I woke up the next morning cuddled up against Paxton's bare chest. I thought back to last night and how wonderful it was.

I brushed the hair away from his forehead and kissed him on the cheek. I started to get up the only to be pulled back down onto the bed.

"Paxton." I groaned. He turned us so that he was spooning me and I could feel his hard-on rubbing against me. "Seriously?!"

"Sorry babe, can't help it when that fine bare ass is rubbing against it." He said chuckling

I rolled my eyes as he snuggled his head into my neck. He breathed in my scent and moaned. "I would love to do a round two right now but we have to go meet your parents. They were worried sick while you were gone."

I nodded and got up reluctantly and got dressed. I came out and found Paxton in jeans and a T-shirt on his phone.

I went behind him and jumped onto his back. He growled playfully. and dropped his phone on the bed as he grabbed my legs.

"Are you ready to go?" He said.

"Yes. Will you carry me?" I whined.

"Of course mo ghaol." He said.

We went downstairs and got in the car. We drove over to a small cafe nearby and found my parents waiting for us.

"Oh, sweetie!" My mom got up and hugged me tightly. "Are you ok?! What happened? Were you fed ok? They didn't touch you did they?" She started looking over me and my dad chuckled and pulled me out of her grasp and hugged me.

"Hello, sweetheart. We were worried."

"Hi, dad." I smiled and hugged him back. We sat down and my mom went on to talk about the Luna ceremony.

After a nice brunch mom and dad left to do some shopping and Paxton drove me back to the pack house.

When we got back Paxto picked me up and took me up to his office and sat me on his lap while he did his work. I played with his hair and kissed his cheek every once in a while.

Colton came in to give a border update. "You two are sickeningly sweet."

"We know," I said kissing Paxton's cheek again. Colton rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, while you two were having your lovers reunion, no sign of rouges have popped up but we did find something, uh, interesting. A woman was found asleep on the edge of the border. She, uh, says she's your mate, Paxton."

My blood ran cold and Paxton held me tighter. I growled under my breath.

"What should we do with her?"

"Let's go talk to her and find out what she really wants," Paxton said.

My wolf began to get territorial over our mate. Paxton must've sensed this because he picked me up and nuzzled his nose in the nape of my neck.

"You're mine when we get back here, mo ghaol." He said making me purr in delight and anticipation.

We walked down to the room the put this woman in and let me tell you, she is a piece of work. She had bleached blonde hair that looked like it wanted to cry out for help and her fake tan was blotchy. Her face was caked in makeup and piercing green eyes narrowed when she saw Paxton holding my waist.

She wore tall heels and very short skirt with a very revealing corset type top that pushed her plastic boobs up.

"What are you doing with that mutt!" Her nasally voice screeched.

Paxton growled, "This is my mate! And you better watch who you're talking to!"

"I'M your mate! Not this little whore!" She said.

"Says the one dressed like a whore!" I bit back.

"I challenge you for the Luna position!" She growled out.

Paxton shifted out of anger but Colton managed to shift as well and stop him from attacking her.

"That is against regulations! You cannot challenge a mate of an Alpha unless they have not been marked or mated yet by the Alpha."

"I don't see any mark," I smirked at her and pulled my hair away from my neck to show off my mark.

Her face dropped and then she smirked and everything went black.

PAXTON'S POV

"Throw her in the jail!" I yelled. I picked up my unconscious mate and ran her to the medic house.

I had freaked when the slut changed into her wolf and thrown Coralinas body making her black out. I will deal with her personally when Coralina gets better.

They took her in immediately to assess her but wouldn't let me in. After they did their examination on her the doctor came out.

"She is in stable condition and she will be ok. She just has a cracked rib which her wolf is quickly healing. She is very lucky. With the force she was thrown at, your pups are still ok."

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh, you didn't know? Luna is pregnant. I'd say the first day of the pregnancy but with our werewolf speed, we found the tiny little peanuts in an ultrasound. You're having a litter of about four."

"Four!"

"Yes."

"Paxton?" and that's when I heard my beautiful mate's voice.
