《The Reject (COMPLETED)》Chapter 14: Because You Exist.

Willow felt rooted to the spot, frozen, unable to move. She couldn't believe that she'd stumble upon Hunter of all people making out with his girlfriend's best friend. Even though she was aware that he wasn't devoted to their relationship, but he had never been close to another girl in the public.
Willow should feel repulsed by this despicable act of his, and surprisingly she did, normally she would never be able to hate Hunter for his deeds, but this time, she felt nothing.
A chill ran up her spine, it bought her back to reality. She wiped the tears on her face quietly, and stepped back. I'm a cat, and I walk noiselessly, like a cat, because I'm a cat. I'm a cat. A cat. A cat. Willow chanted in her head as she stepped behind as stealthily as possible. She was impressed by how her heels made no sound.
But was fate ever at her side? Because if she was a cat, then Hunter was a dog. No scratch that, Hunter was a wolf, the big bad wolf, seeing how he's nothing like the nice dog in the woods the other day. Nothing like it.
Who was she supposed to blame? Fate or Hunter? Her skill at being a cat or spy should not be questioned here.
Well, it didn't matter now, since Hunter had snapped his head over to her, as if he sniffed her there. She was pretty sure it wasn't because of her light steps, since she herself couldn't hear her steps. Like she said before, he's a dog. No more questions.
Willow's breath caught in her throat. Hunter was handsome as always. His blonde hair seemed like hays sunbathing with a coat of honey for protection against the sun, but not against the insects—cough—girls. It was even styled in such a lazy manner, when looking at it would make you feel hot all over. But what scared Willow were his eyes. His eyes which acted like the gun hole, were shooting bullets at Willow.
Willow regretted it. Coming to the party, going green when watching Rowan and Lana together and now, this. She wanted to cry again but seems like she was running out of tears. Yep, the town's crybaby was running out of tears.
"Get out." Growled Hunter, since he was the big bad wolf.
Fuck you. Was what she wanted to say. "F'course." Willow rushed out after squeaking it out. She didn't want to stay in the same room as Hunter, she wanted to get out of this house. More like the logical part of hers. Knowing Hunter, he'd probably hunt her down.

Okay, bad time for bad puns.
Before Willow could hit the carpeted floor outside the tiled floor, she was stopped by the tight grasp on her wrist. What the hell? Was Hunter changing his mind on continuing his make out session with his girlfriend's friend?
Willow snapped her head back as she was pulled back in the bathroom. She stared at Hunter, telling him to let her go through her eyes. She stared at her wrist, which would surely break if Hunter held her hand for another five minutes. She was sure that it would swell and leave his handprint in dark shades of purple, blue and green with a hint of black.
"Get the fuck out." Yelled Hunter at Peyton.
"Hunter!" Said Peyton, that is when Willow noticed, the brunette, who seemed to have her dyed her hair to strawberry blonde, it looked quiet similar to Willow's red hair, but Willow's was darker. "What are you doing?"
"Are you disrespecting me?" Okay, wow!
"Alpha," stuttered Peyton. "I got carried away. Please punish me."
Excuse moi? There's still a third, single person in the bathroom. Technically, Peyton was also single. Only Hunter here had a girlfriend.
What is she? A masochist?
"Of course I will." And here's the sadist. A perfect match. "At dusk tomorrow, you'll receive twenty lashes."
What sort of kinky shit is this? Is this even legal in this time period?
"What?" Horror painted Peyton's face. "No no no no. Please don't I-" Peyton looked like she was thinking up a way to get out of this situation.
I have a family to look after, two little kids and my old disabled parents along with my grandpa, who is bed ridden, not to forget my widowed sister.
Sadly that didn't come out of her mouth. But turns out that Peyton is not a masochist but Hunter sure is a sadist.
"Do you want me to double it? Get the fuck out."
Peyton scrambled out of the bathroom. Ah shit. Willow didn't want to be alone with Hunter. Who knows what this sadist might do to her?
Willow tried following after Peyton, but Hunter pulled her back. His hand still tightly wrapped around her Willow tugged her hand back, hoping to free herself. But doing that hurt badly, because of the bruise that was already forming. Her hand, her poor poor hand. How would she paint now? She wasn't left handed. And the hand being held by Hunter was her right hand.
Willow was pushed against the door which Hunter shut, the moment Peyton walked out.
"Alpha," Whatever joy he gets by being called Alpha, Willow wasn't going to question it. Though a voice in the back of her mind concluded that he has a fetish to being called Alpha. "Let me go."

Hunter froze. "You don't get to call me Alpha. It's Hunter." Said Hunter before lowering his head, to her neck. Her neck!
She felt ecstasy. Hunter kissed her collar bone, slowly moving to the side, peppering kissed all over her neck. Willow threw her head back subconsciously, giving Hunger easier access to her neck. Till she felt something wet on her neck. It reminded her of the day when she was in the woods when the huge dog had licked her. On the same spot. The day she had been painting up a portrait of Rowan.
Willow blinked. What was she doing?
She had always dreamt of kissing Hunter under the moonlight. His tongue in her mouth, his hand cradling her face and her hands around her neck. Every touch would send sparks all over their bodies.
But at this moment she wanted Hunter to stop. She didn't want this. She wanted to be with Rowan, but that greatly upset her because of Rowan's indifference.
"Hunter stop." Said Willow, her tone serious. "Hunter let go!"Willow pushed him away with her free hand, only for it to be held by him too. "Hunter please, stop."
"Why?" Hunter lifted his head up to look at her. He was still hunched over, holding both her hands at both sides. "Isn't this what you wanted? My attention?"
What? Willow blinked. Though it was kind of true, she did want his attention, but being asked like this, it showed how he thought so little of her. "What are you talking about?"
Hunter let out something between a scoff and chuckle. "Now that you have my attention, you're playing hard to get."
Can you get a bit more narcissistic? Willow scrunched her brows. "Let me go. You're hurting me."
Hunter let go of her wrists. Horror struck Willow. She could feel both her wrists going numb, her right wrist was unbearable to even look at. It was already starting to darken. Hunter stared at her wrist before caressing it.
Willow flinched. It didn't go unnoticed by Hunter who—jumped on it like a wolf—snapped his eyes up to hers.
"Why?" Said Hunter. "Do you want him to touch you?"
"What?"
"That boy, from the painting, the one outside the cafe."
Willow stared at him in confusion, before her eyes went wide in realisation. "That was you!"
It was Hunter's turn for his eyes to go wide. "Yeah, so? What will you do about it?" Said Hunter when he regained his composure.
"You stole my painting!"
"I did! And I burned it" Yelled Hunter. "You're not allowed to paint anyone."
"You can't tell me what to do!" Willow lost it. She was already mad at what she had seen earlier in the living room and now Hunter was prohibiting her from painting after injuring her. "Was that dog yours too?"
"Dog?" Hunter seemed taken aback, before he glared at her with his hard cold eyes, making her shiver involuntarily. "Who are you calling a dog?" Yelled Hunter, Willow was sure that every person in the house and the neighboring ones heard it even through the loud music.
"Is it not a dog? Then what is it?"
"A wolf!"
Willow inhaled sharply. Her mouth fell open in shock. "You're lying!"
"How foolish are you to mistake a wolf for a dog?"
"You were there," Willow snapped her mouth shut. "You were there, yet you didn't warn me."
"Warn you?"
"What if it would have attacked me? Eaten me?"
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, you're too scrawny for him. Being wolf food will be a blessing to you."
"So you know the preferences of wolf? What they like to eat?"
"Of course I do."
"Was the wolf yours?"
"Yes."
"Oh," Willow quieted down, she frowned. "What did I ever do to you?"
"What did you do to me?" Hunter raised his brows, he gave out a low laugh.
"Why do you hate me so much? What did I do for you to want me to die?"
"Why?" Hunter asked back. "Why? Because you've ruined my life!"
"How did I ruin your life? You seem quite happy and contend to your life to me."
"You've ruined my life," yelled Hunter. "Because you exist!"
The bathroom was silent beside the music which was blaring dowstairs through the large speakers. But the people inside the bathroom seemed not to notice it, they stared at each other without blinking, hatred and longing pooling both their eyes.
"I've ruined your life, by existing. I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna kill myself for you. But I can keep myself away from you. I've been doing that for a while, so I hope you do that too, and keep your friends away too." Willow wiped the tears away with the hand which hadn't bruised much, she hadn't noticed when she had started crying again. "I'm sorry."
Willow pulled away from the door and ducked under Hunter's arm, opening the door she stepped out.
