《Hot Chocolate》chapter fifty-eight, drive.

I looked around for Camila after I showered, but I couldn't find her anywhere, meaning she's probably already left with Matthew.
I poked my head into the social area, hoping to see her but instead I saw Joey, sprawled across a sofa on his phone. "What's up, T?"
"You seen Camila?"
"Nah. Hey, come look at this." He moved his feet off the sofa, inviting me to sit down. I sighed but gave in, dropping my bag to the floor before sitting next to him.
His tangled blonde hair was pulled back into a man bun, and he pulled the earphones out of his ears, offering me one which I declined.
"Seriously, Joey?"
He showed me his phone, with a video of a tanned, blonde girl, dancing in a pink bikini.
"Wait for it, bro."
"I'm not watching this with you, man-" I turned my head, "we're literally in school."
"So?" He shrugged, still watching her bouncing breasts. "Fucking ads..." he tried to press the 'x' in the corner of the screen, but clicked on a notification.
"Fuck." It brought him to iMessage, showing all his chats with Matthew.
My eyes noticed a few key words, and snatched his phone to read it better. "Hey, give that back."
I read his most recent notification, and automatically understood what he meant.
* Taking her back to my place, you still have my venmo info? ;) *
I scrolled up further, reading down through their conversations about Camila.

*venmo - $20 from Joey*
I clicked onto a blurry, low quality video, that looked like it was filmed through a window. I could make out Camila's front porch, and I knew exactly what it was the second her door opened.
She stepped onto the porch, sitting down with him. They must have been speaking but from the angle and blurriness I couldn't tell what was going on, until they moved closer.
He pulled her face to his, kissing her, but not for long - because she pulled away.

I turned off the video, understanding the whole situation. "You fucking, sick, dickhead." I tossed his phone, letting it fall to the floor with a clatter as I pulled my phone out of my bag and sprinted out of the school and through the parking lot.
I tried to call Camila as I rushed into my car. I hope Matt still lives in the same house as when we were kids. She didn't pick up on the first ring, or the second, so I restored to messages. Maybe she can read the notifications.
My foot was pressed to the floor as I made it out of the school car park and down the street, running red lights and not bothering to notice the speed limits. My mind flooding with thoughts of all the disgusting things he could be doing to her right now, making me hit my steering wheel in anger. "Fuck!"
This is my fault. It's some twisted revenge Matt and Joey have come up with, because they know Camila's the only thing I care about. She's going through this because of me. I should've just told her the truth.
I couldn't fight it, but I knew I didn't want it. Our lips glided together, but it didn't feel right. It didn't feel natural. It never has with Matt. Not like it does with Theo. Like it did with Theo.
I could feel his erection pressed against my thigh, way too close to my bare core. His hand moved down my jaw to my body, cupping my breast. "Matt-" I tried to push him off. "Wait-"
He moved his mouth to my neck, sucking and kissing it, but giving me no pleasure. My hands pressed flat to his bare chest in an attempt to push him off. "Matt, please..."
His hand lowered, finding the hem of my skirt and raising it, letting his hand snake up my thigh. "No, stop."
"I thought you wanted this, Cami..." he started to rock his body, "I thought you wanted me."
"I'm sorry-"

He carried on kissing my neck, making me squirm. "I want you, Camila."
"I'm sorry, I can't." My voice cracked, I squeezed my thighs together and pushed against his torso but that only made him apply more pressure.
"Yes you can, I know you want this too, I've seen the way you look at me." His hand made it closer to my cunt, and I didn't know what to do. I can't stop him. He's stronger and he's not going to stop.
"No, I don't."
My phone vibrated in my pocket, making him pause for a second and gave me an opportunity to push him off. He rolled onto the pile of papers, squashing them all as I reached into my skirt.
*Are you with Matt??*
*Camila get away from him right now.*
*Where are you???*
*It's a bet Camila. Joey put him up to this, he's gonna try to fuck you.*
*Are you at his house yet?*
*I'm on my way.*
*Don't let him touch you.*
My eyes read the messages and the eight missed calls while my heart pumped out of my chest.
"What?" He asked, acting like it was my phone that ruined things and not him.
"How much?" My voice cracked as the tears built up.
"What?"
"How much is Joey paying you?"
"Camila-"
"Don't." I held up my hand to stop him from getting any closer. I picked up my shirt and put it on as fast as possible as I hopped off his bed. "All this time I felt bad. I thought I'd hurt your feelings. I fucking pitied you. That's why I came."
"Please- I called it off I swear- after the first night I couldn't carry on-"
"I don't want to hear it."
I grabbed my bag, rushing down his stairs as he followed behind, trying to put on his pants but almost falling down them, which I wished he did.
I ignored his shouts while I slipped on my shoes. I called my ICE, and Theo picked up before the second ring. "Camila- where are you?"
"Just left his house." I squeaked, rushing out the door and not bothering to close it behind me.
"I'm coming up to his street now..."
"Okay..."
"Are you okay? Did he touch you?" My brain began to comprehend what just happened. "Camila?"
"I'm heading to the corner, can you pick me up there please?"
"Yeah, I'm there, where are you?"
I looked around the street and saw Theo's car driving way too fast, pulling up beside the side walk. I opened the door and sat in beside him, being a lot more calm than he is.
"Are you okay? What happened? Camila?"
"Just drive, please." I rested my head against the window while he turned the car around, making it back to my house.
The Joey part didn't shock me at all, and neither did the fact that Matt agreed to it, but it's the fact that I was so oblivious that hurt. Why did I think he was genuinely interested?
Once again, it was just for my body. That's all they see me as.
"I'm sorry- fuck I'm so sorry, are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
"It's fine, I'm fine."
"Shit." He cursed, running his hands through his hair and turning his head from me, to the road, and back to me every few seconds.
I stayed quiet, closing my eyes a few times, trying not to cry. Why didn't I listen to Theo and Zoe? Fuck- Zoe.
"Can you not tell Zoe about this?"
We pulled up outside of my house. "What?"
"She's going on a date within the next hour or two, I don't want to ruin her day as well. I'll tell her tomorrow, can we just act like it didn't happen."
"Camila you can't just-"
"Please Theo. I'm not asking for much."
"Okay." He sighed. "Tell her when you're ready."
"Thank you."
We hopped out of his car, hooking our bags over our shoulders, and strolling up my front porch's steps. I took a deep breath, putting on a smile as I opened the door.
"Hey Zoe? We're home!"
