Beep...beep...beep... my alarm went off waking me awake from my peaceful slumber. It was 6:00 a.m., light sun rays were peeking through the curtains, Yawning, I sat up straight on my bed and rubbed my eyes. Stretching my limbs, I got up from my alluring bed and moved towards the giant windows, I removed the curtains and opened the door. Stepping outside in the attached balcony, I breathed in the fresh morning air. Once I was done I made my way towards the bathroom and after doing my morning routine I was changed into my gym wear and headed towards my gym room. I wasn't the kind of girl who would stay fit after eating any and everything that's delicious. Actually I am the opposite.

After around an hour of exercise, I took a cold shower and dressed up in a white top combined with white blazer and a pair of black ankle length jeans. Satisfied with my look, I grabbed my accessories and headed downstairs.

Just as I reached in the living room, the door-bell rang, I strolled towards the door and unlocked it to reveal Sofia (40 years old, caretaker of the house and also a very kind lady) followed by Hailey & Emily (19 years old, house cleaners and my friends too).

"Good morning Sofia, Hailey & Emily." I greeted them all with a warm smile.

"Good morning Ava." They all greeted me back with the same graceful smile.

I stepped aside letting them in and made my way towards the kitchen with them following me close behind.

"Have a seat everyone, I'll make us some burnt omelets and tasteless cup of coffees." I enthused.

They all laughed at my lame joke.

"Oh honey ! we all know, what a great cook you are." Sofia said with her contagious smile.

"She's right." Hailey added.

"You're the best." Emily cheered, as well.

"Why, thank you guys."

"I'll make you some fresh juice till then." Sofia said. I smiled.

By the time, we all had our breakfast it was 7:45 a.m.

"I'll get going. Take care y'all."

"You too sweetheart." Sofia said.

"See ya later Ava." Emily and Hailey replied.

I picked up keys of my black Audi R8, left my penthouse and drove to the company, RAE CORPORATION. where 'R' stands for Reece, 'A' for Ava and 'E' for Ethan. It's our company.

They both are my best friends and brothers. We together started this company five years ago and today it is one of the largest companies in USA, that owns various ordinary and luxury cafes and restaurants in the U.S.A.

When I reached the company, I was greeted by my wonderful staff. I replied them all with the same enthusiasm.

Once I passed them all, I got in my private elevator and pressed 30th floor button. 31st was Reecie's floor and 29th was Ethy's (Ethan) floor.

Minutes later, elevator door opened and I walked towards my cabin. As soon as I pushed open the door–

"Boo."

"Ahhh." I screamed involuntarily and jumped in surprise. While on the other hand laughter filled the cabin.

"You guys, I could have gotten heart attack."

They didn't stop laughing, instead began to laugh harder. I furrowed my brows and smacked their arms playfully.

"Ouch" They both exclaimed in unison.

"You've grown violent." Ethy said.

"Shut up Ethy, I know it didn't even hurt you." I voiced calmly.

"It did."

"Don't lie."

"It..did."

"It...did...not ." We were in a glaring competition when Reecie interrupted our little banter. He did look annoyed though.

"Stop it, you both !" Instantly both Ethy & I placed our fingers on our lips like kids and gave him our undivided attention.

He just rolled his eyes at our childish behaviour. This is like a morning routine, everyday there is something new.

"On a serious note, you're okay ?" he asked.

"Yes brother, I am okayyy.."

Reecie is the serious one amongst us. Ethy is the playful one while I lie somewhere in between.

"Well how are my ladies and little munchkin ?" Though we all talk to each other almost everyday still it's my habit of asking this question to them every morning.

"Em (Emma) is focused on her book, and Alex keeps himself busy with the Lego set you bought him. He doesn't leave it for a minute, you both are spoiling him." He said, pointing at us.

"That's what uncles and aunts are for." Ethy said, high fiving me.

Reecie gave us a glare, shutting us up.

"What about Sar (Sarah) ?"

"Off to save lives. At the hospital."

"Great." I stated seating myself on the seat and going through some papers, when I felt two pair of eyes on me.

"What ?"

"Nothing just thinking when are you going to get mingled." Ethy spoke.

"Whenever I'll find the one." I said dryly trying to end the topic.

"And you're gonna do that by merely sitting here." Reecie commented.

I don't like this Reece, you can't fight his logic.

"Maybe."

"Come on sis ! You gotta live a little."

Ethy said.

"Ughh..don't you guys have any work today ?" I again tried to change the topic.

"We know what you're doing ?" Ethy narrowed his eyes.

"I am not doing anything, now leave I have a lot of work to do." I focused my attention back to the papers.

They both sighed and and turned to leave.

"I love you both." I mumbled to their retreating figures.

"We love you too, baby sis." They replied finally exiting my cabin.

A smile made its way on my face and I resumed my work.

"I Want you to send this e- mail to the Knight's Corp." I told my PA, Rose.

"Okay, Ava."

"Thanks, Rose." I gave her soft smile. In return, she gave me a mock salute and left my cabin, chuckling.

I love my staff, it's their hard work that we are here.

"Yeah, I asked Rose to e-mail the proposal to the Knights. I hope they accept it this time."

"You're working hard for it for almost two years. They will, don't worry." Reecie replied.

"Can we not talk about the work right now ?" Ethy cut us as he entered Reecie's cabin and plopped onto the chair crossing his legs on the table.

"First of all put your feet down." I threw his legs down the table." He sniggered but listened.

"You sometimes act younger than Alex !" Reecie commented.

"I agree." And this time we were both laughing at an annoyed Ethy.

"I hate you guys." Ethy scowled at us.

"Aww...we love you tooooo brotherrrr." I sang while Reecie tried to supress his laugh.

"Anyways what are we doing this weekend, it's been a long time since we all went out together."

"And he is back." Reecie sighed.

"A family day. Outing or something" I suggested.

"Not a bad idea. You are turning smart in my company." Ethy said. I rolled my eyes at him.

Rest of the lunch passed with us laughing and enjoying our time.

I was talking to one of our restaurant managers in Washington, when my door burst open.

"Ava.." I turned around and gestured Rose to slow down, indicating towards my phone.

"Okay..okay..I will see to it." I said and hung up the call. Moving towards my seat, I sat down. She came and stood infront of my seat.

"What is it, Rose, that got you so excited ?"

"Ava...Ava..Mr.Knight's secretary called and asked to set up a meeting at 10:00a.m. tomorrow."

"Seriously ?"

"Yes, Mr.Knight liked your proposal."

"That's great. Ask Mr. Morris and Mr. Parker to meet me in the conference room and don't tell them about it also ask Mike to bring in all the details of the hotel there right away."

She nodded and left while I went in the conference room on the 26th floor.

Few minutes later, door flung open.

"What was so urgent that couldn't wait, I have another meeting in next 10 minutes." Ethy massaged his temple in annoyance and took a seat.

"What got you so excited, sis ?" Reecie asked.

"Mr.Knight liked the proposal and he wants to discuss it further." I told them and a huge grin took over our features.

"Well something good happened today." Ethy remarked.

"That's a great news. You did it, sis." Reece said walking towards me and engulfing me in a hug. Later Ethy joined us too.

"So, we are ready for tomorrow ?"

They both shared a look and turned to me.

"I can't come." They both said at same time.

My brows furrowed in confusion.

"What do you both mean ?" I asked.

"I'll have to attend Alex's parent teacher meet or Emma is gonna have my head ?"

Yes she can do that . A thought crossed my mind.

"And what about you ?" I asked Ethy.

"Site inspection."

"Oh..kay Alright I will manage then."

"You'll do great, we believe you."

"Thanks."

"Alright I will see you guys later."

Ethy left followed by Reecie. He gave me one last hug before leaving.

Later Mike Wilson (Head of this hotel project) came and we discussed about the project.

"I'll see you guys, tomorrow and text me once you reach at home. Understand ?"

"Yes ma'am." They both saluted while I laughed and walked away. "And don't forget to text us too." They yelled behind me. I just waved my hand.

"Welcome back, sweetheart." Sofia's cheerful voice beamed as soon as I opened the door.

"Thanks Sofia. Where are Emily & Hailey ?"

"We are here, Ava."

They waved at me from the terrace.

I walked and laid down at the couch. After texting both my brothers, I kept my phone aside.

"How was your day Ava ?"

"Great ! What about you guys ?" I asked sitting up straight.

"Boring." They mumbled in unison.

"What about you Sofia ?"

"Nothing interesting, honey."

"oh !" was my reply.

"You know what I think, guys ?" I enthused.

"What ?"

"You all need a change.

How about a night show at Little Valley amusement park."

They both instantly squealed in excitement.

"Thank you..thank you..thank you so much, Ava. You're the best."

"But that's so expensive, sweetheart. You don't have to do that."

I held her hand.

"Come on, Sofia, you guys deserve a break. So go change and enjoy."

"Thank you, sweetie."

"Your very welcome."

Later that night I had my dinner, and after some time drifted off into a peaceful sleep with only one thought in my mind....
