The clock was ticking, 1:00 PM, it read. I gulped and it felt like sand paper grating my throat. I opened Taehyung's chat, incase I have any message. I exhaled a huge sum of half utilised air to take another column. A little "typing" appeared under the name "Taebae", my heart sank.

I placed the phone on the table as my vision became blurry. I covered my eyes with my hand to stop the water go down my cheeks. I stopped them halfway, shaking tumultuously, trying to muffle my cries with the sofa pillow.
The phone rang.

As I picked up the call, the sound of the confetti bomb made me flinch and I almost dropped my phone.

Tears were streaming down my tears, still, from the unexpected beatitude. The reality took time to sink in me. Sasha entered the room and after probably looking into my blood rimmed eyes she started consoling me while Tae was still on line

"What? Really?" Her eyes widened and her face bore nothing but content, I nodded and she hugged me while I was still sniffling.
