I sit in my bed with my knees to my chest. Today daddy had to go to court and I knew it was because Bella was taking him there. I don't know why she was still trying to gain custody over me. I'm 17 and nearly an adult and barely know Bella.

"Willow, you have to get dressed," Daddy said fixing his tie. "You have to be in court as a witness remember?" He asked.

I didn't.

"Okay, give me 10 minutes," I said. He smiles at me before shutting the door back. I sigh and run my hand down my face in frustration. I climb out of bed and walk over to my closet and grab a cute outfit and quickly get dressed.

I decided to curl my long black hair today and put on a little lipstick. I look at myself in the mirror and smile to myself. I looked really cute in this.

I grab my purse and walk to the living room where Carter was standing with Venus in his arms. He was giving her kisses on her cheek and making her laugh. I look Carter up and down and notice he was also dressed up nicely.

"Are you going to court too, Carter?" I asked.

Carter looks at me and smiles. "Yeah, apparently I'm a witness as well."

I walk over to him and take Venus from his arms. I give her a kiss on the cheek and walk into the kitchen where daddy was smoking a cigarette. He was leaning over to sink and Amber was rubbing his back. "It's going to be okay, she's not a good person so you're going to win sweetie," She whispers to him.

"She's right, daddy," I said making my presence known. "She can't do anything with all the evidence against her," I said.

Daddy looks at me and smiles. He puts out his cigarette when he notices Venus in my arms and Amber sprays a little bit of her perfume. I smile gratefully at her and hand her Venus. I open a cabinet and grab my breast pumps and smile awkwardly at them. "Um, I have to pump my milk or I'll be leaking like a cow," I said.

Daddy nods his head and leads Amber out of the room.

I sit down at the table and start pumping my breast.

When I finish I have to pack filled with milk and place them in Venus's diaper bag. I also pack some bottles, diapers, baby wipes, spare clothes, extra pacifiers, and a few things to keep her occupied.

I grab the diaper bag and walk into the living where I see Daire on the phone. I frown when I notice his outfit.

That stupid puffer jacket. Of course, he's wearing it. As soon as it gets a little cold outside he would always have that stupid North face puffer jacket. I swear I'm going to burn that coat one day.

He hangs up the phone and smiles at me.

"You look beautiful today baby," He said. "I can't say the same for you," I said glaring at him. He frowns and looks down at his outfit. "Baby, I swear I wear this outfit every day and you never say anything," He said. "That's my point, Daire," I said. He looks at me confusedly and I roll my eyes.

"Daire Mohamad Frost, you cannot wear ripped jeans and a hoodie to court," I said in annoyance.

Daire smirks and shrugs his shoulders. "I can wear what I want to court, Willow," He said. I scoff and look at Venus who was dressed appropriately today.

"Venus looks perfect though," I said taking her from Amber's arm.

Daddy walks into the living room with his and my shoes. "We'll meet Levi on the way there and we agreed not to tell Bella about Marisa's pregnancy until this all calms down," He said handing Daire my shoes. "But we need to hurry, we're supposed to be there in 40 minutes," He said quickly putting on his shoes.

Daire bends down and helps me put on my boots.

Daire grabs Venus's car seat and I strap her in. I hand her to Daire and grab onto his arm. Carter walks over to the table near the door and grabs his keys. "Willow, Daire we're taking my car," He said opening the door.

We walk out the door behind Carter and get in his car. Daddy and Amber get in his car.

I sit in the back with Venus while Daire sat in the front with Carter. The drive was silent and long. I kept rehearsing what I was going to say to the judge over in my head.

After 40 minutes of driving, we finally arrive at the courthouse.

I let out a long breath before Daire opens the door for me. I climb out of the car and brush myself off. I sigh and run my hand through my hair and fiddle with my skirt in nervousness. Daire walks over to me and grabs my hand. "It's fine, baby, think happy thoughts," He said tucking some hair behind my ear. I smile and wrap my arms around his waist. I snuggle into his chest and let out a breath.

He pulls away from me and opens the back seat. He grabs Venus and shuts the door and grabs my hand.

We walk inside the building and the first person I see was Bella and her fiance, Mark. She glances at me and shakes his head in disappointment. She whispers something to Mark and he looks at Daire with hatred.

I squeeze Daire's hand as we walk up to them.

"Hi, Bella," I said to her. She looks down at me and shakes her head. "I already have a room prepared for you and the baby at our home Willow," She said. I look over at Mark and frown. "No thanks, thank you though," I mumble.

She frowns and glares at Daire. "You will be put in prison," She said. She looks behind us and her face lights up at the person who was approaching. "Carter, Levi my babies." They stop beside us and look over Bella. "Who is he?" Carter asked pointing to Mark. "Hey, I'm Mark, Bella's fiance," He said stretching his hand out.

Carter ignores him and looks at me. "We have to go," He said. He grabs Venus's car seat and walks away. Levi looks at Bella for a second before following behind Carter. "It's nice seeing you again Mark," I said pulling Daire and walking away.

An hour later we're sitting outside the courtroom. I was feeding Venus out of my breast bouncing my leg nervously. I watch as Levi pace back and forth as we wait for Carter to finish his testimony.

"Fucking hell," Levi mumbles under his breath.

Venus pushes away from my chest and starts squirming under the blanket. I uncover her and place her on my chest and start patting her back. "I wonder what kind of questions they are asking him?" I wondered out loud. Levi looks at me and shakes his head. "Why the fuck can't we go inside, Daire's in there," He said. I shrug my shoulders and wipe off Venus's mouth after she spits up.

A police officer walks out of the room and points to Levi. "It's your turn," He said.

Levi looks at the man then at me and back at the men. "What about my sister?" He asked. "Someone would be out here with her until it's her turn," The officer said. Levi shakes his head. "Why can't she come with me?" "We don't want any of your testimony interfering with each other." He said.

Levi was about to speak again but I beat him to it.

"Just go, Levi," I said.

He looks at me for a second before sighing. "Fine." He mumbles before following the officer inside the courtroom.

I sigh and sit Venus on my leg and hold her head. I smile down at her and make silly faces at her. She laughs at me and starts kicking her legs. I giggle at her and kiss her cheek. She laughs and puts her fist in her mouth slobbering all over herself.

I give her kisses before holding her to my chest.

I sigh and take out my phone and scroll through some old photos on my phone. I blush when I see a butt-naked photo of Daire I didn't realize was in there.

I must have dozed off because someone started shaking me trying to get my attention. I open my eyes and look at a police officer standing over me. "It's your turn, Miss. Aburn," He said.

I nod my head and wipe my face. I put Venus in her car seat and buckle her up. I grab the carriage and walk with the officer.

We walk inside the courtroom that had a few people inside. They were all staring at me as I walk in. I look down at my feet avoiding all of their eyes. I gulp as I walk to the witness seat. I stop before sitting down and walk over to where Daire was seated in the front row. I hand Venus to him and walk back to the witness seat.

I sit down and run my fingers through my hair.

"Hello, Miss Aburn," The judge said smiling at me. I smile back at him and look down at my lap. "I'm going to ask you a few questions for you okay?" He asked. I nod my head and bite my lip. I look over at Daire who was smiling at me. I smile back at him and take a deep breath.

"Okay, sweetie, can you tell me your mother's full name?" He asked.

I think for a minute and bite my lip. I look at Bella for a good minute and shake my head. "Um, Bella Aburn?" I asked. "Birth name, Middle name, and maiden name," He said. I sigh and fiddle with the bracelet on my wrist. "No, I cannot tell you that, since I don't know it," I mumble. He nods and writes something down. "Your father's full name," He said.

"Graham Antonio Aburn," I said with a smile on my face while looking at daddy.

"Okay now let me ask you a few questions about your childhood?" He said.

I nod my head and look at him.

"Um, my childhood was fine. I don't really remember much before I was 7. I was in a car accident and was in a coma for a few months. I was told that my mom, Bella, had died in that accident but in reality, she left me and my family. If I'm being honest I would have liked her to be dead instead of learning she left me when nobody knew if I'll die or survive. Anyways after that, my childhood was normal. I grew up around men, my grandpa who I adored, my brothers, my daddy, and my uncles. We are a very close family and I was their little princess. My childhood was the best."

"And can you tell me about your relationship with Mr.Frost?" He asked.

I nod my head and tuck some hair behind my ear. "Mr.Frost and I are partners and we've been dating for over a year, and we have a child together," I said glancing at Daire. He smiles at me and I smile back.

"And where did you meet Mr.frost?"

"At school," I mumble.

"And do you believe Mr.Frost took advantage of you?"

"No, I don't believe he did. Our relationship went both ways. And I always liked him and never felt like he took advantage of me. What kind of question is that?"

"Have you ever felt unsafe in your current environment?"

I shake my head and run my hand through my hair. I bite my lip to hold back the tears because how dare he? I have never in my life felt unsafe around my family. Maybe a little uncomfortable around uncle Tobias but I rarely see him. But I love my family and yet never felt unsafe around them. That was a crazy question I hope he never asks again.

"And how do you feel about your father?" He asked writing something down.

"I love him. He's the best and most supportive person I've ever met. And he's doing his best right now. He owns his own mechanic shop or whatever and is doing really well. He even hired Daire to help around, he is so considerate. He is the best person in the world and I would hate to leave him to live with a woman I barely know even if it's for a year." I admitted.

The judge hums and hits his hammer thing on the desk.

"That's all the questions I have for our witnesses today and I will see you all in the courtroom for one final time tomorrow at 4," He said standing up and collecting his papers and files.

An officer comes over to me and helps me off the stan. I rush over to daddy and jump into his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck and snuggle my face in between his neck and shoulders. He wraps his arms around me and hugs me tightly as I cry in dispair.

"It's okay, Willy," He said rubbing my back. "No one is going to take you away from me," He whispers before letting me go. He bends down to my height and wipes my tears. "Don't cry because after what you and your brothers said today there is no way in hell that judge would make you stay with her," He whispers.

I smile and hug him again.

"You better be right."
