《Keeping Lennox》Chapter Twenty Nine

The next month flew by. Cassie was still on cloud nine about being called mama. I was too.

Allie was arrested and was kicked out of school. Her and Cade are history. We found that out when we made it back.

Today was graduation day. It had finally arrived. Cassie was valedictorian, and I was salutatorian. Crazy we did that even through everything.

We got in line and the procession began.

I gave my speech and looked to Cassie. I smiled as I introduced her. She walked up and began.

My speech was slightly similar to hers. We had been through the same things this year.

I finished and went to my chair. Our names were called one by one. Forty five minutes later, we threw our caps in the air. We were dismissed, and I turned to see Cassie running to my arms. I picked her up and spun her around.

"We did it," she squealed. "We actually did it."

My mom came up with our squirming five month old. Lennox about dived into our arms.

"Congrats, guys," my mom was crying.

"Ah, mom," I smiled. "Don't cry. You still have one more baby. Winter still has a few years."

"I know," she said drying her eyes. "I am just happy for you. You two have been through so much crap, and you still managed to graduate as the top two in the class."

I squeezed Cassie. "I couldn't have done it without her."

I leaned down and claimed her lips.

Lennox giggled between us. We laughed and kissed her cheeks. Life was amazing.
