My father and stepmom
are returning; they'll stay
for a week..
Taehyung:
It won't be all bad.
Maybe you can clear the
grievances.
Me:
You think so?
Taehyung:
Yeah why not
Me:
I think so too this time.
I am kinda feeling positive.
Taehyung:
Hehe😁
It's 11th May today, and they will be arriving by tomorrow. Day after tomorrow, is my mother's death anniversary.
"Mom, this time I'll make dad stay here forever and maybe stepmom would find something good about me. They are family after all.. I will hold onto them, not letting them go." I mumbled looking up at the stars that were still visible in the dim daylight, the tiny pinpoints threw light that was reaching me as positive vibes as my face broke into a grin.
There is a list of things, I should be doing, starting off with cleaning the house. I stretched myself like a cat, ready to take on the dirt.
I have been cleaning for the past one and a half hour while Patrick was still dozing off.
"The sound of the vaccum cleaner woke me up, like from when did you like cleanliness?" came a sleepy voice. Patrick woke up in a disheveled form, his hair were like a lion and his eyes were only opened half as to protect him from the daylight.
"I am the daughter of a dry cleaner, of course cleanliness is in my blood." I said unable to resist my smile and Patrick too couldn't hold back his. He came up to me with still half closed eyes and ruffled my hair making me frown, "Ya! I don't wanna look like you."
He didn't cared though, as he started messing up with both of his hand that eventually turned into a cat and dog fight leaving us panting and with an again disheveled room. But we ended in laughing, everything was returning back to happiness and I never want it to fade.

We cleaned the house, baked a cake, bought some fruits and even a wind chime for positivity. The next day was all filled with eagerness for when they will come, I had been waiting for them for years. I don't hate them, I just have some unanswered questions but I won't let them bother me this time.
The door bell ringed and Patrick and I rushed towards the door to see who reaches it first, and we opened it unanimously. My dad hugged Patrick and my stepmom showered him with kisses while I stood there with ever so lasting smile. I greeted them and my dad patted my head, enough for me to feel loved. I smiled at Patrick and he returned it back.
I was reassured, this time, it gotta be different.

Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
