《The Queen's everything gxg》Chapter 8

Ren had arrived in the morning to make an announcement, whilst they were having breakfast, he stood tall, shoulders and feet apart, almost leaving Aerilyn to shake with what had happened, she was yet to make a recovery, her body still hurt, with throbbing pain, it was intense, with bruises all over the place and she was quite unsteady on her feet.
"Those of you left will be moved to somewhere more secure and those of you who have no use to us will be moved to servant quarters" he spoke harshly, before looking directly at Aerilyn with venom in his eyes.
She shrivelled up inside, Aerilyn would either spend the rest of my life as a blood bag or as a servant.
Everyone was looking around at each other wondering where they were going to be moved too.
"Pack your stuff we are moving in an hour" he commanded, more guards piled into the rooms at this point to make sure the group did as they were told.
What little they had was packed away, Aerilyn had a couple of T-shirt's and a picture of her and Eli from before. When they were happy. Everything else was lost but in memory.
Nilsa had arrived and approached Aerilyn cautiously, leaving a respectable amount of distance between them both.
"Hey, how are you holding up?" Nilsa was acting more timid than usual but she had no reason too, she had tried to protect her.
"I'm much better thank you" Aerilyn half smiled, she had recovered well considering.
"Good, I am really sorry about what happened, are you sure you're okay, you don't look so good"
Aerilyn tried to hold a brave face but Nilsa could obviously see she was in pain.
Aerilyn cut her off "look you don't need to apologise, you tried to protect me and I really appreciate that, but this is what I'm here for" she looked at her funnily as she said that.
"Here for" Nilsa muttered, Aerilyn almost didn't hear her.
"Blood bag" she replied, shrugging her shoulders, but Nilsa didn't seem to like that because she frowned, turned around abruptly and walked off. She didn't need to be so kind to Aerilyn and she didn't have to be either.
Not long after Nilsa left, they were taken onto a bus to be moved.
Feeling the outside for almost a moment, Aerilyn inhaled deeply, trying to catch a glimpse of the outside world, oh how she had missed it, but that was short lived as they were put on the bus. The vampires mostly had control of what oil was left and the resistance or any other humans would have to scavenge for it.

The group arrived at this so called secure place which was in fact a glorified cell. There were lots of other cells with people in, just like theirs, Aerilyn could hear their calls and cries. A few others were taken away and it was soon to become clear that they were the servants.
None of them wanted to enter the cells but they didn't have a choice, they now found themselves at a human auction, the realisation hit them. The cell Aerilyn was in only held around 6.
Here, the vampires got to walk around and look at the humans before putting in a bid. Aerilyn hid behind Eli but it did no good, because the vampires could still smell them, a couple of male vampires stopped outside of their cell, sniffing the air.
"Can you smell that?" The one with light blonde hair said.
The other vampire sniffed the air as well, inhaling the scents.
"Oh yes, I am definitely going to bid on her" Aerilyn cowered further into the corner.
"Smell him too, I don't usually like male blood bags but I might have to make an exception, they said nodding towards Saryn who snarled at them.
Over the next few hours, vampires passed by and the auction had began, Aerilyn cell now only held, her, Eli and Saryn as Ev and Alex were in another cell.
At this moment, two burly vampires pulled Aerilyn out and dragged her onto the stage, away from her brother, Eli screamed and shouted but it was no use.
As soon as Aerilyn was on the stage everybody could smell her scent, they went wild, she wrapped her arms around herself and tried to keep her eyes down, maybe that would make it less scary.
The men begun fighting over Aerilyn because of ber blood "wait until I get my hands on her" they shouted and "I can't wait to break her in" another said.
Aerilyn was shaking, barely able to stand because of her injuries.
"Get a whiff of that, it's nothing like I have smelled" another called. They tried to grab her but were pushed away by the auctioneer, causing Aerilyn's knees almost buckling beneath her.
Another commented "smell the fear on her" he gawked at her.
The auction commenced with the auction "As you can see we have an exceptional smelling rogue human, she has never been bitten and is only 20 years of age"

"She's damaged how can you sell her" a male vampire in the audience jeered.
"Fear not, nothing is broken, I have been assured she only has a few bruises and will be back to normal in no time" he reassured the crowd.
"Let's start the bidding, can i get $50,000?" He asked, nodding his head around the crowd.
A woman vampire lifted her arm but was immediately countered by the male that saw Aerilyn in the cell earlier on.
"$100,000" he shouted, the crowd gasped, Aerilyn didn't know what the going rate for a human was but she was sure she wasn't worth that much.
"$150,000" an old vampire smirked.
"$200,000" the woman said back.
You could hear a pin drop at this point, the room was silent, she still kept her eyes down and her ears open.
"$350,000, let's end this now" the vampire from her cell said, it was clear this had gotten out of hand.
"$500,000" a vampire who she had not seen before walked in, he didn't look like the average vampire.
"Welcome, Prince Louis" oh no royalty, this was worse than she thought. He looked straight at Aerilyn, but she refused to look at him.
"Let's up this shall we, $1 million" the man from outside her cell said with his light blonde hair.
The Prince looked shocked that anyone dare go above him.
"$1.5 million" the Prince offered. At that there was no response, the crowd began to cheer loudly.
"Going once, going twice...sold to Prince Louis"
The doors suddenly opened and everyone bowed with whispers "it's the Queen" and "she never attends these". Aerilyn didn't know who the Queen was or what she looked like and didn't want too, she had heard some stories but she knew very little, she was always told how vampires are evil and use humans for their blood and sex.
That was until she heard her voice, Aerilyn knew that voice.
Aerilyn eyes searched for her, meeting her in the middle of the crowd, Solenne's eyes found hers, it almost looked like she was inhaling the air.
"What is she doing up there, I told you explicitly that she was not for auction" she spoke confidently in her armour.
"I am afraid that she is not for sale, it seems my guards are incompetent" she spoke seductively.
"I am sorry your majesty, we didn't know" a guard said very worriedly.
In a fit of rage the the Queen appeared in front of him, having stabbed him at vampire speed.
Aerilyn looked back down, not making any eye contact with anybody, the fear still evident with the way she was stood, cowering away from everyone else.
So this is what Saryn didn't want her to know, the Queen had taken an interest in her.
Aerilyn heard more whispers from the crowd "how is that fair, she should bid on her if she wants her" they all started to agree with each other.
"SILENCE" the Queen roared.
Before Aerilyn knew what was happening, Solenne made her way through the crowd to the stage, only looking at her. Aerilyn's face was muddy and she was very dirty by this point.
Aerilyn tried to take a step back from the Queen, scared at what she might do, but was stopped by another vampire.
"Be still girl" he warned.
The guard stepped away as she came close enough that she reached out for Aerilyn's face and tucked her hair behind her ears "exquisite" the Queen murmured.
Aerilyn stood with her cold demeanour not trying to show any emotion, she felt helpless.
Solenne finally took her eyes away from the girl, turned around and spoke "if anyone has an issue with me claiming her, I suggest you speak up now and we can deal with this the only fashioned way" she said as she half pulled her sword out.
The place went silent, you could hear a pin drop, nobody dare challenge her.
Only Prince Louis had the balls to say something to her "surely we can find you another blood bag cousin" she narrowed her eyes at him but ignored
him.
"No? Okay" she laughed at the fact no one would challenge her.
She turned back around to Aerilyn "come little one we are leaving" her guards arrived on the stage and ushered Aerilyn off it.
