"Alex, look at me like that one more time and the pack's chief doctor would have a black eye tomorrow." The laugh in the end, killed my dead serious threat and glare.

"Oh that's me." Alex laughed along with me, his hands up in fake surrender.

The welcome to the hospital this morning had been flabbergasting. The grins and smiles were just thrown my way, almost everyone I walked past had their eyes on me.

"Chin up sweetie!" Heera commanded.

I walked into my office only to be greeted by Alex. The silly chief doctor whose been giving me that 'I know what you did' look my way for the hundredth time.

"Oh. My. God!" I jumped when I heard a familiar voice and loud laughter. Amaya, Lily and Tania. What on earth are these girls doing here? Each one of them holding helium balloons and a bunch of flowers. I had already grabbed enough attention and now these three had made quite an entrance. Lily carried the biggest balloon before popping it over my head. Confetti! The room was covered in rose gold confetti.

"Hi, you guys?" I greeted them with hugs, giving them questioning looks.

"Here you go Mia." Tania handed me a bag, filled bath bombs, body lotion and so many other pampering essentials.

"What's going on?" I looked at them again.

"Look at her all glowing up after the Alpha has claimed her. Finally Mia." Amaya said.

"So happy for you darling." Lily smiled.

My jaw dropped, as I stared at these three looking at me with goofy grins.

"How?" I managed to squeak out. Trying to ask them how they found out.

"How? What?" Lily asked.

"Oh about how we found out?" Tania spoke up. "From everyone at the hospital of course!" She shrugged.

"The news is just spreading like wildfire Mia." Amaya popped a champagne bottle. "Luna Catherine and Penny are cooking up a feast tonight." She handed sparkly champagne glasses to the girls.

"I shouldn't be drinking now Amaya." Lily gladly accepted the flute from her. Holding onto two glasses now. These girls were unbelievable.

"So tonight, you're walking into the pack house with the Alpha, hand in hand! Though everyone knows already, you're making it official to the pack and the neighbouring ones. GAH! I'm so excited!" Amaya howled, whilst the other two joined in.

I gestured them to be quiet.

Tania narrowed her eyes at me, gently moving my dress' neckline. "He needs to mark you as soon as possible Mia."

"Oh yes, all these feelings just get so much better after the marking." Lily hummed dreamily.

"Yeah, planning on doing that after we move in together."

"When?" The three chorused.

"Soon!" I smiled.

Bidding goodbye to the girls, my phone buzzed and it was Penny. Her voice held excitement and so much love. She cried, laughed, and screamed all throughout the conversation. Finally asking me what I wanted to eat at the pack house tonight. I had nothing specific in mind, plus whatever Penny cooks tasted divine. So I asked her to surprise me.

Finally my day at the hospital was over and Lincoln was parked outside, waiting for me. With my handbag on my shoulder, three gift bags and helium balloons in my hand, I hugged the flower bouquet, lastly grabbing the bottle of champagne while walking out. Lincoln stepped out of the car with a curious gaze, while Luke opened the door to place all of it into the backseat.

"What's this on your head?" Lincoln picked a confetti, inspecting it.

"Long story." I huffed, giving Luke the final bag. "Thanks Luke."

"Let's take this off you too." Lincoln removed my heavy handbag off my shoulder. He opened the passenger door making me sit, placing the bag beside my legs. I watched as Lincoln nodded at Luke, before finding his way to the driver's seat.

"So?" He questioned, starting the engine.

"Yeah so..." I told him everything that happened since I entered the hospital.

"They accept you and love you already Mia." He kissed my hand.

It was true. It felt good to be loved by my mate and the whole pack. I was thankful to the moon goddess for giving me more than what I asked for. The road to Lincoln's heart was rocky, but once I entered into it. Everything is blissful. Just right.

"As you already know, there's a dinner at the pack house tonight. Dad has invited members from the neighbouring packs too." He chuckled.

"That's gonna be a lot of people Lincoln."

"Yeah, they've managed to pull it off in just hours. I'm not the one for dinner gatherings but tonight, I'm honestly excited."

"Why?" I teased knowing exactly what he meant. Riling Lincoln up these days has been my favourite thing to do. Heera snickered.

Lincoln rolled his eyes. "Because I get to take you with me your Majesty."

"Oh right." I laughed.

I wore my backless ivory silk slip dress with thin straps and gold ankle strap heels. My hair in beach waves. Applying the final touches of my makeup, and a glance in the mirror I was ready to go.

Lincoln stood beside his car, looking handsome as ever. His hair perfectly styled. He wore a black shirt with dark dress pants and finished the look with his shiny Rolex. With his jaw clenched, Lincoln stared at nothing in particular. He couldn't even recognize my presence. Mind linking someone perhaps. When I was a few feet away, his attention fell on me. In an instance his pupils dilated.

"Oh the love hormones." Heera purred.

"Hey beautiful." We held hands after a little French kiss. He guided me to his car, opening the door. I turned around to take my seat. Suddenly Lincoln's rough hands held my bare hips, through my backless dress. He pulled me to his hard chest, his lips on my nape. "What the fuck baby?" He spoke huskily.

"What?" I asked my voice being low almost like a whimper, as he trailed from my nape to my collar bone. My head fell back to his shoulder.

"You're killing me with this dress. How am I going to keep my hands off you all night." He softly bit the soft skin above my collar bone. "I just wanna mark you right now." I felt his canines graze my skin. With a gasp I bit my lip, no one would complain if he marks me now. But wait! Lincoln is going to make me wet again and that leads to all the other naughty things we have been doing.

Unfortunately right now, the whole pack is waiting for us.

"Lincoln, we're late already." I sighed, trying to calm myself from the excitement he's causing.

"You're right." He gave me a hard kiss on the cheek before letting me into the car.

"So fucking gorgeous." With one last look at me, he drove off.

Luna Catherine, accompanied me while introducing me to the other Lunas present today and few of her friends and acquaintances. Lincoln walked by me for about an hour, then excused himself, saying he'd be back or I could go upstairs to the outdoor terrace to find him. I could understand why, since most of Cathy's closest people were women. And Lincoln clearly wasn't the one to talk.

"You look lovely Amelia." Luna Anna from the Silver Moon Pack spoke. "I've seen Alpha Lincoln with that lady. You know who!" She whispered rolling her eyes. "Such a spoiled brat, nothing worthy of being Luna. I was honestly worried for the future of the Blood Hunters Pack if she was to become Luna." She sighed. "Thankfully you arrived at the right time, in fact Alpha Lincoln seems like a different person after you." Even Luna Catherine nodded at her words. "More kind and approachable. You're gonna make a wonderful Luna, my dear."

I was now seated with the girls after meeting up with my parents for a bit. They seemed busy with their own friends. Lincoln was nowhere to be seen, so was Tyler and Matt.

"You seem bored." Tania mumbled.

"No, I'm fine." I straightened my posture. But she was right though, I could've just fallen asleep on the table.

She giggled, "I miss Tyler. Let's go find them. Come on."

Tania walked up the stairs and went past Lincoln's office and all the other rooms on that floor till she reached an open terrace. Lincoln, Tyler and Matt were in an intense conversation. None of them noticed our arrival.

"We'll give him what he wants Linc." Tyler said.

"We'll give him the fucking carcass." Matt spit out.

"For all I know, she's harmful if she escapes him." Lincoln frowned.

"He's been looking to kill her brother and her for years now. Benjamin is gone, let's just hand Sarah over to him. She can't escape him Linc." Tyler informed.

Tania and I exchanged looks, clearly hearing every single word these men spoke. They sound absolutely cold and ruthless, it was scary.

"There she is!" Matt's voice boomed, the men had their attention on us now. Well, I had Lincoln's and Tania had Tyler's. Their eyes held love and a genuine smile on their lips, a quick change in their moods of course.

Tania hopped to her mate, while Matt approached me. Lincoln still stood where he was, eyeing me the whole time. I took Matt's hand as I stepped into the terrace. A beautiful garden atmosphere.

"Leandra!" Matt called out. Soon a girl in golden hair appeared, with ocean blue eyes. She had a kind smile as she came closer.

"Luna." She greeted me before pulling me into a hug. Leandra was beautiful.

"Hi! Please call me Mia." She nodded.

"Its very nice to finally meet you Mia."

"It's nice meeting you too Leandra."

She stepped back into Matt's arms. "Mom!" I heard a pup screech. Our eyes flew to the source when a blonde little boy ran towards Leandra, to my surprise another identical little boy followed him.

"Your little ones?" I smiled at the cute boys.

"Yes, Enzo and Ezekiel." Their mother said, while both of them waved at me.

Matt and Leandra had twin pups. The boys pulled their parents, asking them to come play. Excusing themselves from me, Matt picked both the boys in his arms chasing their mother, making them laugh and Leandra giggle. The family was a beautiful sight.

I watched as they played and laughed together, until a pair of hands held my waist from behind. Relaxing at Lincoln's touch, I leaned on his chest. We watched Matt's family in silence.

"That would be us one day."

"It will." I smiled.
