《His baby girl》5.

I was sitting in the bathtub and playing with my pink rubber duckies. I also had some strawberry foam soap that made my bath bubbly. My black hair was tied into a high messy bun on top of my head.
I was playing with the bubbles when someone knocked on the bathroom door. "Willy your phone is ringing," Carter said on the other side of the door.
"Oh slide it in the bathroom please," I said.
He does what I said and the ringing phone is slid under the crack of the door. I take my pink towel and wrap it around my body and step out of the bathtub. I bend over and I pick up the phone and see the caller Id as Daire.
I gasp and quickly answer the phone.
"Hello?"
"Willow?" "Bud?" He asked on the other side of the phone.
"Yes?" I asked biting on my lip. I look at myself in the mirror and make sure I was looking fine even though I wasn't actually here.
"I need your help with something," He said with autotune voice.
"Yeah what is it?" I asked. "Um I need your help I'm at this bar and I need someone to come pick me up and I can't call my parents." He responded.
"I can't drive but I can ask Levi," I said biting harder on my lip. "Yeah, yeah that's fine." I smile to myself. "Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes." He hums in response before hanging up the phone.
I smile and quickly drain out the bathtub. I open the door and tiptoe to my room and close the door behind me.
"Girls Daire Frost just asked for my help," I told my dolls. I walk to my closet and pick out some comfy clothes.
"Louisana, remember when I told you that he was my new crush a few months ago," I said to one of my dolls. I place molly beside her sister Angel and brush through her blonde curls with my hand. "Gertrude knows what I'm talking about don't you," I said bopping her button nose.
I feed my goldfishes and put my long dark hair into a high bun. And I grab my purse and walk to Levi's room and knock.
"Levi," I said opening his door.
Levi looks up from his book and smiles at me. "Yeah Will?" He asked putting his bookmark in his book inside the book. I walk over to the bed and accidentally hit Cotton with my foot making him shriek and run away.
"Can you do me a favor?" I asked bouncing on the heel of my foot.
"Yeah sure, what is it?" He asked.
"I-um I need a ride to the bar to pick up a friend," I said biting on my lip. He raises his eyebrows at me. "Um, I guess."

He stands up from his bed and grabs a shirt and his shoes. He grabs my hand and leads me downstairs.
Daddy was outside on the back porch smoking a cigarette. I hated when he smoke. My grandfather and his father had died of lung cancer when I was 12 from smoking so much. But the daddy didn't care. He said it helped him release stress. But it still wasn't good.
Levi takes daddy's car keys off the hook and takes me outside.
I open the door to the backseat and sit in my usual spot. I buckle my seatbelt and smile at Levi as he starts the car and pulls out the driveway. We drive quietly through the neighborhood until Levi pulls the car over.
"Where exactly is this bar your friend claims to be at?" Levi asked turning to look at me.
My eyes widen in realization. There were four different bars in our city. Daddy was a known customer at the bar near our home but kids weren't allowed there. To be exact none of the bars allowed kids under 21 in their bars, so how was Daire in any of them.
I take out my phone and text Daire:
What bar are you in again?
I waited for a few minutes before he replied back.
At LeeRoy's bar.
"He's at Leeroy's Bar," I said looking at Levi.
He nods and pulls away from the curb. He drives for a while until we were on the highway. I clutch onto my seatbelt in fear. I had a fear of highways after a bad accident that happened to me when I was a little girl. I take in deep breaths trying to calm my racing heart.
Levi notices this and gives me a sympathetic look. "It's okay Willy, we'll be off the highway in seconds." He said looking at me through the review mirror.
Finally, after only a few more minutes we pulled into the parking lot of the bar.
I sigh a relief as he parks the car. I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the door. I step out and look around. My eyes widen at the sight.
There were girls that were only in their underwear, men screaming and throwing money in the air. Flashing colors were everywhere giving me a headache. Drunk people were every and they were worse than daddy when he was drunk. They reminded me of uncle Steph even when he wasn't drunk.
"What kind of friends do you have, Willow," Levi said standing behind me.
I look around the very crowded parking lot in search of the goddess. I have to stand on my tippy toes to see over all the people. The harder I look the harder it is to find him. But finally, I see someone sitting on a bench with his head in his hands. The only way I knew it was him was because of his rings. I had memorized his rings earlier that day when he showed them to me.

"I found him, Levi," I said pulling on Levi's grey sweatshirt.
"Daire?" I said unsure. I was standing in front of the boy with Levi behind me in a protecting manner.
The boy lifts his head up and I instantly smile. His eyes were blazing red and he looked a mess. But a hot mess.
"Bud," He smiles at me.
I notice the lighted cigarette in his hands and I frown. Of course, he smoked.
"Are you okay Daire," I slightly bend over? He nods his head and inhales the smoke from his cigarette. "I can't go home," He said. "She's going to kill me," He said running a hand through his messy hair. "She already hates me enough."
I look back at an angry-looking Levi. I knew I was going to get a mouth full later but I didn't care at that moment.
I turn back to Daire. "It's okay you can come home with me until you sober up," I said grabbing onto his arm. He sighs and tries to stand up but stumbles back into the bench. He groans in frustration. "I don't know how that jerk convince me to come here," He said in a low voice.
"Levi please help him," I begged my big brother.
Levi sighs and rolls his eyes.
He walks over and helps Daire up. Daire wraps his arms around Levi's shoulder and mumbles a small word of appreciation. Levi gives me a deadly glare as he drags the heavy boy to the car. I sheepishly smile at him as I follow the boys.
Levi opens the back door and throws Daire inside.
"Get in the front seat," He mumbles to me as he shut the door.
I nod and skip-walk to the front seat. I open the door and sit down preparing myself for the shout I was going to get when he steps in the car.
I watch as Levi takes some deep breaths before hopping into the car. He doesn't say anything as he starts the car and drives away.
He doesn't say anything the whole drive home.
When we reach our manufactured home and pulled into the driveway daddy was standing there with his arms crossed over his chest. Carter was standing next to him in a similar manner. Both having matching expressions of anger on their faces.
I step out of the car and instantly open the door to the backseat. I help Daire out of the car and help him towards the house.
Daddy and Carter's angry expressions turned into shocked ones.
"Levi what the hell is wrong with you," Daddy said taking his eyes from and onto Levi. He snatches the car keys away from him. "And who the hell is this boy?"
"Daddy please don't yell at Levi it's my fault," I said leaving Daire's side and standing between daddy and Levi. "I told him to take me away and find my friend. He didn't want to but I begged him to. And that boy is my friend and he's not feeling well. Please don't ground him, ground me."
Daddy's brown eyes soften. "Oh baby it's okay," He said petting my head. He kisses my temple before glaring at Levi. "But don't let it happen again without my permission." He said and I nodded.
Carter hit the back of Levi's head. "Idiot." I heard him whisper. I frown at his choice of words but when I hear Daire groan my focus instantly turns to him.
"Can you guys help him," I asked daddy? He nods. I knew this was nothing new to him. Both his brothers and his dad were alcoholics. Since daddy was the second son and brother he had to tend to them whenever they couldn't take care of themselves. He was used to doing this kind of stuff since it's the way he was forced to grow up like that.
He grabs Daire by his arms and drags him inside the house.
He places him on the couch. And Daire groans in pain. "Carter gets me some painkillers and some water," He said to my oldest brother. Carter nods and walks into the kitchen. "Willy, go wet a rag and place it on his forehead. The poor kid is burning up."
I nod and do just that.
When I get back Daire was already up drinking his water and eating his painkillers.
I place the wet rag on him while laid back down. "Can someone call my mother and tell her I'm staying with a friend." He whispers. "I don't want her to worry." He said with a dramatic eye roll.
Daddy nods and takes out his phone. "What's her number?" He asked.
Daire mumbles out her number and daddy leave the room to make the call.
Levi and Carter glare at Daire. "Why couldn't you just go home?" Carter asked. Daire sighs and places his arm over his eyes. "My mom would literally kill me if I came home drunk," He said. "She already hates me."
"I know the feeling," Levi mumbles under his breath.
"Your mom said don't worry about it and she'll see you tomorrow after school." Daddy said coming back into the room. He smiles at Daire and looks back at us. "Go take another shower and change into some new clothes and go to bed." He said with his stern father's voice. "And Levi give some of your clothes to him to wear."
Daddy walks over to me and gives me a goodnight kiss.
When everyone leaves I stay behind with Daire.
"You okay?" I asked him.
He nods his head at me. "Okay," I said turning away and walking towards my room.
