Paxton's POV

It was finally the day of the ceremony. Our little pups are now a month old and have already started their teething and crawling phases. The boys are definitely mama's boys. When Owen cried for the first time, Carolina was nursing Jacob and he wouldn't calm down until she hugged him.

My little Isabelle is definitely my little princess. I would give her the world. She is also the quietest and takes naps on my chest sometimes.

I put on my tux and fixed my tie.

"PAXTON! Why is Owen biting me!? It feels weirrddddddd! He doesn't even have all his teeth it's just gum." Complained my older brother.

"Clarence, just shut up. He's in that teething phase now finish with your tie and make sure the boys are in their little suits."

"Why did the pups get suits, again? It's not like they care."

"Coralina's mom thought it would be cute."

Clarence rolled his eyes and finished getting the pups together. We lined up at the altar and the guards carried the pups down the aisle as the ring bearers and little flower girl. Little Isabelle smiled and giggled at everyone. When she saw me, she clapped and laughed. I smiled at my little princess.

The music changed and everyone stood as my beautiful bride walked down the aisle. She looked absolutely stunning.

Her father walked with her and they got to me. Right as she reached out to take my hand, the lights flickered and went off.

"Carolina!"

"WAHHH." The pups cried. When the lights came back on she was gone from the spot she had been standing in.

Clarence yelled for the guards to search for her and he and I took the pups to the safe room. My wolf howled in anguish. Without knowing it I transformed into my wolf. The pups cried and my wolf nuzzled them and the boys looked scared but my little Isabelle clapped and hugged my snout.

I licked her cheek and then ran in search of my mate. Clarence had also shifted and we sniffed around the ceremony hall for clues. I sniffed at the flowers and found a note.

Alpha Paxton,

My brother may be dead, but that doesn't mean that his pack is. We have back our Luna and she will be my new mate as I take over. You have lost. And those pups of yours won't survive long.

My body shook in rage. He threatened my pups and mate! I will find him, and I will kill him.

My wolf took off, following the scent of the note and I found myself in the woods hunkered behind a bush. I large van pulled up and a man got out and opened the back. A foot with a white heel kicked him in the crotch.

More men came out and took out my struggling bride form the van and tied her up.

THen out came Bellamy. His scent was similar to Kendrick's and that made me sick. I was about to attack when Clarence came up next to me.

"Don't even think about doing this without us." He said. Behind him were her father, Colton, and a few guards. I nodded and we slowly crept closer to the edge of the bushes.

They tied her to the tree and Bellamy stepped closer to her. She spat in his face and he slapped her. That slap made me lose control and I pounced and took him to the ground. We rolled around in the dirt and somehow he overtook me.

"Surrender!"

"Never!"

"Then she will die!" He took out a silver knife and threw at her only to have it caught by Clarence.

"By my order as King Alpha, you are hereby sentenced to death!" He said in a roaring voice. His Alpha King side came out and at his command, the guards became like possessed beasts. Angry and hungry for blood. They all attacked him and his screams yelled out. His men fled but more soldiers came out and killed them too.

I shifted and ran to Carolina and hugged her to me after untying her. She cried into my chest. "I thought I was going to die or lose you."

"Never, I would never let anything take me or you."

When we got back the ceremony was rescheduled to tomorrow and the pups fell asleep after Carolina flooded them with hugs and kisses. Her motherly side had really been coming out lately.

THE NEXT DAY

Carolina's POV

The next day was the rescheduled ceremony. Paxton and I wanted to get this over with so I could finally assume the Luna position.

I walked down the aisle and Paxton hugged me to his chest for the entire ceremony. He held me as if I was going to get taken again.

"You are now pronounced Alpha and Luna. You may kiss the bride."

Paxton didn't waste a second as he claimed my lips. I kissed him back and there were cheers and pictures.

A maid came over and escorted us to a separate room.

"Paxton? What's this?" I asked.

"This is where we finish our part of the ceremony." He smiled. He opened the doors and it was a massive bedroom. The bed could easily sleep five people. There were rose petals everywhere and champagne and chocolate.

A pair of arms wrapped around my waist and kisses were placed along my neck.

"You are mine now." He said and picked me up and placed me on the bed.

He kissed me and took the veil out of my hair and undid the buttons and zipper of my dress. He slipped the dress off leaving me in white lingerie. His eyes darkened with lust.
