《Vincent & Ezra》new

It had been a few days since my father died, and Vincent and I slowly but surely had gotten back into the groove of things.

First off, we had to make sure my dad wasn't lying like I though he was about killing Alice.

But it turned out, he was telling the truth. Alice was found dead the night my father died, the coroner said it happened only a few hours before my father.

I wasn't 100% sure why David Gallo did it, and it's not like I could've asked him. My guess was he felt she was a loose end, and he despised lose ends about as much as Vincent hated touching.

As for Donnie, he was back home and feeling better. Luckily nothing was terribly wrong, just some minor bruising and a couple of stitches here and there.

I wanted so badly to go visit him, but Vincent told me he needed to rest, so talking on the phone had to do for the time being.

So now, Vincent, Barbie and I were snuggled in the theater room, watching some horror movie Vincent had to watch, even though I protested at every phase of the putting-on-the-movie process.

Vincent spoke only a few minutes into the movie, "I called the doctor today. We have an appointment tomorrow to see about IVF."

What is up with him and his love for blurting out important/horny stuff?

"You excited?" I asked, turning over to him, and he looked down at me, "I've never been more excited for anything else my whole life."

A few weeks later I was talking on the phone with Donnie, "Well turns out we have to put these shots in my ass every day for like a month, then we go back in and they fertilize my egg with Vinnie's sperm, then they implant it in me."

"Gross, Ez, I don't want to hear about Vincent's sperm and your eggs." He laughed and I continued, "You're fine you big baby." I exclaimed, "Oh, god, and Vincent has been doing this thing where he calls the fertility treatments 'fertilizer'."

"Where's my little plant at, she needs some fertilizer." Vincent laughed for the 100th time at the same joked he's made every day for 3 weeks.

It was funny the first day, not so much every one since then, "I'm hoping you want to die, because I'm actually going to murder you if you make that joke again." I deadpanned.

Vincent just smiled, "Oh, is my little cactus feeling a little prickly today?"

"Oh that's actually kind of cute," Donnie cooed.

"Yeah, yeah. Hey I gotta go, Vincent's been trying to get me off the phone for ten minutes now." I rolled my eyes.

A week later we were at the doctors office, sitting in the waiting room when the nurse called out, "Vincent Bruno."

Vincent stood to his feet, "Can I bring my wife in with me?"

"Unfortunately we do not allow significant others in the deposit room, because of bacterial cross contamination." She explained, and Vincent bent down to whispered in my ear, "I'll be thinking of you the whole time." As he pulled away with a wink.

I smiled at him and rolled my eyes as he left to give his baby making sample. A minute had passed and I got a text from Vinnie, "Send me a gift."

One thing I realized, was that Vincent loved reviving dirty pictures. Everyday at work, he'd text me a minimum of once, asking for me to 'send him a gift', which was just his code word for a picture of my boobs.

I got up from my chair and went into the bathroom, pulling up my shirt and taking off my bra, sending him a picture.

By the time I put my shirt and bra on back on, peed and washed my hands, I went back into the waiting room and saw Vincent sitting on the chair with a smug grin.

I smiled as soon as I saw him, "That was awfully quick." I laughed, as I sat next to him, "As soon as I saw my girls it was over before it even started."

They called out my name and we walked to the back of the doctors office, and stepped into the white sterile room. The nurse instructed me to remove all my clothes, and change into the gown that pretty much exposed my whole backside.

Vincent's going to be in heaven

She left the room and I took off my clothes, pulling on the gown, and Vincent smacked my ass very harshly while tying the strings in the back, I looked over my shoulder and he let out, "You love it."

I made a move to respond but we heard a knock on the door, and I decided to hold my bratty remarks to myself for the time being, "Hello! I am Dr. May and I will be doing the InVirto procedure today." She confirmed with a smile.

"So who do we have here?" She asked with a smile, pulling on the latex gloves, "I'm Ezra, and this is my husband Vincent."

"Nice to meet you both, I'm sorry I was out of office last month for your initial appointment, but I'm the lead gynecologist here." She smiled, "The paper work says we are doing InVitro today?" She confirmed, and I let out a "yes."

"So we've been taking our shot every day for four consecutive weeks?" She confirmed.

"Yes." I answered.

"Okay great! So already have the sperm sample, so we just have to do the egg retrieval and then we reinsert the fertilized egg. Sound like a plan?"

"Yes." I smiled, as Vincent held my hand.

The doctor excused herself for a moment to go get the some utensils, and I turned to look at Vincent, "I'm nervous." I declared.

He got up from his chair, standing right next to me, "I know baby, and I'm right here to support you." He decided, "I would trade places with you in a heart beat if I could." He said, rubbing his thumb over my cheek.

"I know."

Dr. May came back into the room and explains more about the procedure, and Vincent held my hand the entire time.

She does whatever it is that she has to do, before sitting back up and pulling off her gloves, telling me I can sit back up.

"Alright, everything went great!" She cheered, sitting down on the rolly stool, "So you probably won't have some symptoms of pregnancy for a least a few weeks, there may be some placebo effects, but if you feel any pain call the office as soon as possible," she nodded her head, "But as of right now, treat yourself like you are pregnant. Here is a list of foods to not eat or drink, some examples are alcohol, raw fish, caffeine, lunch meat, hotdogs, all off limits." She solidified, "You might experience some morning sickness, you might not, If you do I would go ahead and take the pregnancy test, but take one a month from today regardless, just to be sure."

She must've seen my face, "Not to worry, I have everything written down and you can always call the office if you have any questions."

"Any other questions?" She asked, and I looked over at Vincent. His face was red, and he was running a hand over the back of his head.

"Um, yeah, I think we're good? I'm good. You good?" He questioned down at me, and I laughed out a 'yes'.

I've never seen him look so nervous.

"Okay, so we'll see you back here in about a month for a check up, and a possible ultra sound."

The thought of having an ultra sound made me all giddy inside, and I looked over at Vincent to see he was smiling too.

We got back out to the car, and he looked over at me, "You might have a baby in you."

"Yeah?" I laughed, "Just now hitting you or something?"

He smiled, "I don't know, it's just, I'm so excited, but so nervous. Listening to all those instructions, I actually thought I was going to vomit." He shook his head.

I look over at him, "You're very dramatic."

"I'm dramatic?" He scoffed

"You can't say anything mean to me while I'm possibly carrying your child."

"You know what, I'll give you that." He smiled, putting the car in drive.

"Let's go eat, I'm starving." I decided.

"What do you want to eat, baby?"

"Oh let's get takeout from that one mexican resturant that I like. Maybe I'll get a margarita." I laughed, and Vincent swiveled his head over and let out, "Not funny."

We got our food togo from the Mexican restaurant, and drove home. Pulling into the driveway, I noticed a large white SUV parked in front of the house, "Who's here?" I asked Vincent, and he shrugged.

I don't think I've ever seen the man shrug before, why's he being so weird?

I mocked his shrug, and he didn't find it as funny as I did as we both got out of the car. I turned around and Vincent threw a car key at me, almost hitting me in the head, "Excuse you, I'm not your valet you idiot." I scoffed at him, and he chuckled "Shut up and look at your new car."

"My car?" I confirmed with a beaming smile taking over my face, and Vincent hummed out an 'mhm.'

I quickly opened the drivers side door, and climbed in the car while squealing, I may be acting a child but it's a new freaking car!

"Vincent I absolutely love it, and you." I clarified, knowing he hates being left out, "A Lexus is my actual dream car." I smiled brightly at him, shaking him a little bit.

"I know." He stated, "Look in the back."

I furrowed my eyes, and turned my head and see a little car seat sitting strapped in the middle of the backseat, "I had the fire department install it this morning." He confirmed, "I wanted to make sure it was in the right way."

I got out of the car, and he gave me a hug from behind, wrapping his thick arm around my neck and giving my forehead a kiss, "I'm glad you like it."

"I love it." I corrected, laying my head back on his chest, "I'm very excited to be having your baby." I whispered up at him, and he smiled back down at me, "I'm very excited you're giving me a baby, sweetheart."

We were silent for a moment, "You know, I never thought I'd be like this." He said, and my brows furrowed, "I never thought I'd actually love anyone like I love you, I figured I'd be terrible at this shit like my parents."

"Let's be better at this parenting thing than our parents, okay?" I asked, and he smiled and gave me a nod, "Already one step ahead of you."
