《Taken by the Mafia》Chapter 9: principessa, my eyes are up here

"He hit her!"
Xavier sits himself down in the chair across from my desk. "Explain?"
His hands grasp themselves in his hair out of utter frustration. "One of the chefs. They hit Scarlett across the face."
An unsettling feeling of rage boiled up inside of me. I've made it clear from the second I took over as Don that women are not to be physically abused. I saw the way it broke my mother over the years.
I run a mafia, yes. Although, I don't traffic girls, my employees are taken off the street or have been saved from trafficking auctions. I'm not a complete dick.
I own brothels but the girls are under complete protection. Everyone who works there has chosen to go there. Some women prefer that to becoming a maid. They're paid handsomely and have 24/7 security.
Now there have been a couple of instances where I've had to force some women into their roles, for instance Scarlett. But it's for the better, she's already better off than she was before.
I will admit it's a struggle to keep my men under control at times but they pay the consequences if I find out they've mistreated a women, especially one under my protection.
"How long till I take the girls to school?"
"An hour."
"Go to the kitchen, ask the maids which chef and bring him to the basement." I click my fingers.
"This is going to be fun."
There's this darkness inside of me, where I enjoy watching men like Chef Wilson be brought to their knees, metaphorically speaking. He's currently tied to a metal chair in the middle of the dark and dirty cell.
Xavier sits in the corner watching with a smirk on his face playing with a Swiss knife. It seems he roughed up our chef a little. Cant say I blame him.
"It seems our head chefs been abusing our maids." I wander over to the table of tools. Ranging from knives to an electric drill.
His muffled cries were all I could hear. "Take off his gag." I motion to Xavier who quickly moves removing the piece of cloth from Adam Wilson's mouth.
"P-Please! I won't do it again. I swear! Don't kill me!" I smirked reaching for two nails and the electric drill.
"Unfortunately you know the rules we have here. You disobeyed me, undermining my authority so you will pay." A sinister smirk made its way onto my face.

I walked over to our trembling chef and bent down in front of him. "Now I will be honest, this is going to hurt." He looked at me confused until I placed a nail just below his knee cap, right in between the joints. I placed the drill against the nail and pressed the power button. His screams of agony mixed with the sounds of the drill brought an immense amount of pleasure.
His crimson blood spurted ribbons over the floor, creating a beautiful piece of artwork. Once I'd finished with the other knee, Adam seemed to be beginning to pass out from the pain.
I punched his cheek with my brass knuckles "Rise and shine sweetheart!" His eyes opened as he eyed me warily. Ahh, his eyes. Grabbing another nail I held it up to his left eye "please! Please! I beg you! I'll do anything! Anything!!"
His pleas and begging wouldn't help his case. The psycho inside me found it amusing. This man who's so keen to hit a woman, now sat in front of me powerless and begging for his life.
With the two nails in his eyes he looked really fucking stupid so of course I added some more throughout his body, like his arms, more on his legs, a few on his stomach and a couple in his scull. Then I did it Taken style, I poured water over him, jolting him awake and touched one of the nails with an electric cattle prod. His body jerked in multiple directions helplessly.
Eventually his body fried itself to death. I left the body for Xavier to deal with, the pungent smell of his burnt flesh was starting to get to me. I pulled my suit jacket over my stained shirt buttoning it up.
It seems I have perfect timing. I needed to take the girls to school. I make my way up the stairs from the basement and towards the entrance.
Immediately I spotted Scarlett. She looked different, more mature and dressed up. I've become aware of my attraction to this girl. It's unfortunate that she's formed such a close bond to nonna and Bianca. Speaking of I notice Bianca too, although it doesn't surprise me that she's dressed up, probably forced Scarlett into those clothes as well.
"Bianca. Change now. This is not a fashion show... you too Scarlett." I can't help but notice the relief that over took Scarlett's face. She's very clearly out of her comfort zone.

"Dante! You can't tell us what to wear! You're not our dad."
"No I'm your don, go change." She huffed in annoyance.
"Fine!" Bianca grabbed Scarlett's hand practically dragging her up the stairs.
I stood there at the front door waiting for half an hour. We're definitely going to be late. I really should've changed my shirt. I didn't expect then to take so long. In fact what on earth is taking them so long! "Bianca!" I called out.
I could hear both of their feet echoing off the floor. "Will this do!?" Bianca gestured to her outfit which was the exact same as before, just now missing those atrociously high heels. How on earth did that take half an hour?
I grind my teeth feeling exceedingly frustrated with my sisters disregard for my instructions. "Fine, just get in the car, we're late." Both girls scurried past me and outside towards the car.
Why did Bianca have to go and piss off her brother? I would've been just fine showing up to school in sweats.
We sat in the back of the car waiting for Mr Romano, I watched as he walked down the stairs with a pissed off expression painted on his face. Thanks to my dear best friend Bianca.
He got into the car, slamming the door behind him. "Jeez, relax." Bianca muttered. I guess I'm in the middle of a family feud.
"Shut it Bianca or else it's back to online school." She instantly shut her mouth as we sat in silence with thick tension drowning the air.
The drive remained the same. No one dear said a word, Bianca's already on thin ice. I just sat there idly waiting for this to be over.
Eventually we pulled up to the school. The parking lot deserted other than the empty cars. Bianca ran out of the car overjoyed leaving just us two. We both stepped out of the car pretending as if the other doesn't exist.
But when my eyes move to his suit I notice a splotch of red on his white dress shirt. "Uh Mr Romano?" He looked at me disinterested.
"There's something on your shirt." I pointed to the splotch of red. His eyes held unshed anger as he looked down.
"Give me a minute." I followed him to the trunk of his car. He rummaged around inside of it for a couple moments until finally he pulled out another white dress shirt.
I watched as he unbuttoned his suit jacket, tossing it into the trunk. My eyes moved to the dress shirt which he began undoing the buttons of. His shirt didn't just have one splotch of red, it was covered. Holy shit! Is that blood! My eyes widened, fear struck me and I wanted to run. This is just another reminder of what this man does.
Soon the red was gone, replaced by his bare tattooed chest my eyes refused to leave. The intricate designs along his torso moving up to his chest and down his arms- "principessa, my eyes are up here." I gulped. Caught red handed.
"Y-You had b-blood on your s-shirt!" It came out more accusingly than I'd intended but be didn't seem to mind.
"Yes principessa, it's a part of the job. Now let's go, you two are late enough as it is."
We walked to the administration desk where the two office lady's sat staring at their computers. Mr Romano cleared his throat. Both women looked up at him, first in fear as he had broken into the school a week or two prior but then their fearful looks changed to one's of lust. I looked to Bianca who just rolled her eyes, this must be a common occurrence.
Mr Romano enrolled us and made sure our timetables matched. He didn't want us apart, 'we're strongest when we're together' at least that's what he said.
The office ladies handed us our timetables, we were currently missing math class, can't say I'm complaining, I hate math. "Before you head off." Mr Romano reached into his back pocket and pulled out an iPhone and handed it to me "it has Xavier's, Leonardo's, Bianca's, Nonnas and my personal phone number. Only call for emergency's." I quickly nod my head. I've never had a phone before, I couldn't afford one.
"T-Thank you."
He shrugged pulling out his own phone and sending a text. "I have the school surrounded with security for extra precautions since Bianca refused to have a bodyguard follow her. Now go to class. I'm not letting you two come here so you can slack off." He shooed us away with his hands like we were pesky bugs.
He didn't even wait for us to head to class before he left. "Ready for your first day of school ever?" I looked to Bianca. She practically jumped up and down in excitement.
"Yes! Let's go!!"
