"I can't believe you're painting my room already," Levi said from the doorway. "And I can't believe dad force me to sleep in Carter's room until I move out," He said taking a large bite from his apple. "I still have three more weeks until I start moving to the campus," He grumbles.

I smile and continue painting the wall.

"I'm not liking this yellow color," Daire said taking a sip from his beer. I frown and look at him. "Well then we should go down to the clinic and find out the gender," I said getting agitated. "And I'm going to add more color," I said placing the paint roller down and stepping back to look at my work.

I bite my lip and frown. "Where is the grey paint?" I asked. "I have an idea in mind," I said walking over to the corner where the paint was kept. I walk over to where I was painting and frown. "What?" I asked looking at Daire. He rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "Are you going to tell me about your plan?" He asked.

I sigh and push past him. "No, because you might not like it," I said smiling fakely at him.

"Yeah, whatever," He mumbles before walking out the room.

I poke my cheek with my tongue and throw the paintbrush down to the ground. I run my hands through my hair in frustration. I don't know what's been going on with me and Daire lately but it hasn't been good. We've been arguing a lot lately and stressing over the baby. It just seemed we were frustrated with each other more lately.

I bite my lip and crouch down on the floor. I look around and wipe the tears that have fallen from my eyes. Crying, that's all I've been doing lately. I don't know if it's the hormones or because my relationship might be falling apart minute by minute.

I wipe my face and stand up. I look at my artwork and smile. I think that's enough decorating for one day.

I walk to my room and close the door behind me. I lean against the door and sigh. I walk over to my closet and take out some clothes and walk out of the room to the bathroom.

I take a quick shower and get dressed in some clothes.

I tie my hair up and walk to the living room. I sigh and look at Daire who rested on the couch. I walk over to him and rub his bare leg. "Daire can we talk outside?" I asked him. I play with his leg hair and smile sweetly at him. "Fine," He said standing up and leading the way outdoors.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I think something happening to us," I said looking down at my shoes. "I don't know if it's because of the baby and we're just stressing out over them, but I don't know," I said biting my lip. "We've been fighting a lot lately and it's messing me up," I said fidgeting with my bracelet.

"Don't blame our baby on this, okay?" He said pointing at me. "They have nothing to do with it, and yes I've been stressed lately and you're not helping with that Willow," He said.

I bite my lip and nod my head. I shrug and wrap my arms around my stomach. "Okay, whatever," I said walking away.

A few hours later I was laying on my bed watching some youtube videos with my pink fan on full blast. The summertime was one of the hottest times and I hated it.

"Willow," Daire said rubbing my shoulder. I bite my lip and turn towards him. "Yeah?" I asked. He sighs and rubs my arm. "I'm sorry," He mumbles. "I've been stressing out lately with work and trying to find a good real job to take care of our family." He said. He runs his hand through his hair. "I don't mean to take my anger out on you. I'm sorry, please forgive me."

I look at him and give him a small smile.

"It's fine, Daire, I understand," I said looking down at my hands.

"I'm just a little tired so Imma lay back down," I said smiling at him and laying back down.

Daire sighs and stands up. "I'm really sorry, Willow," He said. I don't say anything and bite my lip. He sighs again and kisses my forehead before walking out of the room.

I wipe my tears away and text Ashlynn to come over.

45 minutes later someone knocks on my door. "Come in," I said sitting up from my position on the bed. Ashlynn walks in with an in her hand. She grins at me and shuts the door behind her. "Hey, Will, how are you feeling?" She asked. I shrug and bite my lip. "Here I got this for you," She said pulling out a pink Gatorade and handing it to me. "Thanks," I said taking the drink and taking a long sip from my drink.

"What's wrong, babe," She said placing her hand on my knee.

I wipe my eyes which were beginning to tear up. "I-I t-think me and Daire are drifting apart," I said wrapping my arms around my body. "For weeks now, we've been getting in a lot of fights and not talking as much as we used to. He didn't even come to my last doctor appointment and he almost never misses any of my appointments without a reason," I said playing with the rings on my fingers. "It just hasn't been the same lately," I said wiping my eyes with the sleeve of my sweatshirt.

"Maybe you guys just need some time to yourselves," She said stroking my hair. "You guys are going to have a baby soon and things aren't going to be the same." She looks me in the eyes and smiles sadly. "The baby's due date is approaching and you guys are stressing over it, y'all need an escape from reality even if it's for a few days," She said squeezing my shoulders.

I think about her words for a minute. We were stressing over the baby. And we did need a break from reality. Daire especially needed a break. He hasn't just been stressing over our baby, but he needed a break from the harsh reality of being an adult. It couldn't have been a more better idea.

"Where do you think we should go?" I asked Ashlynn.

She smiles and grabs her purse. "Cody's mom told me about this at his graduation party," She said as she rummages through her purse. "She wants me and Cody to get back to get back together so she thinks this place would be perfect for us to go before Cody starts college." She said pulling out a flyer and handing it to me. "I somehow convinced Cody to come with me in a few weeks and hopefully it can mend our relationship. It's what the place is known for fixing failing relationships."

I smile and take a look at the flyer. It was a getaway resort in Florida. I've been to Florida when my grandpa had celebrate his birthday there. It was also my 9th birthday and we stayed there for an entire week. The last time I been to Florida was two months before my grandpa died. He wanted to spend his last moments in Florida and I haven't been back since.

"Do you really think my overprotective father would let his pregnant 17-year-old daughter go to Florida for a romantic getaway with a 19-year-old boy alone?" I asked her.

"My mom did," She said taking the flyer back. "And his parents agreed to come along with us but would give us our space," She said.

"How much does it even cost?" I asked. Ashlynn looks at the flyer. "$85.00 per couple, you're not allowed to go alone it's called a couple getaway for a reason," She said biting her lip. My eyes widen at this information. "Now I know I can't go," I said sadly. "I don't have $85 just lying around," I mumble.

"It's okay we can find something else a lot cheaper," Ashlynn said grabbing my laptop and begins typing.

I nod my head in agreement and fidget with my fingers.

"Oh here," She said showing me something on the laptop. "It's a garden two hours away from here," She said smiling largely at me."You guys can have lunch there or get married or just spend the day there," She said.

I smile and nod my head. "Yeah, maybe," I said.

Ashlynn smiles sadly at me and squeezes my knee. Her phone beeps and she checks it. "Shit, I have to go, Will, I'm sorry," She said grabbing her things. "I promise tomorrow we'll spend the entire day with each other." She said.

She walks over to the door and grabs the doorknob but stops. "Here, Willow, keep this resort in mind," She said placing the flyer in the drawer. She smiles one last time before walking out of the room.

I sigh and lay down on my bed. I close my eyes and let sleep take over.

"Baby," Daire mumbles in my ear. He lightly shakes me making me open my eyes and glare at him. "Yes?" I asked. He smiles and kisses my lips. "This is exactly what we need," He said holding the flyer close to my face. "We need to get away and I think this resort is perfect for us," He said reading over the flyer. "But it's $85, we don't have 85 dollars," I said biting my lip. Daire shakes his head and chuckles. "I can get the money, that's no problem," He said grabbing my hand. "We really need this, Willy," He said.

I bite my lip and look down. "Yeah we do, we really do need this," I said my eyes tearing up.
