“Birdseye view, awake the stars 'cause they're all around you
Wide eyes will always brighten the blue.
Chase your dreams, and remember me, speak bravery
Because after all those wings will take you, up so high
So bid the forest a fond goodbye, as you brace the wind and
Take to the sky.”

Sparks flew as soon as my lips touched his soft ones. He has the most perfect lips ever. Not too big, neither too small. Just the right size. They were little but chapped which produced a delicious friction between our lips as they moved together.
At first he froze in shock, as if not expecting me to do this. After some torturously long seconds though, he recovered from the shock and a soft moan escaped his lips as they started moving with mine.
Touching, tugging, pulling, kissing, tasting.
He placed a hand on my face, and cupping me jaw. Tilting my face, he angled our lips perfectly so that they could move freely.
A sigh left my lips as his licked the seam of my bottom lip, licking and tugging on it. My lips caught his bottom lip between them and pulled slightly, making him moan.
Bringing my face closer- if it was even possible- he slipped his tongue inside my mouth and I moaned when his taste burst inside my mouth. He tasted so sweet. Probably because of the ice cream we just had.
It was enchanting, and bewitching. Our tongues fought for dominance, and this time, I let him win. My leg was between his legs, one of my hand was on his shoulder while he wrapped one arm around my waist, pulling me impossibly closer— I didn't think even a paper could pass from in between us now.
This wasn't my first kiss, nor was this my first kiss with him. But somehow, someway, this kiss has managed to make me forget all the others I have had. I couldn't remember them. It was as if they never happened.
It was probably because none of them were even close to this. Ever spark that ignited between us, every butterfly that fluttered in my stomach, every moan that escaped my lips— was so new, and so fresh that nothing I've done before could compare to this.

Soon, too soon, we had to pull apart to catch some air and I tried not to feel sad and disappointed at the lack of contact between us.
Chance took the opportunity to rain my neck with feather soft kisses and my eyes rolled to the back of head as I tried to handle the pleasure I got when his brushed against my collarbone. Exactly where I'd bear his mark.
It was clearly my sweet spot. His love bite there had faded away, and I was pretty sure that he was aiming on giving me the fresh one.
Old Olivia would have stopped him and shied away. But the old Olivia flew out of the window as soon as his lips touched mine and now, this new Olivia was wild, and wanted him to mark her in everyway possible.
His teeth lightly nibbled over the sensitive skin and I made a sound of pleasure, gripping his shoulder. He immediately took to licking and sucking on the spot, to ease the sting and this action continued till he had successfully given me an evident hickey.
This one much larger than the last one.
A satisfied smile took over his expressions, as we leaned down to kiss again.
We were halfway through our kiss when a familiar feminine voice cut us off.
"I am hoping that this mini adult show is free, because like, I'm broke."
I froze as soon as I identified the voice to be of Katherine's.
Warily, we pulled apart and I looked up with horror written all over my face as my best friend smirked at me from my bed.
Talk about embarrassing.
"Oh Chance! Don't stop kissing me! Yeah baby, please," Katherine mocked in a highly squeaky voice after meeting me at the lockers next day in school.
"Oh shut up! I didn't even say that." I defended myself, smacking her arm. My cheeks flamed in embarrassment and from the corner of my eyes I saw people looking weirdly at us.
I ducked by head. As I have said before, I hate being the centre of attention.

"But you would have if I hadn't interrupted," Katherine said, grinning goofily at me.
That why did you have to interrupt, I thought involuntarily and then almost kicked myself for thinking that.
I need self control.
"Shut the fuck up."
Katherine was bubbly as usual but there was a vivid shine on her face, spark in her eyes that I couldn't decipher.
I wanted to ask her what happened, when my memory reminded me of the way she was blushing while texting someone yesterday. This extreme was probably because of the mystery texter.
I opened my lips to ask her who it was but before I could say anything, an arm was slung over my shoulder and I turned to see Andrew grinning down at me.
He put his other arm over Katherine and stood in between us.
"How are my favorite women on earth?" He asked, a grin still on his face.
"Meh,"
"AMAZING!"
Me and Katherine said together respectively and I glared at her. I want to know what's up with her!
"She's hiding something from me!"
"She went on a date!"
We both said again again, and this time too, I glared at her.
Andrew didn't pay attention to what I said and turned to Katherine instead.
"Date?" He asked with an unreadable expression and frown on his face.
You see, Andrew was the only one in the entire school that wasn't aware of the date because he left the hall even before I opened the box of donuts.
Katherine nodded frantically, "YUP! She went out yesterday with Chance and you know what! When they come back—"
Andrew interrupted Katherine by turning to me, "Chance?" His tone was accusing at first and I saw something flash in his eyes but I think I imagined it because the next moment he engulfed me in a bear hug and started shouting in my ear.
"I am so happy for you!" He gushed excitedly and I rolled my eyes.
There we go. Sometimes I feel like my friends are more happy about my dates that I am.
"Bitch, hold up! How did you get 4.8 moles?" Katherine asked, her eyebrows furrowing as she tried to concentrate on the stoichiometry numerical in front of her.
I sighed and explained her again, "See, it takes 1 mol of nitrogen gas and 3 mol of hydrogen gas to form 2 mol of ammonia. So if we have 2.4 mol of nitrogen, and 9 mol of hydrogen, nitrogen acts as a limiting reagant and only 7.2 mol of hydrogen is consumed. Limiting reagant is the one that gets consumed completely. 2.4 mol of nitrogen gas and 7.2 mol of hydrogen gas combine to form 4.8 mol of ammonia."
I finished with a long breathe and looked expectedly at her, "Got it?" I asked.
Katherine's expression was quite hilarious as his lips turned into an 'o' and her eyes widened. She looked at me with an expression of awe.
"Wow," she breathed out, "I didn't get anything."
I sighed. This is going to be a long period.
"Yay! I finally got it!" Katherine clapped her hands happily and I smiled at her.
"That teacher better ask this in the damn exam, else I'mma be pissed," she said and I chuckled.
We were about to collect our books and exit the library when I felt warm hands cover my eyes from behind me and a cool breathe was felt beside my ear.
"Guess who?" He whispered and by the sparks I felt, I immediately knew who it was.
I just smiled some more.

Dimensional Descent
The Third Dimension is collapsing. The Fourth Dimension is descending.
8 616The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
8 178Hellfire Across the Heavens
Three centuries of FTL space travel has spread the people of Terra far across the stars and for nearly half a millennia people have asked the question, "are we alone in the universe?" The answer to that question is a resounding no. To one side, humanity is boxed in by an ancient empire whose light has burned up long ago. To the other, is a federation of alien races known as the Senate. Mankind rejoiced the knowledge that they were not the only life in a cold dark galaxy. But as first contact was made, ET's who transited into the Warp seemed to disappear without a trace, technologies traded with the other races malfunctioned or refused to work entirely, and simple translation errors led to grave misunderstandings. Before long, humanity was outcasted by the Senate and relationships soured, but even still the sons and daughters of Terra worked hard to earn the respect and trust of the Xeno's.
8 125Demon Blade
Ryuken is your average 15-year old high schooler, living his life in an ordinary way, until he comes across a mysterious katana and is pulled into the world of unbelievable supernatural. An anime-inspired passion project of mine, sparked from my childhood love of shounen anime. I have big plans for this world but we'll see if I get to stick around long enough to finish it.Enjoy! Notes: 1. My writing style is mostly script-like with some 3rd person-ish narrative sprinkled in, and it is VERY dialogue-heavy. 2. It can be pretty slow, as I tend to focus more on characters rather than action. 3. Since the story is set in Japan with Japanese characters, I will be using Japanese honorifics whenever the characters are interacting with each other. To learn more about Japanese Honorifics, you can go to this website here. I apologize if I used them wrongly, or if I forgot to use them from time to time, or if it turns you off. 4. I don't have a fixed release schedule as I don't have time to write regularly at the moment. I may update tomorrow or next year. Who knows. I'm like your dad who's gone to the store for some milk. I'll be back. Cover Source
8 178[NaNoWriMo] The Mortal God's Melancholy
Meeting a wouded person overnight to being trudged in a battle that will decide who the God of gods will be, Kaellum Wright becomes the new god, Vixalis, replacing the forgotten minor god of the four seasons. Sent to a world where Gods battle their hearts out for surpemacy. Will he emerge victorious, becoming God by force, will he fall before them in disgrace, or will he choose his own destiny. ----- 3500-4000 words per chapter. Don't worry about it making sense. If it doesn't when you expected one, then I am sorry. Awkward plot, forgive me. I had a really late start. Terribly sorry for those seeking a really great story, character, and plot. I made this to let my imagination run wild, no matter how irritating it might get, but I'll still accept criticism, it'll serve as a good teacher for the future. It's just something to make in my free time, that and the contest itself. Hope you still enjoy it though! :) Credits to Deadheadz for the great cover art! :)
