The wind blew lightly, causing the leaves to shake and dance about, not going far. Among the combined supernatural and human world...drama itched to cover every inch of the place...one thing stopping it from destroying everything. Love.

No one has heard from Anita in months, worried and fear washed over the nightshade family. Adrian drowned himself in his football practices, their father in his work. Little Amanda didn't know what to do and was tired of the arguments between her brother and her father. Some nights they would find her fast asleep in the bed of her older sister, dried tears on her little cheeks, thumb between her lips.

Olivia was still traumatized by the events that played out. Her best friend was in a dead like coma for more than a week or two. She found out about another world and that her best friends were in a weird connection with Wolves, and the cherry to the cupcake....her best friend is missing and no one is doing anything to find her, and she can't even go to the police.

Ebony still sees the thirst of blood raging in Xavier's eyes when she last saw him. The way his breath grew heavy, his canines almost coming out at full form. She was almost used to the sight because of Thompson James river, her ate. But nothing compared to what she saw of Xavier. She still hesitate to come over there, but only because she knows he is hurting and the man she is slowly growing to love is there.

While at the night residence,

Emily, Shona, Charlie, and Riley all sat in the kitchen, Emily munching on snacks loudly not giving a care in the world. They knew up stairs was there Luna and there alpha. Riley and Charlie tried to stay up to hear any yelling or screaming, but heard none which scared them even more.

"Should we go check on them?" Charlie whispered, stroking his mates hair. Everyone glanced at him. " I mean, we're in the second house and it's not like we're gonna disturb much people."

"Sure Charlie, why don't we disturb our ALPHA AND LUNA INSTEAD?!" Riley growled, banging his fist against the wooden table, creating a crack down the middle. It was a surprise it didn't break in half from the force, and Emily had to touch her mates arms kissing his shoulders while trying to savor the chocolate chip cookies in her mouth.

No one said a word and soon enough they heard footsteps retreating towards them. It was Thompson and Victoria. The girls were shocked to see her, since she hasn't been around since Anita and Xavier first gotten together.

"Vic! Thank god your here. We missed you!" Emily and Shona rushed towards her and gave her a big hug. Victoria laughed and hugged them back. " just here checking on my dear old friend big bad wolf. Heard a lot of drama has Gone about since I left."

They nodded and she sighed. " so let me get this straight, Anita..the little human is actually a were wolf because of her mother who disappears when she was 11 who is a tuLly a werewolf, Xavier gets drugged and supposedly has sex with Ryan that girl I never liked, and when aniela got out of that deadly coma of hers because of some poison, she finds out about the little sleepover with Xavier also to find out Ryan was holding Xavier's offspring.....then to ALSO find out it was all a lie, but aniela was already gone for a few months just to come back because of her heat....am I missing anything?"

Thompson blinked. "The two of them is upstairs right now and we haven't heard anything since last night...."

Victoria chuckled, then laughed. "Well isn't this a good way to bring together your alpha and Luna...." She sighs.

"Xavier appearantly found the poison Ryan drugged him with. It has a witch marking, and I thought maybe you can figure it out. " Thompson said to Victoria.

"I can try, I had ,y few shares of witchery. Where is it?"

Everyone grew silent. Victoria placed her hands on her cocked hips. "Well?"

"It's with Xavier..." Riley whispered.

Victoria rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth. "Well great. Any more things you need to throw on me?"

"Ryan is dead."

Anita's POV:

The feeling of his thumb making circles on my thighs was soothing. The heat was still there but wasn't too much that I couldn't handle. Plus being in my only antidote arms was really helping the whole situation. I still felt a barrier between our love, and the mate bound I know could feel 100 percent was stronger than ever...yet it was lacking something.

The sound of his heart beat was relaxing. The scent of his peppermint breathe from brushing his teeth not a few minutes ago. The blazing sun created a halo around us, as if this little room was to protect us from all harm and evil. But it wasn't always going to be like that. I knew soon we would have to face reality. Face the thousands of questions, figure out the mysteries...everything that is unanswered.

I sighed.

"Sebastian asked for you."

I blinked. I felt horrible forgetting all about that adorable little boy.

"How is he?"

"He's big. Growing up fast. Might be past your height if I'm specific." I scoffed and nudged his arms. He chuckled and he room grew quiet again.

"I'm planning on making a trip to see the witch who created my poison....maybe she can reveal to me what really went down that night..."

Just thinking about the fact that he almost slept with another woman...

"I think that's a good idea." What else could I say? This was still weird, and just...so exhausting. I just found out I'm a fucking werewolf! I have no idea about anything and I just found out about my mother and ...it was just too much for me to handle in just little bit of time. But...I couldn't ignore the curiousity of me wanting to find out as well.

"Maybe...you could go with me? I will bring along Thompson and Victoria"

I turned to look up at him. His 5 o'clock shadow trimmed down, his eyes hooded and dark. He looked tired too, but I didn't comment. " Victoria?"

He nodded, wrapping a piece of my hair around his finger. " the girl who helped explain the mating thing with you,"

I remembered, she explained everything after I saw Artemis almost 'kill' his baby brother.

That was when everything was weird but it was much better than this whole situation.

"Yeah I remember....I wanna go. I would like to know everything...maybe I can find out why I was choose for your mate."

"Ani-"

I cut him off, "I know I know, some moon goddess blah blah blah. I just want answers for myself. I still can't wrap my mind around all of this. I mean come on. What's next vampires? Giants, fairies...ooh talking trees?"

I crawled off from the bed already missing his touch. I don't know if this was the mate or me, but this is really irritating. " I just wanna know for myse,f, without anyone who is related or with you in any sort of way telling me."

He was silent which made me look at him to see him staring back at me.

" ok my love, if that is what you want, then so be it." His tone was a bit rough and I flinched. He got up and headed into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. I soon heard the shower turn on and I sat on the edge of the bed.

Can I really forgive him?

Even after we prove his innocence in all of this sex shit...what if I'm not ready? I had a life before I met him at that college party...

But if I never met him, I wouldn't have known of his world...never understood why my mother left..or even see her again. Everything happens for a reason, even if it's something you don't like. Every harm darkness has a light...

I looked at the closed bathroom door. I can't take back what has happened. I can't re do anything, and even if I want too, I wouldn't change anything, Artemis is apart of me now, physically and mentally. He will become my world if he isn't already. I love him. And I have to stay by his side through all of this. It's was a true Luna really is about. That much I learnt from all of this drama.

I stood up, pulling the shirt from my body, I wiggled out of my undergarments and opened the door slowly. The steam hit my face and the scent of manly body wash, like old spices filled my nose. So,etching in me stirred and I brought back the shower curtain, stepping in, feeling the hot water droplets touch my body, his back was defined, covered in tattoos none the less.

His ass had a dimple in them, the back of his thighs was well muscular. As I placed my arms around his waist and kissed his back, I felt him tense only to slowly relax to my touch, I heard a soft sigh along with a groan as he turned around and looked down at me, his gaze was hot and unbearable. I didn't waste a second standing on my toes and waiting for him to dip his head and place those lips of his against mines.

And he didn't disappoint.
