《His baby girl》22.

I was sitting silently in the backseat of Carter's car with Daire in the passenger seat. It was Saturday and like I promise I was heading over to watch Landon and Julie's baby Ty. I told Daire that he could stay behind if he wanted but he insisted that he come so I won't be bored.
"Remember, Ty is allergic to peanuts and he eats at 7, playtime is at 7:45, bathtime is 8 and bedtime is at 8:30. He isn't allowed to watch tv that is a treat and speaking of treats the only ones he can have is Goldfish crackers and fruit snacks. He can't go to be without his pacifier, his blanket, and a bedtime story. And don't forget to turn on his air cleaner machine and don't forget to keep the cat away from him at all times and feed the cat."
"That's a lot of rules for a baby," Daire mumbles.
I smile at Carter. "Don't worry Carter, I have everything under control and I even wrote out the schedule from the last time you told me this," I said showing my pink glittery notebook. "And you guys will be back around 10 right?"
"Yeah," He said pulling into a small neighborhood. "So we'll be fine and I met Ty a few times he loves me," I said biting my lip thinking about the times I met the toddler.
We finally pulled into the driveway of a small craftsman's house that was garden by a large black fence. There was a white honda park on the side of the house with the licenses plate said Julie written in Barbie font.
Carter parks behind the honda and turns the engine down. Before I could get out Carter calls my name. "Willow please no funny business," He said giving me stern look. I look at him with a confused look. "Huh?" He shakes his head and looks at Daire with a dark glare. "Daire, don't try anything on my sister in someone else house," He pauses as he thought. "With a baby inside."
Daire grunts and opens the door. He then opens the door for me and grabs my hand to help me out. He grins and smooths out the strings of hair that have fallen out of my messy bun. "You look so beautiful tonight baby." He said kissing my cheek.
I roll my eyes knowing it wasn't true. The only reason I ditch my nice bright colors is because I started my period the other night and I really didn't feel like messing up any of my clothes. And I also I've just been down lately and my outfits really complement that.
"Don't lie Darry," I said pushing his shoulder slightly. He chuckles but then his face turns serious. "You look beautiful in anything, Bud," He said rubbing his finger down my cheek. I blush and look down at my shoes. "You look really good though," I said pulling on his leather jacket.
"Maybe too good, for a babysitting job, you know?" I said tugging on his shirt.
He grins and takes my hand leading me towards the house. We walk up the small porch and I can't help but smile a the cute wooden porch swing in the corner. Carter follows behind us and smiles down at me. He knocks on the door. We don't wait too long because soon we see Landon in his glory opening the door with a huge smile on his face.

"Carter, Will, Daire, hey guys," He said opening the door wider.
We were instantly greeted with the sight of flowers everywhere. I remember Julie once telling me about her love for flowers since her grandparents own their own flower shop. She grew up in it and just was fascinated with the beauty of flowers. I agree with her but my flower obsession was only limited to a few, unlike Julie who adored all types of plants.
"Julie is still getting ready but she'll be done soon," Landon said making his way over to the living room that was decorated in colors. "Sorry about the mess," He said picking up some toys that lay over the orange couch. "We were a little busy and couldn't clean up."
Finally, we hear the padding of soft footsteps. Julie stood there with her heavily pregnant stomach looking gouges as ever. She wore a grey dress sweater and knee-high grey boots. Her curly dark hair was done into a high ponytail above her head and her make-up done to perfection.
She smiles at me making her dark eyes light up. "Hey, Will, it's been so long," She said coming over to me. She gives me a tight hug which was hard due to her stomach. I was once jealous of Julie when I first met her as a child. Like I said Landon was one, if not my first crush as a child and when he introduce Julie to Carter, he also introduce her to me. For the first few months of knowing her, I gave her the cold shoulder and tried to still all of Landon's attention. But eventually, me and Julie became friends and now I only find her husband attractive. No longer liking him.
"Hey Julie," I said looking her over. "You look amazing," I said biting my lip. She smiles and blushes at me. "No your just bluffing," She mumbles shyly. I shake my head at her. "No dead serious, you look amazing, Julie." Julie smiles at me and looks behind me. Her face scrunches up as she looks at Daire. "Is that the boy you were telling me about Landon?" She asked her husband not taking her eyes off Daire.
Landon walks over to us and nods his head. "Yeah, that's him." He grins at Daire before walking away. Julie's face breaks out into a smile. "It's very nice to meet you and I hope you're treating our Will well," Julie said looking at Daire with soft eyes.
Daire smiles at Julie.
A baby's laugh interrupts the moment and we all turn to where Carter stood near the hallway. He held a mini Landon in his arm. The baby was dressed in a duck outfit and had a light blue blanket in his hands. He was just way too adorable.
"My baby," Julie said walking over to Carter and taking Ty from his arms. "Aww did Carter put this hot thing on you?" She said tugging on the duck outfit. She frowns at Carter who looks at her and shrugs. "I saw it in his closet and had to put it on him," Carter said tickling the baby.
Julie rolls her eyes and turns to me. "You remember Will, don't you?" She said to the baby. Ty only giggles and looks at me with his dark eyes. "She's our friend," She puts the baby down and he drops down to his hands and knees and crawls away. Julie sighs and looks up at me. "Don't let him fool you he can walk, but he prefers crawling."

Landon comes back into view with two coats in his hands. "Here, babe, we have to get going," He said placing the trench coat over Julie's shoulder. He looks at Carter who was standing nearby. "We taking your car right?" He asked handing him something I couldn't see. Carter nods and opens the front door.
Julie turns to me. "I trust you know all the rules?" She said grabbing my hands. I nod my head and smile at her. "Good okay," Sh sighs and latches onto Landon's arm. "Please call us if anything happens my son's life is in your hand."
My eyes widen but I quickly smile. "I will don't worry Julie," I said.
Julie looks over at her son who was playing with his toys one last time. She sighs before letting Landon lead her out of the house.
Once the door was closed I walk over to it and lock it. I turn around and smile at Daire. "Okay so it's only 5, so we should do something to entertain Ty," I said biting my lip. I look around the room that looks as if it was run by a toddler. I spot a stuffed animal that had a screen on its stomach. I walk over to it and pick the toy up. "This looks fun," I smile over where Ty was playing with a toy firetruck.
I wave the toy in front of his face, he giggles and grabs the toy from my hand. He presses the paw and its ears light up. I look at the dog in awe, I had normal toys almost none of them lights up like this toy did. I look at Daire with shocked eyes. "This is so cool."
For the next two hours, I play with Ty and his toys. I was fascinated with all his modern toys and couldn't get enough of them. It seem that I was more interested in playing with them than Ty was.
I was busy playing with Ty with his large blocks when someone tap me on my shoulder. I turn around and smile at Daire. "Bud, it's 7:09 and I think we should start on the kid's dinner," Daire said stroking my hair.
My eyes widen and look at the clock. "Oh crap," I blush and stand up. I rush inside the kitchen and take out some fruit and some cold roasted chicken strips. "Um, Daire can you help me warm up the chicken for me I don't really know-how," I said playing with the end of the kitchen counter. He grins and takes the plate from me and pops the microwave open. "Just used the microwave cause I don't know how to cook either." He said typing two minutes into the microwave.
I nod as I cup the fruit into small pieces. I take a plate out of the cupboard. I put the fruit on the plate and the chicken that had finished in the microwave next to it. I take some pieces of bread and place them beside the other food on his plate.
I pick Ty up and put him in his highchair. He giggles and claps his hands together. Daire walks over and places the plate in front of him. Ty instantly takes the chicken and begins eating.
"When we go to bed I'll order some pizza," I said pushing some hair behind my ear.
Daire nods and walks over to the couch. He turns the tv on with the remote. I didn't join him because I felt the need to watch Ty as he ate his dinner. It didn't take long for Ty to finish his food. But most of it had ended up on the floor.
I pat his dark black hair. "Are you full?" I asked taking him out of his highchair. He giggles as I place him on the floor. I take out some apple juice and pour it into his sippy cup. He does grabby hands as he reaches for the cup.
"Daire," I call out walking towards the blue eye boy.
He turns his head and looks at me.
I blush and look down at my shoes. "Can you start Ty's bath please?" I asked playing with my jacket. He sighs and runs his hand through his hair. "Sure," He mumbles. He stands up and walks down the hall.
I look down and smile at Ty. He smiles at me and holds his hands up. "Hey, are you ready for a bath?" I asked picking him up. I walk inside his car theme bedroom. I place him on the floor and help him out of his duck winter outfit. I pick him up and walk him into the bathroom.
Daire stands up from sitting on the edge of the tub. "Thank you," I mumble as I place Ty inside the bath. I take his Paw Patrol bubble soap and his Spongebob rag. I give him a nice relaxing bath as I have a small but weird conversation. I give him a kiss on the head and take him out of the bathtub. I wrap him in a Spongebob towel and dry him off.
I walk inside Ty's bedroom and dress him in a Winnie the pooh onesie. I give him his pacifier and place him in his crib. I walk over to his blue bookshelf and take out a truck book. I sit on the chair next to his bed and open the book. I read the book out as Ty falls asleep with his blue blanket in hand.
Once I knew for a certainty that he had fallen asleep, I walk over to the air cleaner machine which makes a loud blowing sound. I make sure that Ty was still asleep before walking out of the room and closing the door behind me.
I walk back to the living room where I found Daire watching tv. He smirks at me when I sit down next to him. "Should we order that pizza?" Daire asks handing me the phone. I nod my head as I take the phone and dial the pizza place number.
Two hours later, Daire and I were cuddling on the couch when the door opens. I sit up and look up at Landon and Carter as they walk in with huge smiles on their faces. I smile at them when they look over at me. "Hey, Will," Landon said throwing his keys on the coffee table. "Hey," I said and look around. "Where is Julie?" I asked. Carter looks behind him just as Julie comes in with a bag in her hands.
"Will, I bought you a gift," Julie said rummaging through the pink bag. She pulls out a large white box and hands it to me.
It was a bracelet maker. And it came with all kinds of different types of material to make the bracelets. And instantly my mind went to what kind of bracelet I was going to make Daire.
"Thank you, Julie," I said reading the simple instructions on the back.
Julie smiles and looks around. "Is my baby sleeping," She asked placing the bag next to the couch? She walks down the hall and disappears around the corner.
"Thank you again, Will," Landon said pulling out his wallet. He takes out a 20$ bill and hands it to me. "I hope you become a full-time babysitter for us," He grins at me before walking in the same direction where Julie had gone.
I turn to Daire and smile at him. He smiles back as he stands up. He pulls me up by my wrist and wraps his arms around my waist. "I'm so fucking tired," He mumbles into my hair. I nod my head as I wrap my arms around him.
Carter pulls on my coat. "Come on, Willy," He yawns.
He turns around and walks outside the house. And we follow behind.
