《Vincent & Ezra》hospital

Vinnie didn't even hesitate as he threw a punch straight out and hit Martin right in the face.
Martin stumbled over and Vinnie grabbed the collar of his shirt and spit right into his face, and threw another brutal punch that made an awful crunching sound.
Lucas and Donnie and a few other guys I didn't know came closer, clearing out the bar. I couldn't move from my place on the floor, to stunned to say anything.
Donnie came straight down to me where I was clutching my arm trying to calm me down, but it wasn't working. I needed Vinnie.
Vincent was about to throw another punch to a knocked out Martin, but Lucas spoke first, "We got him Vince, go to your wife."
He turned around to a random body guard, "Take him to the shed. I want him alive."
"Yes, sir." The man spoke, moving to drag out Martin's unconscious body.
Vincent made an immediate beeline for me, shooing away Donnie. Once Donnie let go of me, Vince noticed my red and bruised arm, checking it out making sure that I was okay.
"Are you good baby? What hurts?"
"I'm fine, I think my shoulder got pulled out of socket though." I nodded my head and Vinnie picked me up carrying me in his arms, until we got into his car and went to the hospital.
The doctor had to put my arm back in its socket, which hurt like a bitch, but even more so when the staff tried to make Vincent leave the room.
The hospital tried to to kick Vincent out because he was acting like a bull in a china shop, threatening to kill the doctor and his whole family if he hurt me. Then doctor obviously had to put my arm back into place, which definitely hurt, making Vincent yank the doctor out of his chair, yelling terrible things at him.
He doctor tried another two times to put my arm back in place, but was too nervous with Vincent stalking around the room shouting at him.
So I took matters into my own hands.
"Vincent, take a chill pill and go to the waiting room, your working both me and the doctor up, and he needs to focus."
"I'm sorry baby, I'll be quite." He answered, running a hand down my back, glaring at the doctor.
Vincent stood there silently, as the doctor tried for a fourth time, but failing.
"Vincent just go to the waiting room. Your making him nervous."

He looked down at me, then back down at the doctor and narrows his eyes, "If you fucking make one wrong move with her, I'll hunt down every single family member of yours and skin them alive making you watch."
"Vincent!" I yelled out, making him leave.
The doctor took a deep breath before speaking, "Thank you. I couldn't hardly breath. He's just so, big."
I laughed in response, before he asked, "He's your husband, I'm assuming?"
"Yeah." I laughed out, "He's a little intense."
"He didn't do this, right?" The doctor questioned lowly.
"Oh god no, some dude yanked my arm at a bar. That's why he's so worked up right now, he's just a little freaked out."
The doctor nodded his head, and tried for a 5th time, this time getting it in the right position.
He gave me some pain medicine, and instructed that I wear a sling for at least a week before discharging me as fast as he could.
The car ride home was silent. I had no energy to talk, and Vincent was so pissed I thought he would crack the steering wheel.
We pulled up to our house, and Vinnie opened my door and carried me inside, bringing me straight up to our bathroom, asking if I wanted a bath. I nodded my head, as Vinnie studied my face and neck, giving soft comforting kisses.
He sat me down on the bathroom counter lightly, and turned on the bath and spoke again, "I'm going to kill him for what he did to you little one, rest assured knowing that. First thing in the morning I will assign you body guards, this will never happen again."
I nodded my head, and Vince stepped in between my legs, pulling me into snuggle his chest and held the back of my head with his hand.
"Do you want me to get into the bathtub with you, or do you want to get in by yourself?"
"Will you get in with me?"
"Of course, my little one."
Vince placed me on my feet and got me completely undressed, only looking into my eyes. He picked me up and placed me into the bath, then undressed himself, sitting behind me. I leaned my head back into the skin where his shoulder meets his neck, and he held onto me. After a few minutes, he spoke, "I love you so much my sweetheart," He paused, "As soon as I came back Donnie said you were in the bathroom and I immediately went to get you. I heard you scream before I made it there and I saw that despicable man on you, I panicked. I'm sorry I let my anger take over when I should've went to you first."

"No, I liked seeing you defend my honor." I joked up at him with a small smile.
Vinnie flipped me around so I was facing him and straddling his lap.
He smiled back down at me, "Do you need anything?"
"I just need you to hold onto me for a minute."
"Anything you want."
We got out of the bath soon after that, and settled in our bed.
-
I woke up the next morning and Vinnie was gone. I had a feeling I knew where he was, and I didn't want to question it, so I decided to go to the bathroom and look in the mirror at my shoulder and arm. I didn't have the courage to look last night, but I needed to see it now.
My eyes trailed down from my sore neck to my arm that was hanging loose from its sling. The doctor told me I had to sleep in it, so it was on all night, before I took it off to look at the damage. It was riddled with bruises of several different colors. I reached my hand out to touch it, and the skin felt sensitive so I put the sling back on, and went downstairs to get some coffee and Tylenol.
I was sitting on the stool at the kitchen counter eating some fruit and drinking coffee, thinking about Martin's words from the night before, when I heard the front door open.
I looked through the kitchen entryway into the foyer and saw Vinnie, and two men who I recognized as our grounds security walk in. Vinnie talked to the guys for a few minutes, before dismissing them, and they went out the door.
He came into the kitchen, and plucked me from my stool and placed me on the counter, standing between my spread legs.
"Martin has been taken care of, you do not need to worry about him again."
I took a deep inhale in Vinnie's chest, he smells so good, like clean laundry.
I smiled up at him, "Thank you daddy."
He chuckled while giving me an over exaggerated eye roll, "Give me a break."
I stayed in his arms for a second, dreading our next conversation that had been on my mind since the night before. I wasn't sure how to approach the situation, so I just started from the beginning, "Martin said something last night, something that confused me."
Vince looked concerned, "What did he say?"
"He said he went to my father to confront him about our marriage. My father told Martin that him and I could still get married, and that you and Alice are going to be married."
"Well he lied, we are legally married, I handled all the paperwork." Vince stated as his brows furrowed, "So he was probably just lying."
I paused for a moment, "My dad's original plan was for you to marry Alice, he knew he could manipulate her and weasel his way into a promotion of some sort." I stated, "Something isn't adding up, I don't think Martin was lying."
I thought for a moment before continuing, "Why would he tell Martin that you and Alice are getting married though? Let me think out loud for a second, Martin finds out we are married at the gala, right?"
Vince nodded his head, following along.
"Martin is mad because my dad promised me to him, and when he confronted my father, he says that he still has a chance with me, and that Vince is going to marry Alice." I pause, "But Martin said he knew my dad was a liar, so obviously he didn't believe my fathers words."
"So Martin is lying and trying to cover his own ass?"
"No, I don't think so. I think my father is planning to get you and Alice together, and wanted Martin to join. But then he thought my father was lying, and became unhinged and tried to handle it himself."
"So you think that your dad is planning to what? Get Alice and I together somehow?"
"That's what I'm thinking. The fact is, we know for sure that my dad wants you and Alice married. So it wouldn't be crazy if he tried coax Martin into making it happen. I think it backfired on him."
Vince was silent for a second, "Do you think Alice is involved?"
"I don't think so, she's pretty easily manipulated by my dad so she may be, but she's rather harmless."
He has to be planning something, right? I mean, it doesn't make sense. Why would my father tell Martin that Alice and Vincent would be together?
