《The Queen's everything gxg》Chapter 39

Yvonne stabbed Eli twice and shoved him to the ground and tried to flee. Aerilyn ran over to her brother whilst Solenne caught Yvonne. It was stupid to try and outrun a vampire. Yvonne pulled a sword out on Solenne and they began to fight.
She just laughed at Aerilyn's crazy aunt.
Aerilyn held her brother has he breathed out his last breaths, she cried as she held him in her arms. "It's okay" he told her. "I'm sorry, Solenne...she will look after you" were his last words before he went limp.
There was nothing they could do. She gently closed his eyes and sobbed. Aerilyn looked around for Solenne in a panic, only to see her engaged with her aunt.
The Queen was practically dancing around Yvonne.
Solenne knocked the sword out of Yvonne's hand with ease. "That dagger coated with poison in your pocket will do very little" the vampire Queen taunted her. She wasn't sure if Aerilyn wanted her as a prisoner or for her to kill her, but nevertheless it was her choice.
Yvonne pulled the dagger out anyway and swung for her but missed the first time.
Solenne tripped Yvonne up and stood next to her.
Solenne could feel Aerilyn's eyes on her, "it's your choice pet"
"Finish her" Aerilyn saw no point in keeping her alive, the world didn't need people like her.
As she spoke, Yvonne plunged the dagger into Queen's Solenne's leg, causing the vampire to cry out. How could she have been so stupid and distracted, this could be fatal. "Looks like tonight is not your lucky night" Yvonne hysterically laughed as she went to stand up.
Solenne in a fit of rage grabbed her and through her against a tree trunk, they were sure they heard bones cracking.
Solenne limped over.
Yvonne had a sadistic grin as she pulled something else out of her pocket.
BOOM an echo could be heard.
Yvonne had shot Solenne in the shoulder with an old gun that she had managed to get her hands on. "Bet you didn't see that coming" the Vampire Queen looked down at the bullet that had passed through her shoulder. Pulling herself back up.
Aerilyn was crying and screaming, Luanna had to hold her back, she couldn't go near her with a gun.
"An old relic, nevertheless it won't work" as she spoke the gun went off again, hitting Solenne in the stomach as Yvonne fumbled with it.
This only angered the Queen more. No one had guns anymore, they just weren't a thing. "You're not as powerful as you think" Yvonne carried on shooting but missed this time, Solenne dodged the bullets.
It had been a long time since she had encountered a gun.
Solenne's vampire speed was waring off, still she made it over to Yvonne, blood pouring out of the Queen's mouth, stomach and shoulder. With all her might she swung her sword and struck Yvonne down. Aerilyn looked away.
"Release the others who are trapped in that resistance prison" Solenne commanded her army, Aerilyn rushed over to the Queen, who had fallen to the floor.
"I'm sorry my love" a sheet had been placed over Eli as Solenne pulled Aerilyn into her.
Aerilyn thought the gun shots looked awful, not thinking about how strong vampires were. "It's not as bad as it looks" Solenne held the girls face.
Luanna had stayed behind with some guards as they didn't want to leave the Queen unattended. Her mate the new general also set up a perimeter and began to search the area. Luanna approached her best friend to see how she was doing, it had been a long day, "that poison is going to damage you if we don't sort it out soon, the healer will meet us at the castle" she bent down to pull the Queen's trousers up and have a look at the damage.

It wasn't as bad as she had been expecting, but it wasn't good either and her mild expression of frowns had been caught by an all to knowing girl stood next to her.
Aerilyn looked on worried, "take my blood" she immediately offered. She was always so quick to offer her blood, but Solenne felt guilty taking it. But still she held her wrist out even if she was weak herself, she had come to terms that she would give her life for her Majesty's.
Luanna examined the cut and leant closer to smell it. She was fairly gifted and knew her potions and herbs, she had been around long enough to know the different smells. "It's an altered version of nightshade" she spoke straight away, there was no point keeping it a secret and Solenne would have already known.
Luckily the smell only lingered, never strong, she wasn't too worried as humans could never get a hold of a large amount. The more the nightshade the stronger the smell. "The bullets are normal, they will heal fine" Luanna said.
Solenne dropped to the floor as her leg became paralysed, she was gasping as it kicked into her system. Her body could only fight it off for so long, it was one of the only things that could kill her. "Is this normal?" Aerilyn panicked as she flailed her arms around.
The vampire Queen nodded hastily in agreement for her blood as that would help the process. Aerilyn held her wrist up to Solenne again and she began to drink, the girl was a lot weaker than usual but she withstood it all for the sake of her majesty.
Luanna put Solenne on Keres once the horse had arrived, the girl sat behind Solenne and rode back towards the castle as fast as she could, keeping a tight grip on her majesty, even though she was heavy she kept her upright.
Aerilyn couldn't wait to get back to the castle, it had been too long or at least that's how it felt. Even with Solenne paralysed she felt her happiest being close to her snd heading back to the one place she could call home. Her tear stained cheeks were puffy and red as they cantered.
Once they arrived Evelyn, Nilsa and Prince Matheus were there to greet her. Aerilyn got off of Keres and the guards helped Solenne get down before placing her on a chair for now.
The healer started her work on Solenne's leg immediately.
Solenne wrapped her arm around Aerilyn protectively to keep the others away from her, the Queen of vampires did not want her to become overwhelmed or change her mind in any way and flee. "We missed you so much, never leave again!" Evelyn announced as they had ran out and now stood smiling at each other.
"I'm sorry about what happened" Prince Matheus gave his condolences. He looked as though he hadn't been expecting them back which was true because he was sure something could go wrong out there.
"If her majesty was not there I would definitely knock some sense into you right now" Nilsa joked as she grinned at Aerilyn. What Aerilyn was more curious about was a woman with auburn hair stood behind Nilsa watching cautiously who she had never seen before.
They both eyed each other.
Aerilyn looked over the Auburn haired woman's clothing, it was loose and ragged, she could tell that she held some power but she wasn't sure what, her physique was strong muscular even, but she was sure she was no match for Solenne.

Nilsa looked behind to see where Aerilyn was looking and chuckled. "Oh yes, something happened whilst you were away" Nilsa was excited as she almost jumped up and down.
Aerilyn eyed her vampire best friend and leant into Solenne more, the Queen placed her arm around the girls back and rubbed in circles. "Love come here" Nilsa encouraged, calling the woman over.
The girl with the auburn hair came closer and wrapped her arm around Nilsa looking her in her eyes and placing a soft kiss on her nose. She was very wary of this new person in front of her, now they hadn't gotten the Queen's pet back would they slaughter the wolves and dispose of her, these were all thoughts that ran through her mind.
Aerilyn's eyes went wide with realisation and excitement "omg is that...what..how?" She couldn't contain herself as she caught on to the situation.
Nilsa smiled widely and nodded. "This is my mate Zenon and Zenon this is Aerilyn" Alpha Zenon had been pre warned about what not to say and just gave a small wave and said hi. She melted before Nilsa and became a pool of sudden nervousness around her.
Aerilyn rushed over and hugged Nilsa, "I'm so happy for you" she whispered into Nilsa's ear. She had yet to realise that they were wolves, seeing as she was captured by their pack and subjected to pain, Solenne thought she would wait until she broke the news, her girl had been hurt already and that was enough to break her seeing her cry.
Prince Matheus picked his sister up and held her as they waited and told her she did a good job today. The healer had placed some herbs and potions on the cut as she tried to get it to heal.
Aerilyn let go of Nilsa and stepped back closer to Solenne, who side eyed her. Aerilyn was happy for Nilsa but she couldn't not think about what it would be like to have that one person, but she knew because she was human that that wasn't going to happen.
Her heart told her that if she could have anyone she would want Solenne, but Solenne was promised to her mate and it would never last and so she didn't want to think about that right now, she just wanted to enjoy being in the moment.
Solenne slipped her hand into Aerilyn's and spoke "let's get you inside I'm sure your dying for a proper meal" the Queen was trying to not freak out now she had her human back with her, her smell intoxicated her it nearly caused her fangs to come out and oh her blood was better than anything she had tasted before.
They made their way to Aerilyn's room, stepping in she realised that nothing was out of place, it looked exactly as it did when she first left. This was new ground and they weren't exactly sure how to act around each other it was as thought they were getting to know each other again. "No one was allowed in" Solenne admitted as she looked anywhere but at Aerilyn.
Prince Matheus had placed her down on the bed and left them to it, he did not want to third wheel and he had to go and see the new humans to help settle them in.
Aerilyn looked straight at Solenne and walked further into her room. "Why?" She enquired. She looked around at her fairly large sized room, even her clothes were still flung everywhere from where she had been packing to leave.
She stepped closer to the Queen who was sat on her bed. "Why what?" Solenne tilted her head mischievously.
Aerilyn sat on the edge of the bed and held the Queen's hands "Why was no one allowed in?"
"I..." Solenne didn't know how to start. She knew what she wanted to say she just needed to spit it out.
Aerilyn waited patiently, amused at how Solenne was acting. "I couldn't bare the thought of anyone messing with your things, it was all I had left of you" the way the Queen spoke made it sound like she was going to die which only confused her more, what's more is that it sounded like it was the end of her world if Aerilyn had died.
Aerilyn breathed in and out slowly and deeply, taking everything in, today had been a lot for her, overwhelming. "You make it sound like I was going to die, is that what you saw?" She asked of Solenne's visions causing the vampire Queen to frown.
Solenne leant closer, their noses almost touching just as their foreheads would. "No, it's just, after what happened I didn't know if I would see you again" she was hopeless, dead inside without her, there was no point to life.
She gently placed a hand on top of Aerilyn's. "How are you feeling? You've had a rough day" she could read her to an extent but she thought she had better ask.
"I don't know, confused, shocked, how about you, you've been shot at and stabbed" she trailed off not knowing what to say.
Solenne brushed it off like it was nothing "I've had worse"
"I'm not sure I will ever come to terms with it" tears fell down her face as she spoke of her brother.
Solenne held her hand up to brush her tears away and wrapped her arms around Aerilyn to hug her, this only caused the human to latch onto the vampire, both were tense as they had not had much physical contact with anyone for a long time, but that's what made it more intimate.
They stayed like that for a while in each other's embrace, until Solenne heard Aerilyn's stomach growl and then she remembered she had a human to feed again. "My pet is hungry" Solenne couldn't help that the name slipped out her mouth, it just came so naturally. She called for the guards and servants.
Aerilyn noticed straight away was that the servants were looking at the Queen, that certainly was not normal as they sat down. They were still polite and bowed but this was different. This caused her to lean into Queen Solenne "how come they are looking at you?" She was a bit jealous that they all had their attention on the Queen.
Solenne decided to tease her. "I didn't know you had a green eye" she joked. Aerilyn's face fell, as she realised what she was doing, she was definitely jealous and she had no right to be, or that is atleast how it felt.
Solenne smiled pushing her hair back behind her face. "A lot has changed since you left, i will fill you in when you settle, it's all okay though amica mea" she reassured the human.
Solenne then dismissed everyone from the room to leave them both alone.
Aerilyn smirked because she now knew what the Queen was saying when she spoke her small phrases in Latin.
Aerilyn ate her food, she was so happy to be having her old food and not the rice and beans from the camp. Solenne watched on curiously as she dug into her food, "I take it you were not satisfied with the food at camp" the Queen chuckled.
Aerilyn shook her head as she shovelled it into her mouth "it was horrible, everything about that place" Solenne placed her hand on the girls reassuringly.
She smiled at her lovingly. "It's a good job you'll never be going back"
Aerilyn softly smiled, but deep down she was thinking what now? Can I stay here and how long for? Will I be kicked out when she finds the one?
Solenne could feel Aerilyn's mind racing. "You aren't going back, that is, if you want to stay here, I don't know how long you'll stay but that is up to you" it was the girls choice now, she could only wish.
"Ad diem post forever...if that is okay with you"
Until the day after forever
Speaking Latin was hard but it was clearly a large part of Solenne's life and Aerilyn wanted to be apart of that and learn the language she so loved.
The Queen's eyes snapped to Aerilyn straight away who was now red, was it that bad? Did she even understand what she had said?
The largest beaming smile broke onto Solenne's face, this was the happiest she had ever felt, a euphoric feeling coursed through her, it was like they had cemented their bond without even knowing. "I hope you realise what you have just said, because now I'm definitely not letting you go" Solenne pressed her lips against Aerilyn's.
She straddled the Queen as they were entwined in a deep passionate kiss, knocking some cutlery off the table in the process, Solenne gripped Aerilyn harder, not ever wanting to let her go. They both re explored each other bodies, feeling every where as if they had for the first time. Solenne dropped her hands to the girls ass grinding them together causing them to both gasp.
Aerilyn moaned as Solenne's hand made it was underneath her top, causing her skin to tingle, light touches on her stomach caused an eruption of butterflies and goosebumps. The Queen kissed her jaw and down to her neck, she pulled her down so that they were as close as could be. Taking a moment to look at the girl as though she was the most beautiful piece of art she had ever seen.
Solenne smirked and leant down once again to attack Aerilyn's neck with kisses and nips. Aerilyn did some exploring of her own, her hands dipped underneath Solenne's top, she waited for a second to see if the Queen would have any objections but the light moan and deep breath she had heard told her otherwise. This was the first time she had touched Queen Solenne like this.
Tracing her toned stomach, she ran her hands up and around her breasts, careful not to touch them, their lips connected once more as Solenne cradled the girl, hands firmly on the girls ass so that she could explore the Queen's body.
Aerilyn was dying to touch those forbidden places as she circled her hand once more, but today would not be that day. She had barely just lost her brother.
Kissing Solenne roughly once more she then pulled back, breathing deeply to catch her breath.
They both paused looking at each other trying to gage the others reaction, to decipher the deeper meaning. "If my legs were okay I would ravish you right now" Aerilyn chuckled at the Queen's words.
Aerilyn sat back still straddling her, looking into those piercing eyes she had become so use to. "Take me on a date first" She joked.
They hadn't spoken about their feelings towards each other but here they were making progress and now Solenne felt bad that she hadn't done things the right way. "You're right, I owe you many dates" Solenne confirmed and smiled. Aerilyn's eyes lit up at the thought and The Queen sat thinking it couldn't get any better than this.
