Lincoln Hunters

It's been a week of travelling to neighbouring packs and fixing their problems with rogues that have been troubling them with their daily lives. These useless imbeciles can't leave reposeful packs alone, they just like to get themselves killed by causing unwanted disturbance. Since I had taken control over the Blood Hunters Pack, we haven't yet come across any rogue attacks and I knew one thing for sure is that no rogue would leave my pack... alive. With heavy guards patrolling the borders and skillfully trained warriors all over the pack, rogues can't stand a chance to survive. If I by any chance there still happens to be a rogue inside our borders, I won't hesitate to rip it's head apart.

Returning home, Benjamin rode with me in my car, as Matt and Tyler followed us in a separate vehicle.

Tapping away on the phone to send some important emails regarding the family business we ran, I noticed from my side eye Benjamin chuckling at his phone. I turned towards him and raised an eyebrow. He instantly morphed his smile, "it's Nina, she's tried cooking for me and has burnt the stew. She can't stop bawling her eyes out." He laughed quietly showing me a picture of a black burnt pot. Nina was Benjamin's mate, they met a few months ago during one of our visits to the Canadian packs. I glanced at the photo with a half smile and went back to my email.

"Sarah can't wait to see you Linc." I heard Benjamin speak. Looking up at him, I noticed him smiling at me. He was definitely the happiest when he found out that I asked Sarah to be my girlfriend.

"Same." I replied with a smirk.

Returning to the pack felt good indeed better than how I normally would feel after a long tour. Kai on the other hand has been on alert as well which was very strange. That's when I realized maybe he's finally warming up towards Sarah. Is he excited that we finally get to see her after a week. Sighing with my thoughts I laid back on the leather seat loosening up a few buttons on my shirt.

As soon as the cars parked in front of the mansion, a few guards arrived to our doors and the rest helped take out the bags. Benjamin, Matt and Tyler directly headed to the training grounds. And I walked into my office, poured myself a small glass of whiskey. Sipping on my drink I watched as the warriors trained through the tall windows of the office. There were hundreds of them, all training with complete focus and sync.

Sensing a strong scent of lavender, I smiled knowing who tried to sneak into my office without my permission. Pretending like I didn't notice anything, still faced the window when two hands glided around my torso. Kai let out silent growl and blocked me out. Just when I thought he was beginning to like her. I sighed at his reaction but faked a smile as I turned towards my temptress. She looked ravishing, her eyes looking up at me with so much hunger and hands riding up and down my exposed chest. I couldn't help but relax at her touch, Sarah knew what exactly she had to do to release my tension.

"I missed you so much Linc." She purred huskily. Turning me on that instant. Placing the glass on the wooden desk, I gave her my full attention, taking in her appearance.

"Where do you think you're going looking like that huh?" I questioned checking out her revealing outfit.

"Nowhere, I went shopping yesterday and the girls said I would look good in it so I bought it." She replied while drawing circles on my chest and plastering her body on me to feel every part of her. I traced my fingers on her bare back and as it ended near her ass I gave it a light pat.

"Hmm you do look quite seductive..." I dragged.

"That's the point, isn't it?" She looked up at me with those fuck me eyes.

Without wasting another second I took her lips in mine as she moaned for more.

"Ah Linc..." Sarah spoke breathlessly as I left her lips and trailed kisses down to the jaw, neck and collarbone. She instantly leaned sideways and showed me her neck and shoulder which I hungrily kissed and sucked on the spot where someday I will mark her. The only reason why I haven't marked Sarah yet was because of Kai, I waited for the day when he would accept her as my other half. I knew for sure that my wolf wouldn't be pleased if I had to mark someone who wasn't my mate. Sadly Kai has to come to terms with the fact that Sarah will be the future Luna of the Blood Hunters Pack.

"Mate is out there somewhere, I will never accept a slut who only sees us as a ladder to hierarchy or a money tree." Kai began pacing.

"You don't fucking say that at my girlfriend." I growled back at him.

"Linc? Hey.. You zoned out.." Sarah spoke waving her hands in front of me.

"Yeah.." I rubbed my temple, " how about we take this to the bedroom?" I asked.

"Sure." She replied while pulling my hand and leading me to her room.

"Are you feeling better my Alpha?" Sarah snuggled closer to me after having a much needed intercourse.

"Better than I've ever been my love." I stroked her cheek. She leaned into my touch.

In swift move, Sarah laid on top of me and kissed me so much passion, it took me a second to respond. Grabbing her waist I flipped us over, so that I was now on top of her.

"Have you forgotten whose in charge?" I smirk before continuing to kiss the living daylights out of her. Leaving my girl breathless I lay beside her waiting for her to catch her breath.

"Babe.." she called.

"Hmm?"

"There's an auction happening tonight and I would like you to come with me. They're auctioning a few rare pieces of jewelry. We might be able to find something unique." Her eyes gleamed with excitement.

I sighed, "Sarah you know I'm back after a week so tonight I have to go check the borders and also speak to a few of the elders." I watched her frown since I declined. "But you know what..." I grabbed my wallet and pulled out a gold card and handed it to her, "keep it and buy whatever you want. It's yours from now on." I kissed her forehead as she squealed with joy. Mum always had one of my bank cards and I had given one to Sarah now, it felt good pampering and treating the most special ladies in my life. Pushing the sheets away I walked to the bathroom.

"Alpha, so far we haven't tracked any unfamiliar movement or scents around the borders." Matt informed me on behalf of all the patrolling guards. We stood on top of one of the towers, viewing the surroundings. Everything seemed calm and quiet.

"That's good to hear but since our neighbouring packs have had several unexpected attacks, we have to be cautious. The rogues can come out of no where, make sure the guards are always on alert. I can't take a chance. Understood?"

"Yes Alpha!"

Climbing down the stairs I walked past a few young warriors, who bowed down to show respect. I came to an abrupt stop when I spotted David Lovecraft, he was one of dad's loyal and best warriors. Since he's aged, he's stepped down from his duties and trains the younger warriors now.

"Mr. Lovecraft." I spoke, grabbing his attention.

He spun around in an instance, "Alpha Lincoln." He bowed with a slight smile.

"Please, it's Lincoln for you sir." I patted his shoulder. "I've heard you're training the warriors well. Keep up the good work."

"Yes Al.. Lincoln." He nodded.

"Where's your mate?" I asked, David and his mate Cassandra were always a lovely couple to look at, even during gatherings you could see how much he loved his mate. They always seemed to be together.

He chuckled, "she's at home, well my daughter has come back as a trainee doctor, to the pack hospital. So Cassie stayed back with Amelia."

At the mention of his daughter's name Kai perked his ears up with curiosity. Strange.

After a small talk with him, I headed back to meet the elders.

We had two elders left in our pack, Anthea and Ragnar. The members of the pack go to them regarding many things, we had belief in them that they were the closest to the moon goddess. They held the wisdom and the right solutions to plenty of our problems. The elders also helped in healing werewolves using their aged preserved herbs, even when the doctors gave up on them. It was believed that it only happened because of their closeness to the goddess herself.
