My eyelids hurt so bad that I felt pain when I struggled to open my eyes. When I had them open, the first thing I saw was my lap through slightly blurred vision. I hissed and then moaned when I felt a dull ache on my head. I tried to raise my head but difficult, almost as if my neck was stiff with pain. I shut my eyes against another wave of a dull headache then opened them when I heard heavy footsteps.

"Finally awake," a gruff masculine voice reached my ears and I groaned out in pain when my hair was yanked back.

The pain in my neck and head doubled and I felt dizzy from the movement. I took deep breaths and looked to my side, I saw the same man who had been following me in the supermarket. My eyes widened as fear came over me then I became aware of my surroundings.

I was facing a church altar and on my side were rows of wooden benches. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked back at the altar in confusion. I could tell from the stained glass window behind the cross that it was still night time and the memories of what happened last came to me. I moved my hands and felt it restrained. Looking down, I saw I was tied up with a thick rope around my body and arms.

"Axel!" I yelled out when I remembered seeing him unconscious in the van I was thrown into.

"Shut up, bitch," the man said against my cheek and tightened his hold on my hair.

"Let me go, please," I pleaded in a low voice and the man laughed before leaving my head. "Where am I?"

The man walked in front of me and squatted before me. He smirked and raised his right hand, in his grip was a gun that sent shivers down my body.

"If you know what's good for you," he said and pressed the gun to his lips, motioning for me to keep quiet.

I nodded frantically as I started to sweat. I have been captured and no one knew where I was. As well as Axel who I could not see anywhere. I became confused for a second about who could be behind this act until one person crossed my mind.

"Maddy," I said under my breath with so much hatred for her.

I heard light footsteps behind me which caused me to straighten up in the chair. I gulped when I got a whiff of a familiar scent and looked sideways, waiting to see who it was. I gritted my teeth when Maddy went past me and stood beside the man. She crossed her arms and smirked.

"Hello, best friend," Maddy said and I hissed.

"Why am I not surprised that you're the one behind this?" I asked and she laughed.

I took notice of her outfit. She was dressed in leather pants and a corset leather tank top. Her hair was now cut short, brushing her shoulders. She had make-up on her face which made me roll my eyes.

"I hope you're dressed for your funeral," I said and she slapped my face. I hissed at the sharp pain on my cheek.

"More like yours, Jackie dearest," she said angrily and gripped my chin then forced me to look up at her. "I've had enough of your existence."

"What are you going to do to me? Kill me or have them assault me as you did a year ago? I can't believe that you are like this," I said with so much hate inside of me for her.

Maddy scoffed. "Stop pretending like you don't know why I did all these?!"

"Because of a man who doesn't love you?" I asked incredulously.

Maddy hissed. "He did! Lucas loved me before you came and snatched him away from me. I already had him but you came in and took him away! You ruined my happy ending!"

I could not believe what I was hearing. The girl before me was crazy.

"Are you even listening to yourself?" I asked, feeling concerned for her sanity for a moment. "Lucas, I'm sure, from the beginning never gave a fuck about you. Besides, I was always a quiet person in school. You know that! I didn't care who went to Redside High."

"Oh, keep quiet!" She yelled. "You planned everything from the beginning, knowing Lucas was from a rich home. Heck, he was at the top of the richest students back at Redside! You wanted so much attention after being in the shadows for long and you didn't see some bastard but you had to pick Lucas who was already mine! Didn't you hear from people around you that he was mine!"

"I already knew that! I had nothing to do with Lucas!" I was very angry at the moment. "I was trapped in that bathroom which was where I first encountered him! If anything, he was the one who was coming to me! Certain circumstances had us linked together! Lucas was annoying in high school and you know it! I shared every truth about him with you but of course, part of what I said to you about him was your doing! You paid people to rape me! For a fucking man!"

"That man is everything to me!" She yelled, stomping her foot. "He is mine. He has everything I ever wanted in a man. I am the other half that was supposed to create a powerful bloodline with him. We were perfect until you came to destroy us! In the beginning, I didn't care what you were to him but when I saw how much you had him in your clutches, I knew I had to take him out."

I was livid. I felt like hitting her in the face as I heard every bullshit she spat at me. I have never felt such a strong emotion for someone like this before. It was heartbreaking and hurtful to my bones.

"I hate you so much," I said. "You made my life a living hell! Made the people around me suffer too just because of unrequited love. One of the worst parts of everything... Is you, a woman like me, sending boys to sexually assault me! I suffered in silence for years when my stepfather harassed me! Yet I suffered the same thing from a fellow woman like me!"

My heart pounded fast, my throat tightened and my body shook as waves of emotions went through my body. Tears started to fill my eyes and it hurt that there was not single remorse on Maddy's face. Instead, she was smiling, smiling so happily that it reached her eyes.

"Oh, your face and all these talks about sexual assault which wasn't even what happened to you. Because, I would have allowed them fuck you to tears but yeah, I'm kind enough," she said and came closer to me. She pointed her finger at me and roamed it around my face. "Remember, Tony?"

"T-Tony? The one who bullied me?" I asked in a low voice.

"Yes, him. You see, at was looking for the best candidate to help me with the whole stuff. I had met Tony, since he bullied you but refused my offer, despite the amount of money he'd get. Tsk, he wasn't such a bad person after all. I heard he was only bullying you because of peer pressure. But too sad you won't get to forgive him or anything because that lousy piece of shit had so much evidence against me to prove that I was the one who caused you to be played with that night."

My lips parted in shock as I remembered when Tony tried to speak to me. It was all my fault that he had died when I could've listened to him as soon as possible. He would have still been alive right now. Tears rolled down my cheeks as guilt ate deep into my mind.

"Are you done with your thoughts?" She asked and exhaled. "I know it is hard for you. But I had to do that so you could stay away from Lucas. But I see it didn't even last so long. When I found out that Lucas was trying to get you into the university of your choice, I had to revoke it. Because there was no way I was going to have Lucas know where you are."

"Then why did you have me go to the college where he is schooling?" I asked.

Maddy smirked. "Well, Lucas being at the same college with us was all my plan."

"What do you mean?"

"I already knew which college he was going to and I simply pulled some strings and made them admit you into it. But guess what?" She asked, leaning down.

"W-what?" I was afraid of what she was going to say next.

"I made sure that each time you were owing the school, they'd double the debt. I wanted you to lose your mind so bad that you would have no choice but to drop out. But everything changed when you met Lucas and I knew it was either you die by my hands or suicide," she said, her face strong.
