sent a wink my way and now, I was sure that my had turned crimson red by his action.

Rebirth
Rebirth, the process of being reborn. Why does it happen and who really qualifies. We will seek to look into the these questions by following the life of Richard as we experiences this process first hand. We will follow his life and his fight against the evil blue boxes and what comes with all of them. ------------------------------- Update 04-24-18 Just ran a spelling and grammar check on the existing chapters and corrected a lot of little issues. ------------------------------- Just so you know, do not expect detailed sex scenes, or a lot of gore and such. Profanity is probably a given, I added the tag today....I mean you've seen how the Blue Box God talks....I'm shocked our MC has keep his cool so far. Also just FYI, I've got the entire per chapter outline complete for what will end up being book 1. That being said I've discovered over the years that a good outline lasts until you begin to wrote the chapter out. What that means is that even with a good outline because I tend to rethink thing out 4 or 5 times while I write them that it can hold up a chapter from being released. I'd rather hold up a story to make it flow better than rush something out. So while you might see at times a very aggressive release rate, at times you might wonder what happened to me because I've stopped posting. The reason being that after I wrote the chapter I decided it either sucked, didn't flow right or I just decided the direction things were headed no longer seemed right. So I'll stop, review and decide if I need to rewite all of the outlines to changes things up and then rewrite the chapter, or possibly go back and make changes to older chapters if needed. By the way, if I ever decide something needs to change, I will let you know which chapters changed and I'll give you a quick outline of the changes so you can skip the reread if you want. Yes a lot of this story will be told from the third person prespective, though we will listen to Richard tell his story. Expect a lof of behind the scene components. I've never published here before so expect it to take me a try or 2 to get an understanding of the formatting and such. Also I do not post a schedule. Sorry but real life always comes first but I will try and get things steddy.
