《His baby girl》28.

I was sitting alone outside on my porch painting my toenails, enjoying the winter air. I am listening to music on my earphones and humming a tune.
"Hey, baby," Daire said sitting beside me. I smile at him and finish painting my nails. "I was heading out to go see a friend," He said pulling on my ponytail. I take out my earbud and frown at him. "Jeremiah?" I asked. Daire shakes his head. "No this friend is not a good friend, he's very bad." He mumbles focusing on my ponytail. "Then why are you guys friends?" "Because he gives me stuff to help with my stress."
I nod my head. "Okay, have fun, but be back before 6, because daddy is taking us to lake house since Christmas is next week, and I have an amazing gift for you," I said bopping his nose and kissing his lips.
Daire smirks and grabs the back of my head and deepens the kiss. "Okay, but when I get back I want a quickie." He said running his finger down my neck to my chest. "I love your tight pu-vagina." He kisses me again before getting up and leaving.
I watch as he leaves in awe. He also manages to make my heart flutter with butterflies. And make me melt to the ground at any given moment. Especially in that outfit.
I smile and blush at my thoughts. I shake my head and continue to paint my nails.
After a few minutes, I finally finishes painting my toe and fingernails. I sigh and look up at the cloudy sky and I could tell that it was gonna rain soon.
"Willow," Levi said from his bedroom window. I look over at the window with a raised eyebrow. "Go start packing we're living in a few hours. And go look for Betty and Cotton crates." He said shutting his window.
I sigh and pick up my nail polish.
I go inside and see my uncle sleeping on the couch. He looked uncomfortable sleeping there. He normally slept in Levi's room on a blow-up mattress. I smile at my alcoholic uncle and grab a quilt to cover up his body. I kiss his forehead before skipping off to my room.
I grab my purple glitter suitcase and set it on the bed. I open it and noticed I hadn't unpacked it from the last time I used it in the summer. It still had my bathing suits, summer clothes, sunglasses I thought that I had lost, sunscreen, flip-flops, and some kid bracelets that I had bought on my vacation. I dumped my suitcase on my bed and grab the clothes and throw them in my pink hamper. I throw away the sunscreen and flip-flops and place the bracelets in my jewelry box.

I grab some clothes from my closet and gently packed them inside the suitcase. Since Christmas was next week I had packed two weeks' worth of clothes. I then pack my favorite hairbrush and bathroom supplies and all my electronic chargers. I look around and made sure I got everything I needed.
My eyes land on my jewelry box. I smile and take out my bracelets and rings and put them inside a pastel green small pouch and place them in my suitcase.
Once I was finishing packing I get dressed out of Daire's hoodie and sweatpants.
I leave my room and go to the storage closet. I open it and look around at the mess. I rummage through the mess to look for Cotton's crate. I knew Betty wasn't going to be in a crate she normally just sat in someone's lap and never used her crate. But Cotton needed his crate because he wouldn't sit still or would try to scratch people at any cause.
I finally find the red crate under a bunch of blankets.
I place the crate near the front door and walk back to my room to take a nap.
"Willy," I heard a distant voice call out. "Willow, get up," Someone shook my shoulder. I slowly open my eyes and look up at the person who tried to wake me up. I smile at the blue-eyed boy who was bending down and looking at me. "Come on, Willow, your dad is ready to go," He mumbles and kisses my lips. I smile at him as I sit up.
I climb out of bed and stretch my arms over my head. I look at Daire with a huge smile on my face. He grins back before smoothing out my bed hair. "You look so beautiful," Daire said grabbing my face and kissing my lips.
I blush and pull my face away from his hands. "Come on let's get ready to leave," I said grabbing my suitcase and one of Daire's leather jackets. I place the jacket over my arms and look back at Daire with the biggest smile on my face. "I look like you now, Darry," I said bouncing on my feet. Daire looks at me and licks his lips. "You look way better baby," He said running his hand through his hair.
He grabs my suitcase and walks out of the room.
I smile and skip behind but I stop in the middle of the hallway. I turn around and run back to my room where my dolls were all placed neatly on the chair. I look at them with sad eyes. I pick up Nora and cradle her in my arms. "I'm going to miss you guys," I tell them. I stroke Gertrude's hair and place Nora back down beside her sister Louisana. "But don't worry, Steph is gonna be here with you guys until Christmas when he's coming with us, but until then he'll be you guys," I tell them.

I then turn around and look at my fish. I tap on their tank and they swim towards me. "Aww I'm gonna miss you guys and I'm praying when I come back you guys don't be dead," I mumble. I look at the sticky note where all the instructions on taking care of Vixen, Gem, and Goldie.
I leave my room and run into Steph who was walking to Levi's room with a beer in his hand. "Steph," I say stopping him. He stops and smiles at me. "Yeah, Willow? He asked. I still couldn't believe my daddy was a few years older than him. Steph was balding, teeth rotting, and beer belly man, but was sweet nonetheless. He was the sweetest person in the family. And hated conflict and that's why he never really fought back when he was going through divorces with his wives. He reminded me of my grandpa. My daddy said, my grandpa was a horrible abusive drunk man that couldn't take care of himself let alone his three sons. But when I knew my grandfather he was the kindest, quietest man I've ever met. Yes, he did drink but he was very careful whenever he drank around me and my brothers. He was the complete opposite of how daddy explained him. Even though uncle Toby looked most like grandpa, Steph was more like him.
"You will take care of my dolls and my fish right?" I asked.
Steph smiles at me and nods his head. "Yes, I will," He said. "You go now and have fun okay?" He said. I smile at him. "Thank you, uncle Steph," I said hugging him. He hugs me back and tucks some hair behind my ear. "I'll see you on Christmas Day," He said stepping away from me and turning away to go into Levi's room.
I turn around and walk towards the door. I look outside to see daddy, Carter, Levi, Daire, and Landon near daddy's car. I walked toward them to see what they were doing. They were trying to fit daddy's prised charcoal-grilled in the trunk.
"Why are you trying to take the grill?" I asked.
They all look at me for a second before going back to the task at hand. After a few moments of them not answering me I knew I wasn't going to get an answer. I sigh and walk over to the porch. I look at Carter's aisle and see his painting. I look at it in awe. It was a purple flower with a black background. It was beautiful. All of my brother's artwork was beautiful and he normally just packed his paintings in a container and place them in his room. Some of his artwork was hunged up in his room but not many of them were.
I sit on one of the chairs on the porch and cross my legs and watch the boys do their work.
After a while of scrolling through my phone, someone stands over me. I look up with a frown on my face to see Daire and my frown instantly turns into a smile. "Yes?" I asked. He holds his hand out for me and I take it. He pulls me up to my feet and I stumble into his chest. "Come everything's ready to go," He said kissing my forehead. I smile and take his hand. "Okay let's go."
We walk to daddy's car and Daire opens the door for me. I climb in and he climbs in next to me. "How long is the drive again?" Daire asked placing his hand on my knee. "Uh, 3 or 4 hours normally depends," I said biting my lip and looking at him. He grins and leans in but was stopped by someone grabbing his hoodie.
"No kissing my daughter for the entire drive, Daire Frost," Daddy said pulling Daire back. Daire groans and sits back in his seat. Daddy pats his shoulder and shuts the door before getting in the driving seat.
Levi gets in the car with Cotton's crate and places it in my lap. "I don't see why we couldn't just leave the animals with Steph," He said buckling his seatbelt. He sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
Soon Carter gets in the car with Betty in his lap. "Is Landon coming with us?" I asked Carter. Carter shakes his head and looks at me. "Nah he just came over to help us pack, he's staying home since Julie's due date is days away so they can't really travel anywhere," Carter said. I nod my head and bite my lip in understanding.
"Okay, kids were all set?" Daddy asked starting up the car. "Yeah, I think we are," Carter said looking back at us with a grin on his face. I smile back at him nodding my head.
Daddy nods his head and drives out the driveway and out of the neighborhood.
