Octavia is the only person capable of stopping the blood bath I will set upon them when this is all said and done. Those who don't pledge loyalty to my Queen will die the second they deny her.
My whole life I've spent destroying lives and taking packs under my control. From Alphas who didn't deserve to lead, Alphas who abused their power, abused their pack members. It was just a matter of time before I set my sights on Novilunium. Rumors had always circulated from there, like all the other packs I've intervened at. Now, after hearing from Octavia herself, I regret not going there sooner. Maybe if I did, she wouldn't have suffered so long. The years of abuse from them, killing those who helped her. My anger rages at the details she's shared with me.
The best thing for both of us right now is to get some rest. She needs all the energy she can get for tomorrow, and I need to calm down before I kill them tonight.

Laying down with her snuggled up against me sends instant peace over my body. Having her here safe in my arms is the best feeling I've had in a long time. Her breathing is soft and slow, she's fast asleep completely relaxed against me. It doesn't take long for the darkness to consume me, not the usual kind that terrorizes my dreams at night, but the blissful kind, that for one moment everything is right in the world.
I breathe her scent in, letting that incredible aroma fill my lungs as I give in to the darkness.
Waking the next morning, I actually feel energized. That was the best sleep I've ever had. I will never get tired of feeling her in my arms, protecting her, just holding her close to me. Everything about her is amazing, even that small spot of drool on her chin.
"Good morning beautiful, sleep well" I ask brushing a piece of loose hair behind her ear.
"Mmm, that was probably the best sleep of my life" she says, trying to hide her blushing face.
She's so cute. Everything about her drives me crazy. I can't help myself from wanting to touch her constantly. With everything she's been through, I know it will take her more time for healing before she will be able to handle how extreme I could get. I'm constantly fighting against Gray, he doesn't understand why I hold myself back. Every second I'm not touching her or near her is physical torture for me.
"I'm glad you slept well, I had the best sleep of my life too. Knowing you were next to me all night kept me calm and happy. I love you Octavia. I know it might be too soon for you to hear. I can't help myself. I love you so much and I'm so grateful that I've found you. I'm never letting you go"
