Julianna pov:

It's been three days since my parents came.

Two days since mine and Gio's date.

One day since we had Diablo.

But for some reason I feel like I'm forgetting something.

I'm tired but I should get up and make breakfast.

Why does the bed feel empty.

I hear tiny little paws running.

"Ew dog breath Diablo" I say as he licks my face making me open my eyes.

"Mama wake up!" Reina shouts.

"I'm up baby" I sigh and sit.

Next thing I see is everyone around me.

The vipers and some of Gio's men.

"Am I forgetting there is a meeting or something?" I ask.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" they all shout.

Holy shit my birthday!.

I forgot my own birthday.

"Did you forget mi amor?" Gio asks as he kisses me forehead.

"Uh yea" I chuckle.

"Figured, anyways we made you breakfast downstairs" Maeve says with a smile.

"Your old" Reggie sighs making me gasp.

"I'm only twenty three asssss- meany" I say changing my words because reina.

"Oh my god is that grey hair love?" Gio says joining in.

"NO!" I yell at him.

They all laugh.

"Alright get dressed then come and eat" Vi says taking reina and Elijah taking Diablo.

"See you downstairs" Gio says with a kiss.

Once he leaves I sigh and get up.

I put on a lace but not see through tank top.

Royal blue to make Gio crazy.

And some black leggings.

Along with some black vans.

My hair straight.

Ad no makeup.

I head downstairs to see everyone smiling and laughing.

This warms my heart.

Elijah and Maeve being all lovey.

Vi and Reggie getting closer and Leo and Cassidy laughing at reina and gio.

Reina put whip cream on Giovanni's face making him look like Santa.

He wipes his face on hers making her scream and laugh.

Diablo barks at Gio.

I walk up behind Gio and wrap my arms around him and kiss his cheek.

"Shouldn't this be the other way around" he whispers.

"Yes but I like this" I whisper back.

"You guys are like a cute little family" Maeve says in awe.

"Are you happy?" Reggie asks.

I look around at everyone "I am, I'm very happy".

"Are you guys?" I ask.

"We are" they say in sync.

"Eat up then we are going out" Elijah says handing me a plate.

"Out where?" I ask.

"Walk around the mall find some outfits for your birthday dinner" Leo says.

"I just know Kimberley would say something like 'god you guys are such sappy whipped puppies'." Cassidy says.

"She would , wouldn't she" I say with a soft smile.

"Oh that reminds me her funeral will be held here but next week on Thursday" I say.

"Have you heard from her parents?" Leo asks.

"No I tried getting in touch but nothing, I'll try to meet with them though" I say.

"Okay enough, she wouldn't want us sad on your birthday" Maeve says with a tear.

I nod.

Later.

I feel weird.

Like somethings off.

It's probably nothing I'm just paranoid.

We arrive at the mall and Reina is on Gio's shoulders.

Elijah and Maeve are next to me and others next to Gio.

I tap on gio shoulder to make him lean down.

"Babe, does it feel off?" I whisper to where he can hear.

"No why? You okay?" He asks.

"Yea no I'm fine probably nothing" I lie.

I feel like I'm being watched.

We walk in and go in and out of stores.

I decided to push away the bad feeling and have fun.

It's my birthday and I'm most likely just being paranoid.

"Mama look!" Reina says from Gio's shoulders as she points at a Jamba Juice.

"Want one my love?"gio asks.

"Lets go" I say with a smile

Me and reina get mango.

Gio gets banana.

Maeve and Elijah got strawberry.

The others literally got the same.

"Mama, Can dada take us to toy story?"Reina asks making us all stop in our tracks.

"W-what?" She says getting shy with everyone looking at her.

"I-is it because I called G-Gio dada?" She adds.

Gio looks at me with a is that an okay face.

"Is it okay that I call him that mama?" Reina asks.

"Oh little devil, Um I uh I mean I don't mind but that's up to gio if he wants to be called that" I say not really sure.

"Im fine with it" gio says.

"Are you sure? Is that to fast?" I ask kinda worried.

"No , no it's fine but that's if you let me step in as her dad" he says.

Now.

At the mall.

I nod "you treat her well already, I don't mind amore".

He leans down and kisses me.

"This was the cutest thing ever" Maeve says in tears.

"Your hormones?" I ask her and she nods.

"That's was so sweet" Cassidy says also in tears.

"You guys are such cry babies" I laugh.

Before anyone could say something I look behind Maeve and Elijah to see people in black watching us.

I hold tight on to gio and he gives me a weird look.

I look behind me and see him.

My fucking father.

Are you kidding.

"Elijah can you take Maeve to the bathroom to help her get freshen up" I say.

"What no it's just tears Jules" Maeve chuckles.

"I know but it's-".

And before I know it gun shots went off.

I pushed gio who had Reina in his arms.

I hear screams and people running.

I look at my father and he's gone.

I look to see if Maeve and the baby is okay.

"Maeve you okay?" I ask.

She nods but eyes went wide.

I look over at gio and Reina and see her crying.

I reach my hand out to soothe her but stop to see my hand covered in blood.

Then it hits me.

The agonizing pain.

I look down to my stomach and see I've been shot.

"G-Giovanni" I whisper out.

"SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" Maeve shouts.

I start seeing black spots and let my eyes close.

"Don't you dare Julianna , stay awake, for me , for your daughter" was the last thing I heard before I heard nothing.
