《Giving Them The World ✔》3

I follow Emilio and Lewis to Emilio's car. When we reached the car it just so happened to be the red car that was racing tonight.
Emilio opens the back door and I put Emory in then I take Katalina and put her in next to her sister.
"I'll drop the wagon off later," Lewis said, kissing the top of my head.
"Ok" I grab the blankets from the wagon and Emilio grabs the bags and puts them in the trunk. I get in the back wrapping a blanket around each of the girls before putting one on each side of me.
Emilio gets into the car and he drives off at a safe speed. It didn't take long for the girls to fall asleep to the moving car.
"So how long has your ex-boyfriend been putting his hands on you?" Emilio says breaking the silence.
"Um.. almost 4 years" Wilson started beating me a few months after I had Emory and Katalina.
"Why didn't you leave?" Why is this guy so nosey? But more importantly why an I willingly answering his questions honestly?
"I've tried but we didn't get far. Wilson always had tons of people outside when he left and when he got back I was always getting beat that I had no time to escape when there was nobody waiting outside" I looked down at my hand even though it was dark and I couldn't see them.
Emilio remained quiet for the rest of the car ride. We pulled up to a house and all I could see from the headlights of the car was that it was a pretty big two-story house.
Emilio parks the car before getting out and opening the back door. I unbuckle both girls. Emilio carefully takes Emory and places her head on his shoulder. I slide out of the car with Katalina.

"We can come back out for your bags later," he says shutting the car door. There were lights placed on the ground lighting a way to the stairs.
Emilio pushed the door open for me and I walked in. The lights were already on and I have no idea why. With a house, this big the bills must be high.
There were stairs a few feet in front of me and to my right was the kitchen from what I could see and to my left was a living room where a man and woman sat on a couch watching tv.
The guy was an older version of Emilio and the woman seemed to share the same nose and eyes as Emilio meaning this was his mother and the guy was his father.
"Emilio, where have you been, we've been waiting for hours," his mom says standing up making her way over. She stops when she sees me and the girls.
"Sorry, mom I ran into a situation" Emilio's let out a sigh kissing his mom's cheek. Awe.
"Who are these lovely ladies?" She says eying me closely.
"The situation" Emilio replies.
I kicked his shin, sending him a glare when he turned to look at me with his own little glare. damn, why did that make him look sexier?
"This is Alisha and her daughters..." He has no idea what the twin's names are.
"Emory and Katalina," I say pointing to them.
"This is my mom Nora and my father Grant," Emilio says as I nod my head tiredly.
"You look tired so I'll just let Emilio show you to your room," Nora says stepping out of the way.
Emilio walks up the stairs and I follow. We took a bunch of turns until we came to a hallway with three doors.

"The first one is mine and you can take the second so if anything happens I'm just right next door" he pushed the door open. When I stepped into the room I was amazed at how big the room was. It was bigger than my kitchen and living room combined and I thought those rooms were quite big.
There was a king-size bed up against the wall in the middle of the room. Slightly off to the side was a bathroom then across the room was a huge closet. A flat-screen tv hung on the wall across from the bed.
"Thanks for letting us stay" I lay Kat on the bed, Emilio lays Emory next to Kat.
"I'll go get your bags," Emilio says before he disappears out the door.
Emilio comes back in a few minutes later with our bags. He holds my pull string bag out towards me.
"Is this all you have?" His eyebrows were drawn together.
"I was more focused on getting the girl's clothes" I nod taking the bag from him.
"You barely have anything in there" he sighs shaking his head.
"I have around three outfits" I huff.
"You have nothing to sleep in" he has a point. I bite my lip thinking.
"I can just sleep in this" I look down at my shirt and jeans.
"You can't sleep in jeans that are too uncomfortable"
"I've done it before I can do it again now if you'll excuse me I need to take a shower" he nods his head before leaving the room.
I shut the bedroom door since I always shower with the bathroom door open in case the girls need me.
The first thing I notice when I walk into the bathroom is the uncovered mirror. I look in the mirror sighing, there was dry blood that had run down my cheek and my lip was split open again from me biting my lip.
I cover the mirror after looking over my face for nearly ten minutes. I sigh as I take my shirt and bra off. The bedroom door opens causing me to reach for my shirt. I cover my front side as someone entered the bathroom.
"Shit sorry I thought you had gotten in the shower all ready"
"I got distracted by the mirror," I say nodding towards it as I kept my back to Emilio.
"Oh well that's a way to fix it" he stated with a small chuckle.
"I brought you a shirt so you can sleep-" he stops mid-sentence. I wait for him to continue but he doesn't.
His cold hands trace the scars on my back causing me to gasp. He leaves the open wounds not wanting to touch them. I shut my eyes tightly remembering the night I received the scars. I take a few steps forward as a few tears slip from my eyes.
"I'm sorry I should have asked. I'm just gonna set the shirt on the counter and then I'll leave" I hear shuffling before the bedroom door shuts.
I turn the water on before I take the rest of my stuff off. I take a quick shower and then I put Emilio's shirt on. It ended past my knees. I head to my bag and grab some underwear. I brushed through my hair before I laid down next to my girls.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.

That Scottish Play
This is a very silly and cringey parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play format will be kept consistent throughout. Unless you enjoy cringing so hard you experience physical pain, I'd suggest avoiding this work. However, as the level of cringe is only slightly less than that of the office, any fans of that show may enjoy this work. (I believe, as a parody, this work is protected from copyright by fair use, additionally, Shakespeare is in the public domain so it doesn't fall under copyright in the first place. If I'm wrong please let me know)
