For the rest of the afternoon, Cassie attempted to avoid eye contact with me. I would notice her staring, and when I looked up, she immediately turned her head. I could tell she was still embarrassed by the whole Kayla and Michael encounter.

I happened to think she was very cute when she was embarrassed. Wait, what I am I thinking?

Wade kept staring at me during class. I knew he was. Even when I wasn't looking, I could feel his gaze on me. Michael's question still had me going. Why couldn't I just admit my feeling for Wade? The worst he could do is turn me down.

I decided against it, but I did wonder what it would be like if Wade and I were to date. We would be a family. Me, him, and Lennox.

No, no, no. This is so wrong. I shouldn't be thinking about us as a couple.

Crap, there is the bell. That means, it is time to go home.

And I am riding in the car with Wade. What am I doing?

Wade Bentley is going to get it. I know he came over to my house with that girl. And I know my mom invited them. He got to see Lennox. This was not part of the plan. He can't see her when he pleases. This is my daughter. I can make my own choices for her. My mother can't do this to me.

I am glad that I decided to put a spy out in my yard. Wade Bentley and his new girlfriend will never set foot in this house again.
