《Little Bite Luna》*New kid*

My weekend couldn't get any worse.
Amanda had a Bug Virus we have no idea where she gotten, Adrian is using the car to go to his football practices and my dad is busy with surgeries.
I was all alone, wandering my house when I saw a pack of Oreo's on top of the fridge, far back and I knew Adrian tried to hide it from me.
I smirked and grabbed the chair and stepped on it, but I still couldn't reach. I jumped down and got a big book and tired again, but still couldn't reach.
How tall is this fridge? 8ft!
I groaned and frowned, staring at the pack of my favorite cookies.
It was as if I was addicted to them.
I might need to go to OAC.
Oreo Addiction Center.
I grabbed the broom behind the kitchen door and unscrewed the brush, using the pole to get the pack.
It was almost to the edge when I heard a voice.
"What are you doing?"
I screamed, the pack of cookies landing straight on my face, the broom stick tumbling down.
I stared at the broken pieces of cookies on the ground, staring up at me shaking there white heads.
'I was at piece before your hungry ass tried and eat me. And look what happened.' They screamed at me shaking there brown fist. I felt like crying.
I turned to Amanda and she was looking at the cookies then at me. "What are you doing out of bed? I thought you were sick?"
"I was. But I got hungry. When I saw you wasn't in your room I went downstairs."
She blinked then looked at the fridge. "Your blocking the freezer."
"What's in the freezer that you want?"
"Your too short, you won't be able to get it." She dead paned.
I glared at her and jumped off the stack of books and chair.
"Fine. While your at it Clean this mess."
"Anita!"
I covered my ears and walked up the stairs, and into my room.
"Your phone was buzzing!" I heard her tiny voice scream.
I rolled my eyes but searched for my phone.
My room was a mess. A tornado, hurricane and tsunami went through it.
I hate cleaning my room, but then again I hate seeing mess.
Clothes were scattered on the ground, some hanging from the dresser that draws were half opened.

My homework papers were in a mess, unorganized as they sat under the desk light by my laptop I got from Tio last two Christmas ago.
My closet- Don't get me started- Was a mess, waiting to be cleaned and my bed never made in 3 weeks.
I Started getting frustrated when I couldn't find my phone.
I crawled under my bed and moved aside bra's and shirts searching for the rectangle shit.
Once I found it I stayed under my bed and unlocked my phone.
My screen was with Amanda, Adrian and I eating cake. Amanda was in the middle, it was her 4th birthday and she had cake smashed on her nose. Adrian had cake in his hair laughing and I was glaring at him because he scattered The chocolate cake ALL OVER MY FACE!
I smiled at the memory and scrolled through my notifications.
Besides the missed calls and messages from my friends, One notification caught my attention.
Buckberry High: ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! THERE HAS BEEN A INCIDENT TAKE PLACED AT THE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY NIGHT AT 10:34PM. WE HAVE REASONS TO BELIEVE IT WAS ONE OF OUR STUDENTS. SINCE THE DAMAGE IS VERY HIGH AND IS DONE TO THE SENIOR BUILDING'S WE ARE SORRY TO INFORM YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING SCHOOL ON MONDAY MORNING-
I stopped reading and started dancing under my bed, hitting my head on the board. My eyes continued to scan the message
-SCHOOL NEAR OUR AREAS HAVE OFFERED TO WELCOME OUR STUDENTS WITH OPEN ARMS. SENIORS! YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHERS WILL SEND YOU THE SCHOOL YOU WILL BE ATTENDING. WE HAVE ALREADY NOTIFIED YOUR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS. WE EXPECT OUR BEABERS TO BEHAVE RESPECTFULLY SUCH AS IT IS NOT OUR SCHOOL.
I frowned, and quickly refreshed my screen searching for a email from my homeroom teachers.
I wonder which school I have to go to?
When I saw a Email from my teacher I quickly tapped on it and scanned through the words.
TO: MRS. GARRET HOMEROOM CLASS

I quickly dialed the group chat number and all my friends picked up.
"Oh my god Anita! Did you hear?" Liv screamed. I pushed the phone away from my ears and frowned.
"I don't think I could after that scream you pulled." I said.
I could picture her rolling her eyes. "Whatever. Which school you going too?"
"Greenforest high. You?"
"Dawn Highschool. Aw man, I was hoping to attend the same school as you."
"What about you Ebony?"
"Hill." She murmured. I shook my head. Ebony was always the quiet one. She rarely spoke and when she did, we had to strain to hear her. It was always like this from the beginning, but we gotten used to it.
I was the loud and wild one as my friends put it, Liv was the flirtatious and party type while Ebony was the quiet yet beautiful girl.
"So we are all going different highschools now." I whispered.
"Yep." Liv said with a full mouth. "Who did it?"
"I bet it was Daniel." I responded shaking my head. Daniel was always up to mischief and this time he went over board. He could of at least did it to the Freshman's as a prank or something. But I knew why he targeted the Seniors. It's our last year and he wanted to push our principle over the edge some more.
Our school wasn't a regular High School.
Instead of the grades in one building, we each had our own buildings, yet everything was connected to one. Think of it as a Hospital. Different sections but you have to go to one place to get certain things.
"So we will all be New kids Tomorrow." Ebony said. I was picturing her reading a book while talking to us.
"Ugh I hate being the New kid." Liv whined. I rolled my eyes.
"You'll be fine. I heard there some hot guys there at Dawn."
I knew that would of spiked her interest. "Really? Well then, let me be the best New kid yet!"
And this my friends our my friends.
~
I wasn't excited. Hell I was far from excited.
I stared at the huge building before me, kids walking across the lawn as if they weren't at school, laughing and chattering away.
I felt my shoulders dip and I looked up too see Adrian smirking. "I miss Highschool."
Ah, Adrian graduated Senior year last year and was now in college. He still hasn't figured what he wanted to be and was glad dad wasn't the type of parent who forced there kids to follow in the same path line. I for sure wasn't going to be no doctor. Oh hell to the no.
All those flesh and hearts you have to hold and pass along. Ugh.
Don't get me wrong I love the idea of saving people, but what about if you don't save them? That weighs on your shoulder for the rest of your life and it hurts to tell there loved ones they didn't make it.
I don't know how dad did it. But if he got through with mom disappearing I am sure he could get through that.
"Unique choice of clothing." Adrian commented, glancing at me.
I was wearing my favorite Black skinny jeans, My Black and White Vans that covered my ankles and My Blue Hoodie. If I lifted my arms up you could see my belly button so I noted to myself to keep my hands down at all times.
My fingers wrapped around the straps of my bag and I slouched.
Adrian ruffled my hair and I swatted his hands away. "Your messing up my hair D!"
"Oh shush, you don't care about those stuff anyways."
He was right about that. I don't care if my hair was tangled or not tangled. Straight or curly. Looking like a bird nest or neat.
I don't care for makeup and I don't care for how I look or what clothes I have on and if it was up to date with this years fashion.
I didn't give two shits.
And I wasn't about to give any shits about being the kid who cares what others think.
I straightened my posture, though it didn't make a difference and stepped onto the side walk away from the car.
"Fix your hair!" Adrian called out.
I rolled my eyes and patted my hair down. I moved it off my shoulders so It could fall on my back and gave him the finger.
"Love you too." He yelled.
I made my way down the path and up the stairs, ignoring the curious looks from the students.
I took one deep breath before opening the tall blue doors.
Welp, Here goes becoming the New kid.

She was a young woman who knew what she wanted, and to her, there was nothing wrong with that. She desired the husband, children, dates, random gifts, trips, family outings, and so on.Some would say the reason she can't keep a man is because her standards are high. Which is a ridiculous take. Out of the few men she has dealt with, she lets them know beforehand what she wants, and it's not her fault that they choose to lead her on under the impression that they wanted the same thing.
