Maddy's POV
I was leaning against the wall close to the room where I could hear Jackie's pathetic plea for my cousin and his friends to stop. I had a smile on my face as I checked my fingernails, wondering if I should get them fixed or not.
I dropped my hand and looked left and right, hoping no one would show up and ruin my plan. I glanced at the door and smirked.
"You can't blame me for trying to fight for my future. My future was written by me since I was younger and I can't let some villain come between it," I said and pushed my body off the wall. "Five, four, three, two, one."
I rushed into the room to ready myself for the acting of the century.
"What the fuck is going on here?!" I asked at the top of my voice and Ashton and the others turned their bodies in my direction.
I smirked at them and exchanged subtle looks with them before hesitantly walking toward them. I winked at Ashton and then pushed between them.
"Get out of here! I can't believe you guys would do this! Get out before I call the police!" I yelled at them and they nodded at me before rushing out of the room.
Jackie started to cry on the bed and even though I felt she was a woman like me and didn't deserve a sexual assault, I didn't care so much about her. She fully deserved it and was lucky I made Ashton and his friends avoid doing the whole thing.
When she raised her head, the realization fell on her face when she saw me. I forced a smile on my face and approached her.
"I want to go home," Jackie said in a shaky voice.
I nodded my head and walked over to her, trying so hard not to laugh at how pathetic she looked.
"Come on, let's take you home," I said and helped her out of the bed.
"Thank you," Jackie whispered.

After putting Jackie in my car, I rushed back to the party and met my cousin. I sat down and drank a little, happy that he did the job well.

"You know, I had expected you to let me fuck her and all," Ashton said with an added laugh.
"Nah. I didn't want it to be extreme. I wanted it to be just you guys touching her inappropriately. That way, there won't be a hard case out of this. Besides, even if she was to report to the police, I'll do everything to save Lucas' face," I said and took out my phone. "You'll tell your friends to send their account details to me so I can forward their pay. Also, you guys need to make sure you don't say a word about this incident. Take it to your grave. Keep your eyes on Lucas too. I believe Jackie will report him or confront him and he'll want to find out the truth somehow."
Ashton nodded. "Sure, I won't."
"Good. I gotta go now. Jackie is waiting for me," I said and left his presence.
I left the compound and smirked at the sulking sight of Jackie in the passenger seat of my car. I approached the vehicle and went around it to the driver's side. I got into the car and grabbed the water bottle between us before stretching my hand to her side.
She took the bottle and I smiled at her, which she returned before drinking out of the bottle.
"Thank you," Jackie said.
"You're welcome," I said, then started the car and drove away from the house. "Are you okay?"
"No," she replied curtly.
I rolled my eyes and glanced at her before looking ahead of me.
"Don't you think you should call the cops?" I asked, trying to see how smart she was and what my next plan would be.
"It's not needed. My only concern is Lucas."
Stupid girl, I was not surprised. She was only book smart but not street smart.
"Lucas?" I asked out of pretense.
"When those boys were... Well, they said something about me rejecting Lucas and how I'm going to pay for it," she replied and I nodded.
"Pay for what?" I asked, while deep inside of me, I was not interested in this conversation.

"The thing is; the first time I met Lucas was in the boys' locker room. I was locked in there by some trouble makers and Lucas had been there. He thought I was a cheerleader doing sexual favors, nothing happened in the locker room as Josh Edgewood came in. Fast forward to later that day, I found out I lost my phone. When I called my phone, Lucas was the one who answered. He bought me a phone the following day and I rejected it. He made me come to this party, saying he'll give me my old phone. But... We kissed and I rejected his advances so I guess he made those boys make me pay for it."
I didn't believe her one bit. There was no way that this was what was going on. Maybe she was telling the truth and even if she was, she already had the attention of Lucas which ruined my plans.
When she started to cry, the annoying sounds of her sniffles and whimper filled the car. I parked on the side and hesitantly placed a hand on her shoulder. Lord knows that I can't keep up with this act for long.
"I am so sorry, Jackie. If I had known such would have happened, I should have stayed with you all night. I am so sorry for what happened. I never knew that Lucas was a piece of shit," I said in a soft voice.
Jackie sniffed and faced me with a small smile. Something was swimming in her eyes, like shock and I had a feeling she was finding my kindness, hard to believe.
"Don't cry," I said and wiped her tears. "If you still want, we can go to the cops now and file a sexual assault report and they'll arrest him tonight."
"No, let's forget it. I'm too broke to sue Lucas who comes from wealth. I just want to go home," she said so fast and I smiled.
At least, I won't have to worry about trying to pull strings with my father's connection with the law enforcers in Redside.
"You know what? Why don't we go watch a movie and have ice cream? I'm sure you still have time to spare, right?" I suggested and she smiled.
Now, I had Lucas to myself. My only hope was that Lucas didn't expose my plans.

I arrived home later that night, feeling exhausted and hungry. Hanging out with that girl left me tired. She was boring and so dumb for my liking.
I dropped my purse in the living room and went straight to the kitchen. I blinked at the sight of my mother who turned her head in my direction.
"You're back," she said.
I went to the fridge and took cold bottled water then faced her. My mother had a look on her face as if she wanted to say something and I was not ready for it. I knew her usual words which annoyed me.
"A friend told me you've been hanging out with a student at your school. She's someone who isn't in your league, according to what she said. Is this true?" She asked.
"Yes. Do you have a problem with that?"
My mother sighed. "Maddy, I hope you aren't planning on hurting that girl because of Lucas? Because I overheard you and your father talking about this same girl. When are you going to leave innocent people alone and understand that Lucas doesn't want you."
I hissed. "Mind your fucking business, mother. I don't want you preaching shit to me all because you're a fucking goody-two-shoes."
I slammed the water on the counter and made my way to the door.
"I've said this, Maddy and I'll say this again; I will never support the evil that is in you," she said.
I scoffed. "Maybe that's why dad cheats on you. I can see how much of a disinterest you are to him."
With that, I left the kitchen. Thinking of my next plan.
