Daire's Pov

I woke up and rub my eyes. I look over beside me and see Willow still asleep. I couldn't' help but smile. I didn't let people see me in my most vulnerable moment. Yet she did. I didn't really let anyone know about my abuse, but I really like Willow so she should know why she can never meet my family that isn't my sisters.

I get out of bed and stretch my arms over my head.

I walk to the kitchen and see Mr.Aburn in nothing but his sweatpants and drinking some coffee out of 'The Best Dad' in the world mug.

"Good morning," I said making him turn around abruptly to me.

"Daire, why are you here?" He asked setting his mug down. I shrug. "I didn't want to go home," I said. He nods his head and drinks his coffee. "It's fine as long as my daughter is still a virgin." He said.

I nod and walk over to the cabinets and grab a bowl. "Don't worry, I would never have sex with her until she's ready," I said grabbing the fruitloops from the counter. I pour myself some cereal and place the bowl on the table. I walk to get some milk and pour it into the bowl.

"You didn't even ask dude," He chuckles to himself.

We sit and chat for a bit and laugh together. This is what imagined having a dad would be like. My mom's boyfriend, Alfred wasn't as bad as my mom or his sons but he wasn't any better. I never had comfortable conversations with him like I was with Graham.

And yes he told me to call him Graham instead of Mr.Aburn.

We hear a groan from the couch. I look over to see Willow's uncle waking up. He groans and mumbles something under his breath.

"Good morning, Steph," Graham said taking a sip from his mug. "Morning," He mumbles. He stands up and walks over to us. "Hello, boy," He addresses me. I nod at him. "Graham do you have any aspirin or shit?" He asked. Graham chuckles and nods his head. "In the bathroom and don't wake my kids." He said glaring at his younger brother that looked way older than him.

"Ugh I feel bad for that boy," Graham said running his hand over his face. "This would be his second divorce and he's an addict. I try to help him as much as I can since I really don't him to turn out like our father. But it's hard you know. Sometimes I just want to strangle him, but I love the guy."

I look around the house and frown. "You don't have any pictures of your wife in here. Isn't she dead?" I asked.

Graham sighs. "I don't like to speak about that hooligan." He said. I frown. "My daughter thinks she died in a car accident when she was 7 that's why she's scared of highways, she thinks the highway killed her mother and I wanna keep it that way."

He doesn't say anything about it further and changes the subject.

After I finished my cereal I head back to Willow's room. I open her door and see she was still asleep. I walk over to her bed and sit down. I look down at her hand and see the ring I gave her. I look down at my hand and see the newest ring to my collection. She was so thoughtful.

I look and at her fish tank, the glowed with colorful lights.

"Willow?" Someone said knocking on her door. Carter pops his head in and his eyes widen. "Oh hey Daire," He said. I look at him with a questioning look. "I normally come make sure Willy is up at this time," He said. I nod and look over to a sleeping Willow.

Carter smiles at me before speaking again, "I'll leave you two," He said shutting the door.

I walk over to the large tank and take some of the fish food and pour it inside the tank. I watch as the fish swarm to get the food. I tap on the tank and smile as the fish swims away.

"Do you like fishes," A small voice asked behind me?

I turn towards Willow and grin at her. "Goodmorning, Bud," I say and look over her sleepy appearance.

"Goodmorning," She yawns and stretches her arms over her head. She walks over to her fish tank and lightly taps on it. "Their names are Gem, Lola, and Vixen," She said taking the bottle of fish food and shaking it. "Sheesh, how much did you feed them, Daire?" She giggles.

She places the bottle down and yawns again. "Did you have breakfast yet," She said biting her lip and fiddling with the strings on her hoodie.

I hated when she bites her and worries me that one day she'll bite it until it bleeds. And what makes it worse is that Willow doesn't do well even at the littlest sight of blood. And when she's throws up I want to throw up.

It's discussing.

"Yeah I had some cereal and a chat with your dad," I told her.

She blushes and turns to her closet. "Do you want some of my brother's clothes?" She asked. I sit on her bed and watch her rummage through her clothes. "Yeah, I need a shower," He said as he ran his hand through my hair. She nods and takes out a shirt from her closet. "I'll be back," She said placing the shirt beside me on the bed and leaving the room.

I sit there for a while and look around her room. I see a small picture book on her drawer that was crowded with girly things. Her entire room was just a mess with a bunch of random girl stuff scattered around.

I walk over to the drawer and pick up the small book. I open it and see a picture of a baby with black hair and hazel brown eyes. The baby was smiling with only a few teeth in her mouth. She wore a cute pink dress and matching ribbons in her midnight black hair.

"Oh, you found my baby book," Willow said walking into the room. "I was cleaning out daddy's closet which is crowded with things and I found my old baby book." She places the clothes on her bed. "Oh and Cater said you didn't return his shirt last time, and if you don't he won't loan you any more clothes," She said giggling but covering her mouth when I glare at her.

"I hate him," I mumble to myself as I take the clothes and head to her bathroom.

I look around the small bathroom and see children's shampoos, soaps, and bath toys. I'm guessing they were Willow's things. I look around the sink for any extra toothbrush around here, but I only found hair ties and makeup brushes. The bathroom looked as if it belong to a teenage girl and her younger sister instead of three adult men and one girl.

I take a quick shower thinking about confronting my mom this time even though I really didn't want to. I look down at the scar on my stomach and trace it. I push back the tears thinking about how I got the scar when I was only 4 years old by my mom when I accidentally broke a glass.

I turn the shower off and grab one of Willow's cartoon character towels and dry myself off.

I get dressed in the outfit Willow's brother landed me and look at myself in the mirror.

I never found myself attractive, I was just as insecure as the next girl. But somehow I ended up and a girl's bed almost every night. But not recently since I just wasn't really that much interested at the moment.

I run my hand through my wet hair and open the mirror cabinet. I smirk when I see a bunch of perspective medication. I take some painkillers pills and pour some in my hand and stuff them in my pocket. They were defiantly gonna come in handy later.

I open the door to the bathroom and hollered out. "Hey, Graham y'all got any extra toothbrushes in here?" I asked. "Um, I think Landon took the last one, sorry man," Carter yells back. "Ight." I close the door and walk to Willow's room where Willow sat on her bed and scrolled through her Ipad.

"You have a lot of bath toys," I said ruffling her messy hair. She laughs and swats my hand away. "I'm going to take a shower now, you don't mind changing my doll's clothes do you?" She asked picking up five creepy dolls that looked like they existed in the 1900s. "They're really shy so try and get to know them and make them feel comfortable." She said handing me the dolls that were in nightgowns.

I look at her as if she was kidding. But the girl was dead ass serious. "Willow, I'm not finna talk to dolls," I said. She pouts and looks down at her feet and plays with her sweater. "But they really wanna meet you and it will mean a lot to me," She said biting her lip. I sigh and roll my eyes. "Fine."

She instantly smiles and hands me five different white dresses. "Talk to them okay." She said. "This is Christine, Gertrude, Paula, Nora, and Louisana," She said pointing to each of the dolls.

"Okay, bye," She said grabbing her clothes and walking out the room.

I sigh and dressed the dumb dolls and lay them neatly on the bed. I sigh and sit down on the bed and rub my temple.

I hear a meow at my feet and see a huge furry grey hairball. I scrunch my nose in disgust. I as softly as possible shove the thing with my foot. The cat screeches and claws at me. I kick him this time but I didn't do much damage to the ugly thing, but the cat just screeches older and runs away.

I sigh again and lay my head in my hands. I've been overly tired lately.

"Are you okay, Daire?" Willow asked placing her hand on my shoulder. I look up at her and couldn't help but smile. "I'm fine, Bud, just a little tired," I said. She smiles at me before looking at her dolls. "They look lovely," She said picking up one, I couldn't remember the thing's name.

"You look even more beautiful," I say looking her over.

She blushes and tucks some of her wet hair behind her ear. "Thank you," She bites her lip. I smirk at her and grab ahold of her waist and twirl her around. She laughs out loud and stumbles into my lap. "I tried really hard on this look and I even wore your necklace," She said showing the D necklace to me. I smile at her. "It looks good on you, Buddy."

Her stomach grumbles and she blushes as she places a hand over it. "I must be really hungry," She said standing up. She picks up her dolls and places them on a chair in the corner. "Let's get some food," She said.

She walks out of the room and I follow behind her.

"Goodmorning everyone," She said sitting on the chair with the pink cushion. "Goodmorning, Willy, you've been in your room all morning with that boy," Graham said placing a plate of eggs and slices of bacon in front of her.

She mumbles a thank you before digging in clearly very hungry.

I look around and don't see anyone around but Steph and Graham. "Where are your sons?" I asked looking at Graham. He runs a hand through his greying black hair. "Levi left with Justina and Carter went to help Landon with his baby's nursery." He said grabbing some keys. "I also need to go. I need to run some errands, I'll be back in an hour or two." He kisses Willow on the temple before leaving the house.

I stuff my hands in my pocket. "I need to head home and grab some stuff from there, wanna come with me?" I asked looking down at my shoes.

Willow gulps down her milk and smiles. "I would love to," She stands up and places her dirty dishes in the sink. "Let me grab my things." She said running towards her room. She comes back with her purse and shoes in her hands. "Let's go," She said grabbing my hand and walking out the door.

I walk over to the car and open the door for her. I help her inside the car and she smiles at me as her face turns red. "Thank you." I walk over to my side and easily slide in. "I also need to give my friend back his car," I said starting the car up. She nods her head and smiles.

"Okay, let's go."
