《His baby girl》12.

Today was my date with Daire. And I couldn't be any happier with that.
But I was having a crisis with what to wear. And my dolls weren't being any help. Sometimes I wish that I had a mom or an older sister that can help me with stuff like these. Or maybe even a friend.
I walk to Levi's room across from mine and knock on his door. But unfortunately for me uncle Steph that's been staying with us since he was going through another divorce and didn't have anywhere else to go. Much to Levi's dismay uncle Steph has been staying in his room on the floor on a blowup mattress that didn't fit well in the room.
"Hi Willy," He said smiling showing his rotting teeth. I loved my uncle but sometimes he scared me with his harsh features. My dad who was 5 years older than Steph looks a decade younger than him.
"Hi uncle Steph," I smile at him. "Is Levi in his room?" I asked. He looks behind him and I can just tell he just woke up. He scratches his balding head. "Ah no sport, but he probably outside where he and Carter been working on that little old motorcycle." He said. I smile at him. "Thank you, Steph." He gives me a thumbs up.
I walk down the hall and to the kitchen where daddy stood there in deep conversation on the phone. He lifts his head when he hears me enter. "I'll call you back," He quickly said before hanging up. "Hey baby," He said.
I raise an eyebrow at his suspicious behavior but shrug it off. "Do you know where Levi is?" I asked.
He takes a red coffee mug and makes himself some coffee. "I do." He said. "Are you looking for him?" I nod my head. He nods and points to the back door. "Back there with Carter." He mumbles as he tries to turn the machine on. "Thank you," I said skipping off to where my brothers were.
"Levi I need to ask you a favor," I said to him as I walk to him. He, Carter, and Carter's best friend Landon were kicking the soccer ball around.
He looks up at me and nods his head. "Can you call Justina I need her help with something," I asked? I bite my lip as I wait for him to respond. He takes out his phone and types something in, he then places it on his ear. "Hey, babe, can you come over Willow needs a favor from you," He spoke into the phone "Uh huh-yeah okay. I know babe. Okay okay, chill." He walks to the far end of the backyard.
I stand there waiting for him to come back.
I look over at Landon. Landon had chocolate skin, curly black and dark brown eyes. He has tattoos all over and a nose piercing. I've known Landon since I was a little girl and I might have had a crush on him in my early teen years. But how can you not he was drop-dead gorgeous and he's a romantic that's why he's already married at his young age of 21 to his middle school sweetheart and they were already expecting their second child together.

"How is Jullie?" I asked Landon. He smiles showing his platinum teeth to me. "She's amazing and she's glowing," He said dreamy-like. I smile at his happiness. "Do you know the gender yet?" I asked. He shakes his head. "We want to wait until the birth, but we're hoping for a girl since we already have our boy." I nod my head. "My fingers are cross for your girl." "Thank you, Will."
I walk over to Betty that laid under to porch in the shade. She had her eyes slightly open. She barks lowly at me and slowly wags her tail. I pet her and kiss her on her head. Daddy said that any day now Betty could die and we would have to accept it. She was already old for her breed. Most Sheltie dogs live to 12 to 13 years and Betty was already 14. But to be honest I wasn't ready to lose the dog I had since I was 2 years old. She was a gift for my mother from daddy. And whenever I looked at Betty I thought of my mom. And Betty can bring a smile to anyone's face. And I wasn't ready to lose her.
"Justina said that she has practice later and wouldn't be able to help you. But she sends her deepest apologies." Levi said.
I frown but it quickly fades. "I understand she's a busy girl."
I walk to my room and open the flower door to my closet. "I can do this without anyone's help," I said through teary eyes. I shake my head and wipe my eyes. I dig through my closet trying hard to find something to wear.
"Willy?" Levi asked from my bedroom door. "Maybe I can help you," He said walking inside my room. I look up at him from the floor of my closet. "Please do," I said wiping my red nose. He smiles and sits down next to me. "What is it you need help with?"
I sniffle and tuck some hair behind my ear. "You remember when I told you that Daire was going to take me on a date." Levi rolls his eyes but nods anyway. "Well today is my date and I don't know what to wear," I bit my lip. Levi stares at me for a second before breaking into laughter. he laughs for a minute which was making me feel silly. "Oh, Willy you have so many nice clothes. Here let's see what will look nice for a date."
He takes out a bunch of outfits until we finally found the right one.
"You look so pretty Willy," Levi said as he braided my black hair. He twirls the loose hair with his fingers. "Even though I hate Daire, I want you to be happy even if you do like the biggest jerk in our school." He kisses my forehead.
I smile at him. "I love you, Levi," I said hugging him. He hugs me back and twirls me around. "I love you too, Willy." I look behind him and at the cat clock on my wall. My eyes widen to see it was already 7:42 and Daire was gonna pick me up at 8.

"What do I do now?" I asked Levi. "Do I give him a gift because if I do I had bought him this ring? I saw it and I thought of Daire immediately and I got myself a matching one." I said showing him my left ring finger. "Cute right?"
"It's nice," He said. H then looks at the ring on my thumb. "I don't remember daddy buying you this," He said looking at the ring Daire had given me long ago. "I've had this ring for almost two months." I smile. "Daire had given it to me one time when I told him I liked it."
"What a romantic," Levi rolls his eyes.
"Let's go downstairs and wait for your boyfriend." Levi grabs my forearm and pulls me down the hall. I gasp and blush hard. "He's not my boyfriend," I said biting on my lip.
I walk over to the couch and sit down there. I take out my phone and play my favorite games trying to ignore daddy and Steph that was arguing in the other room.
Not even 10 minutes later someone knocks on the door. I look over at the men that were in the room. I wasn't allowed to open the door on my own so I waited for anyone else to do it.
"Go open your door, Graham," Steph said glaring at daddy with a red face. Daddy was about to yell something back at him but looks at me and sighed. "We'll finish this conversation later," he grumbles before walking to the door. He opens it and grins at the person who stood there. "Daire my favorite teenage boy that isn't my son."
Daire steps in and my eyes widen at his beautiful appearance.
He smirks when he noticed me gawking at him. "Hi, Willow," He said walking over to me. He pats the top of my head. He bends down so he was face to face with me. "Can you stand up please?" He asked looking me deeply in the eyes.
I blush and stood up just like he asked.
He smiles as he looks me over. "You look beautiful, Bud," He said. He plays with the string of hair. He grins at me and takes something out of his back pocket. "I got this for you because I know you'll like it," He said opening a black velvet box. I gasp at the necklace that was inside.
I frown. "Why is it D and not W?" I asked.
"Because Daire starts with D and I want you to think of whenever you get dressed in the morning," He said taking the necklace out of its box. "Turn around," He said. I smile and turn around like he asked. He moves my heavy thick braid from my back and places the necklace on.
"Thank you," I said looking down at the necklace.
He nods and looks down at his apple watch. "Come on, I have plans for tonight," He said grabbing my hand. "I'll have her back before midnight," He said to daddy who stood in the kitchen watching us. He smiles and gives us a thumbs up. "Have fun and don't get my daughter pregnant."
My eyes widen at his words. "Daddy," I gasp.
"I'm only joking." He chuckles but gives Daire a stern look.
Daire grins and places his hands on my waist. "I won't be getting her pregnant any time soon," Daire said pushing me towards the door.
I hear Levi yell behind us as we close the door and I knew I was gonna get a mouth full when I got back home. But at the moment I could care less.
My eyes widen when I see a black Jeep. I look over at Daire with a surprised face. "Is this your car? I have never seen you drive it." I said walking over to the newly polished car. I admire it with awe. Daire scratches the back of his head. "It's not mine. I mean I have my licenses and shit but I don't own a car my mom won't allow it. It's my friend's."
I raise an eyebrow. "He let you borrow a brand new car?"
He shrugs. "He's my best friend,"
I look at him in awe. Daire Frost has a best friend. Who would have known that someone who hated human interaction had a best friend? I would imagine he was just like Daire. Laid back, quiet, and hot. Maybe that's why Daire interacted with him because he was just like Daire. I couldn't picture Daire's friend any other way.
"Can I meet him?" I asked.
"Maybe one day," He mumbles. He walks over to the passenger side and opens the door. He stares at me. I blush after realizing what he was asking for after an embarrassing amount of time.
"Sorry," I mumble as I try and climb into the car. But after so many tries of trying to get in the large car Daire sighs and wraps his arm around my waist and lifts me up. I blush as I blop in the car. "Thank you," I said not looking him in the eye.
Daire walks to his side of the car and hops in with ease.
He starts up the car and smiles at me. "We're gonna have so much fun tonight."
