Giovanni pov:

We Rushed to the hospital right when the ambulance came.

So far we have no clue what's going on with Julianna and Kim. All we know is they both lost a lot of blood.

As of right now me, Elijah and Maeve are in the waiting room.

I'm pacing back and forth.

"Sit down man, there survivors" Elijah says trying to calm me down.

"Yea? What if Julianna doesn't make it? What am I suppose to tell her four year old daughter ? 'Oh I'm sorry reina but your mother is dead' no" I say Almost yelling.

"And what if Kim doesn't make it? The vipers will burn the world down that there boss and friend have died" I add on.

"Stop thinking like that, please" Maeve says with red puffy eyes

"I-I'm sorry Maeve" I say softly.

I'm not the only one scared.

"It's okay" she sighs and rubs her temple.

Before I or anyone else can say anything the vipers came rushing in the front hospital doors.

"There gone" Leo says panicked.

"Who's gone , what do you mean gone?" I say rushing over to them.

Before they can say anything a doctor comes out "Giovanni Valentine?".

"That's me" I say walking over.

"What are you exactly to both patients?" He asks.

Fuck "fiancé to Julianna and 2nd cousins to Kim".

Please believe it.

"Right well, I'm sorry for your loss" he says making my heart drop.

"The other girl will be awake at any moment and is fine" he says making me walk over to her room.

Julianna pov:

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Why does my body hurt so much.

I open my eyes to see blurry people in the room and rub them and see the vipers, Elijah and Giovanni.

"G-gio" I say with a dry voice.

He looks up and sighs as he grabs my hand and rubs it.

"Water" I say and sit up.

"Here" Maeve says.

"Thanks" I say and drink it all.

"How long have I been out?" I ask.

"Not long, about five hours six at the most" gio says.

I hum and look at everyone.

"Why you guys all sad for? I'm alive" I chuckle a little.

"We have a couple bad news, but we are waiting tell your more rested" Leo says.

"No tell me now" I say.

There's silence "well?"

Cassidy sighs and steps up "if you guys won't I will, she deserves to know now".

"K-Kim didn't make it" Maeve says and starts tearing up.

I gasp and start breathing heavy "n-no".

"She's dead?" I ask as tears start falling down.

"She's gone Jules" Cassidy says in tears.

As I start breathing heavy and look around I notice something "where's violet and reina?".

"That's the other thing" Red says.

I look at red like he's crazy "what do you mean OTHER THING".

"While we are at the ball, some how the Germans took violet and reina and left a note" gio says.

I'm full on crying.

I start getting up and take off the needles in me.

"What are you doing sit down" red says trying to push me back down.

"no, no, NO MOVE OUT OF MY WAY RAIDEN" I start yelling and pushing him out of my way.

Maeve and Elijah try to hold me down.

"GET OFF OF ME! LET ME GET MY DAUGHTER AND VIOLET! STOP LET GO" I yell as I'm crying and kicking them off of me.

"Calm down love" gio says trying to calm me but doesn't work.

"GET THE DOCTORS!" Cassidy yells.

"LET ME GO PLEASE!" I say just laying there crying as they hold me down gently ignoring the pain shooting through me from the surgery.

"It's okay love, we are going to get them back just rest first" Giovanni says as he moves there out of my face.

"No I can't rest knowing they have them" I cry into him.

"He said he won't hurt them" Maeve says as she looks at me with pity.

"How do you know" I say trying to calm down.

"They letter he left" Elijah says handing me it.

I open the letter .

Dear Julianna,

as you can see your precious daughter and friend are gone. their in my hands , I won't touch them. Or at least I won't if you don't come alone. Come alone once you find me and they won't get hurt. Just want a little chat.

I'm no longer crying but all I see now is red and want his blood on my hands.

"When can I be released?" I ask just as the doctors come in.

"You can be released in three days since your already healing well" the doctor says.

"When I'm out of here set up a flight back home and then set up a meeting" I say bluntly.

"Alright love" Giovanni says.

"What are you planning?" Maeve asks worried.

I look at her with a blank and deadly stare "to set up a plan that they won't see coming, take them down and get the girls back and I won't stop tell the Germans are dead".

"How are you going to do that?" Leo asks.

"You'll see" I say laying back down.

"Alright everyone you can leave and come back tomorrow, Maeve and Elijah can stay" gio says.

They all say good bye to me and that they will come back tomorrow.

But honestly I don't care, I just want get out of here.

Make a plan.

Find him.

Attack.

And get my friend and daughter.

Whatever it fucking takes.
