"I'm sorry I havent come to talk to you sooner darling." Caspian said smoothly, glancing at his nails.
I scrunched up my eyebrows, "why are you here?"
"I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for fighting with Harry. I knew you'd be the one."
"Be the one for what? What do you mean?" I ask exasperated.
"Patience child, the prophecy and everything will make sense to you soon."
"Why can't you just tell me now?!"
Caspian tilts his head with one of his menacing smirks on his face, "I'm sorry Odette I need to go but we'll speak again soon."
"But-"
"Goodbye Countess of Darkness." Caspian says quickly before disappearing into the shadows.
I huff out an angry breath. I guess all I could do is wait.
------
It was the next morning, and Jude came over to my table during breakfast.
"Hey I need to tell you something."
"What's up?" I sas as I take another bite out of my toast.
"I told my parents about you... They kinda wanna meet you." He said.
I almost choked on my food, "wait they know who I am?"
"Well... Kind of..."
"What do you mean kind of?"
"They know I have a girlfriend but they don't know who you are exactly." Jude says.
"Wait girlfriend?" I say, completely bewildered. We had never talked about being exclusive, I really liked Jude but we'd never even been on a date.
"Are we not dating?" Jude asks me, his face fell then.
I felt really bad, "no no I mean of course we're together but we never talked about it."
"Right. Sorry about that."
"It's fine."
"You don't want to meet them do you?" Jude questions.

"I just don't know how they'll react."
"What? That's why you don't want to meet them? Odette they're going to love you! Trust me, my parents won't care about that sort of stuff."
"if you say so." I mutter.
"Don't you trust me?"
"Yes."
"Then come with me to Cafe Eclipse on Saturday." Jude now has a smile on his face.
I gave in, "fine."
"Great! See you in a bit."
I can't believe I agreed to that.
----
Saturday arrived way to soon, I did not feel like meeting Jude's parents. We arrived at Cafe Eclipse, I thanked the gods that the cafe was warm. It was freezing outside.
"They're over there." Jude says, pointing to a couple near the back of the cafe. His mum had a round face and the same brown coloured hair Jude has. Hid Dad looked a lot like Jude, the sharp jaw, slim nose, and highish cheekbones. The only difference was his hair was grey and thinning.
"Hi Mum, Dad... This is Odette."
His parents look at me questioningly, "I've seen you before, I can't remember where..." His mum says.
"Yeah me too..." His dad adds.
I glance at Jude nervously, they must have remembered be from the claiming ceremony or something.
"Who are you claimed by?" His mum asks me.
"Guys can't we just have a nice chat over a nice cuo of coffee?" Jude interjects trying to change the subject.
"Stop it Jude this is important, Odette?"
My heart starts to beat faster, I wring my hands. "Caspian." I say.
Their faces changed to looks of shock and then anger, "really Jude? You should not be involving yourself with people like this!" His mum exclaims.
Jude looks horrified at their reaction, somehow I knew this would happen. "I told you so." I say to Jude before disappearing into the shadows.

The Novel’s Extra
Waking up, Kim Hajin finds himself in a familiar world but an unfamiliar body. A world he created himself and a story he wrote, yet never finished. He had become his novel’s extra, a filler character with no importance to the story. The only clue to escaping is to stay close to the main storyline. However, he soon finds out the world isn’t exactly identical to his creation.

The Shape of Home
The world of Alvelotyl is one of fantasy, one filled with many races, an expansive magic system exploring themes of identity, some LitRPG elements, moral ambiguity and no small amount of magical inventions similar to those in our world. Dragons with blogs showing off their hoards of treasure live alongside [Hunters] chasing Giant Toads, or [Bandits] using rifles charged with Fire Magic. The Shape of Home is a story within this world, and follows the exploits of Yuri Scalesmith, a budding Lizardfolk adventurer from a small country town with a knack for inventing, and how her life drastically changes after she’s taken from home forever following a single catastrophic event. After being taken from her previously normal life, Yuri is thrust into a world of sprawling streets, magically mutated monsters, and a crime war for territory stretching across an entire city. The Shape of Home normally updates every Tuesday and Saturday at 6PM GMT, but I'm trying out different upload times to see how people react and attract others in differing timezones. There will be two week long breaks after each story arc's Interlude. This story is also a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!

Lore and Legend - The Werewolf
Set in the world of Chronicles of Elyria, a young woman struggles to support her family after her husband's wartime injury keeps him at home. Without enough food for the coming winter, she's forced to make risky decisions in the hopes of survival.Author's note: I initially started writing this for another community but it was suggested that I should post it for this site too, so I hope you enjoy! The world it's set in is from the video game Chronicles of Elyria, which is being developed right now. You can check it out at www.ChroniclesOfElyria.com. If you do head that way, I'd appreciate it if you entered my friend code of 51E750 into your account to show the referral. If not, that's fine as well.

Dimensional Dissonance
A cataclysm. A new world with many fundimental changes, or perhaps an old world with a new face. New entities that have never before been seen. A young man named Gareth awakens unusual powers in the form of a symbiotic transdimensional entity. These powers can change the world, prevent the extinction of humanity, and perhaps even pave the way for a whole new world. However, where there is power, there will always be those who seek to abuse it. They aren't content with sharing, and will do absolutely anything to stop Gareth from becoming who he was destinied to be. Caveat: While the novel does contain the LitRPG tag, this is not the primary focus of the story. Instead, the LitRPG structure is used as a plot device within this story.

Falling Through the Cracks
After falling through a rather unexpected crack in the universe that spawned under his bed, Alex finds himself in a world filled with monsters and magic. Now instead of worrying about SATs and college applications, he only has demons, magic and rips though the very fabric of the universe to occupy his mind. Quite a bit easier in his opinion. This story has abuse, trama and brushes breifly on suicide. I`ll try to include warnings on chapters that deal heavily in any of those. I’m also a very new writer, so please let me know of any mistakes you see! Updates Mondays and Thursdays Image credit: Credit: NASA, JPL-Caltech/S.
