《My Brother's Best Friend》Chapter 62

"Mom! Mom it's here!" I shouted. I ran through my entire house in socks and boxers as I looked for my mom in every room. "Mom!"
"In Amanda's room!" She shouted.
I ran back upstairs and gasped for air as I reached Amanda's room and saw her folding clothes on her bed.
"What did you say?" She furrows her eyebrows.
"It's here! The letter is here!" In my hands I was holding my future. This moment is what makes or breaks the next year for me.
"Jax, go put pants on." I begin to tune her out.
As much as I wanted Emma to come with me I couldn't force her to leave her family. If I got accepted I'd have to leave and when I finish college I'd be marrying the girl I fell in love with.
"It's a big envelope, you know what that means?" She asks.
I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "That it's a huge rejection letter?"
She gives me a stern look. "There's more of a chance you got in."
"I'm going to open it." I stare at it. "Wait, should I wait?"
"Wait for what?" She asks. "Open it!"
"I'm shitting bricks right now."
"Language." She glares. "If you won't open it I will."
"Okay, okay I'm going." I begin ripping the envelope apart slowly and then all at once papers were in my hands.
"Well, what does it say?" She asks.

"Hunter, where's my charger?!" I yelled from my room as I frantically looked under my bed.
"My room!" He yells back.
I groan and get up, making me way to his room. Opening the door, I see him laying on the bed charging his phone.
"Stop taking my shit." I plug my phone in and just as I was about to sit down on the floor the door bell rings.
"It's probably Marissa she said she was on her way." Hunter says.
I get up from the floor and make my way downstairs to the front door. Opening it I'm surprised to see Jax standing there in the pouring rain soaked from head to toe.

"Oh, my God, Jax. What are you doing here?" I let him in as he shivers from his wet clothes against his body. "I didn't know you were coming."
"I couldn't wait to tell you." Jax takes off his shoes.
"Come, I'll get you Hunter's clothes so you can change." I walk up the stairs. "And tell me what?"
"It came." He tells me as he follows me upstairs.
I stop at the top of the stairs to see him looking at me with tear stained eyes.
"The letter?" I ask and he nods. "What did it say?"
"Maybe we should talk about this later." He says as Hunter appears.
"Hey, man." Hunter greets him. "I'll be back later I'm going to get Marissa from the bus stop and bring her an umbrella."
"Okay." I nod.
He moves past us and walks down stairs, grabbing an umbrella and putting on his coat. Walking out the door I wait for him to close it before I begin speaking.
"What did it say?" I ask.
"Let's go to your room." He says.
"No, I want to know." He stays quiet and looks away from me. "You got accepted didn't you?"
He only nods and I sit on the stairs. He follows my lead and I stay quiet. I felt joyful and happy that he got accepted to John Hopkins but at the same time it was a reminder he was really leaving.
Him getting his acceptance letter only made it more realistic he was moving away.
"It doesn't seem real." He speaks. "I was so happy before and now it all feels too...too soon."
"I'm really happy for you." I say, wiping away a tear that had fallen.
"You're crying." He reaches to wipe my eyes.
"I'm just happy you got accepted. I knew you would."
"This is really it huh?" He asks.
I chuckle, choking on my saliva. "We still have time."
"Graduation is in a month and after that we have two months." He tells me.

"I'll come visit you." I say. "You better start teaching me how to drive fast, mister."
"Let's go right now." He jokes.
I laugh as more tears threaten to spill out and lean my forehead against his.
"Did you tell your mom?"
He nods. "She was more excited than I was."
"You aren't?"
"Of course, it's just, it was easier before. I applied thinking I'd just leave and come visit some times. I applied not knowing I was going to have you in my life."
"It's okay," I grin. "It's not like I'm never going to see you. You'll be in college having fun, studying and making a life for yourself. By the time you graduate I'll be here waiting for you. Waiting to marry you."
"Don't forget about me while I'm gone." He chuckles.
"Never," I grin. "And you don't get too caught up with the parties and the girls." I roll my eyes.
"You're the only girl for me." He presses his lips against mine. He moves them in a fast motion, leaving me hungry for more and in a swift movement we're down the stairs and I'm off my feet.
My legs wrap around his wet body and he lays me down on my bed, taking off my shirt in the process. I removed his shirt, struggling in the process as his body was still wet from the rain.
His fingers caress my skin sending waves of tingles and butterflies through my body. When his eyes meet mine shivers go down my back as he opens his mouth and starts kissing all over my neck.
I unbuckle his pants and he quickly takes them off, taking mine off in the process. I tilt my head back in pleasure and moan as he trails kisses down my chest and down my stomach.
"W-What if Hunter comes back?" I struggle to let out.
"Shh," He speaks. "I'll be quick."
Rapidly, he takes off my underwear and he brings his lips back to mine, bringing his hand down my thigh. Gently, he moves his fingers slowly over me as he kisses me passionately.
"Jax." I moan.
Our lips locked in, his tongue entered my mouth, taking over and I gave in. I felt my body begin to shake as he moves his hand fast and right before he lets me finish he moves away from me.
He takes off his boxers and leans over to his pants that were on the floor and takes out a bright yellow wrapper.
"Hurry up." I say, getting anxious.
He chuckles, opening it and puts it on. He gets back on top of me, not putting all of his weight on me and immediately pushes himself in me.
I let out a brief moan, moving my hips against his in a slow motion, remembering the last time we did this in his car. I could feel my heart beat faster and faster as Jax begins to pick up his speed.
I felt my back arch and lift off the bed as he had both arms leaning against the bed frame and he roughly pushed himself deeper.
"Fuck," He moaned loudly. "Emma."
I savored the sensation, feeling closer to him than ever. Our bodies felt hot and sweaty against each other's and I gripped the bed sheets tightly before bringing my hands to his back and dipping my nails into his skin.
I was suddenly hit with a tidal wave and released myself into Jax, gasping loudly for air and he started to move slow once again, in and out, rocking his body.
"Fuck." He says. He pulls out, teasing me as he rubs himself against me before climbing off of me and rolling over next to me. "You're amazing." He kisses me.
He held me close to his chest, our naked bodies touching each other. My body was still shaking as he planted wet kisses on my shoulder and I laid there trying to catch my breath.
"I love you." I kissed his chest.
"I love you, too princess."
