I really had fun seeing my sister today it brought back old memories, she always knows how to get me on the right track.

I open the door to find Emma running down the stairs towards me before pulling me into her embrace.

"I hope you are not irate with me ?" she asks withdrawing from the embrace with pleading eyes and a pout on her lip.

"no, I know you only want the best for me," I say with a smile.

"I was worried you would be angry with me," she says with a smile" Sylvia was so worried so she asked me to tell her what was going on with you and the baby " she explains with a smile.

"I understand but right now I really need to rest my back, " I say walking towards the stairs.

I open the door to my room dropping my bag on the reading desk by the bed before checking through my closet for more relaxing clothes.

I decided to change into gray sweatpants and sweatshirts before entering the bathroom, I watch my face with water by the sink to moisturize my face before walking back into the room, pushing the curtains to one side letting the sun rays into the room before laying on the bed as silence envelopes me waiting to welcome sleep as a wide smile appears on my lip.

I turn on the bed for a few minutes before deciding to drink water so I made my way downstairs into the kitchen to meet silence.

"It seems no one is home yet" I mumble walking towards the fridge to get a jug of water.

I place the jug on the kitchen table before finding a notepad placed on the table catching my attention finding it to be a message from Emma "my parents sent for me and Damien but we will be back for dinner " I read before placing the notepad back on the table.

I fill an empty glass with water then gulp down the content satisfying my dry throat before checking through the fridge and cabinets for what I can use in preparing dinner.

I decided on preparing spaghetti with chicken and red sauce for dinner, Kate actually taught me my way in the kitchen which is coming useful to me now.

I busy myself preparing the meal after that I entered Chance room to take his dirty clothes, pushing the door open walking towards his lavatory, Chance always has a taste for the best never going for anything less not when he has billions under his name.

I pick up the basket of his dirty clothes close to the sink before leaving his room towards the laundry room.

After doing the laundry I kept myself busy doing some research work on my laptop, sitting cross-legged on the couch in the living room with my laptop placed comfortably on my lap and a book and pen placed on the center table in front of me.

After a few hours of writing down whatever is useful to me from the internet with boredom being in complete silence before hearing the door click open letting Chance walk into the living room looking weary and deprived of sleep.

I follow his every move with my eyes as he places himself on the couch opposite mine with a loud relaxing sigh.

"Um...good evening, " I say awkwardly staring at him quizzically.

Silence fell upon us almost blocking my lungs from receiving air " so how were your classes today?" I ask breaking the suffocating silence.

I laugh " mine was boring at the same time interesting, " I say with a smile.

"Yeah, always the neutralist," he says laughing lightly.

Seeing him laugh brought a smile to my face knowing I could still put a smile on his lips made me feel like I have accomplished something.

"you know I still love you, right?" I ask being overwhelmed with my feelings causing a commotion in my head.

I don't expect him to answer the question but I just needed to let him know my feelings remain the same even with how he keeps treating me.

We talk about our day while eating, after eating Emma volunteered to do the dishes saying I need some rest and I won't disagree because I get tired easily these days.

Picking the things I left in the living room I make my way towards my room.

I brush my teeth before deciding on taking a relaxing shower, after getting ready in pajamas I pull the window and curtains close before laying on the bed with a relaxing sigh.

I hope every day could be more beautiful than this, Sylvia was like a pull I need away from my depression, she made me speak to mum.

I am delighted that I could speak with mum, she was a bit angry with me for not calling and worst I lied to her.

" can you please take me to the hospital, " I say getting into Chance's car since he decided to bring me to school today which was a big surprise to me.

Driving into the parking lot of the hospital he parks the car and to my surprise, he too got out.

I stare at him in bewilderment" what are you doing? " I ask as he walks towards me taking my hand in his before leading me towards the entrance of the hospital.

"I am coming with you and besides you have no ride home if I were to leave you here," he says in a duh tone for a guy who never wanted anything to do with this baby, he is precisely full of surprises today.

"I could always take the bus," I say with a frown on my face.

We took our seats waiting in silence before my name was called.

We walk inside the office to find Dr. Anna writing something down" how are you doing miss Shiloh? " she asks with a smile.

"fine," I say taking a seat opposite hers while Chance takes a seat close to my eyes roaming around the room.

"Just feeling a little bigger around the middle of my belly, " I say touching my belly to make an emphasis.

" I kind of feel more thirsty and easily irritated and I also feel nauseous by just the sight of some food I normally would enjoy," I say synchronously.
