"What if I say yes?" Taehyung said

"W-What?" I asked him flustered

I was startled at his response.

'Does he actually like Y/N? What if he does? Oh no they can't be dating!' My thoughts were interrupted by Taehyung's voice

"Jealous?" He asked, his tone showing clear bitterness

"Ever wondered how she felt she see's you flirting with other girls?"

"Hyung, you know she never loved me and you saw the proof" I retorted

He suddenly let out a chuckle more like a sarcastic laugh.

"How stupid are you Jeon Jungkook? Even after getting so many hints you don't understand?" He spoke squinting his eyes.

I was quite confused at his sudden behavioural change and his words. Hints? What does he mean by that?

"What do you mean? Are you saying that she did not cheat on me? But the photos I have seen and showed to you guys says otherwise. You say she still has feelings for me when she is going around and sleeping with other guys? And hyung if you like her I don't care but I just don't want you suffer that's why I am warning you."

"If you still can't process and believe what I am trying to say then there is nothing I can do" He said and heaved a sigh

He started moving towards the door. He was about walk past me but stopped in his tracks right beside me. Although we were facing different directions but we could still see each other sideways. He spoke again

"Yes, I would like to say one last thing to you.

Time does not wait for anyone. If you don't take proper actions within the time given you will be the loser and once you loose to time, there will never be a chance for a rematch to win back the prize as the time will take it away until and unless any miracle happens. So be careful" He said

He walked away leaving me dumbfounded. I could not process a word he said.

I went downstairs and see him talking to the others. I was trying to connect the dots together but was absolutely bewildered. I threw a glance at Y/N and she was there with her brother. Every time we would make eye contact she would just look away or act as of she is looking somewhere else. I rolled my eyes at her actions.

Throughout the entire ceremony everytime I looked at Taehyung either he would just look at the giant clock situated on the top wall of the auditorium, nodding his head towards it or hold up his hand and tap on his wristwatch while looking at me. Both indicating time, I understand but what did he exactly mean?

The ceremony ended with me still confused.

TIME SKIP

After the ceremony, me and my family decided to go to a restaurant to celebrate my achievement. While waiting for dinner my mom and dad would just throw lame jokes making me and Baekhyun exchange weirded out looks while they laughed among themselves.

"So Y/N you have to start packing by today as your flight is tomorrow night and Baekhyun you too since your accompanying her" My Dad informed

"Don't worry we will pack before time and be ready" Baekhyun responded.

Shivers went down my spine at the thought of going abroad, being aware of the fact that I have no escape from Jungkook. He squeezed my hand to comfort me as he knew I was nervous. I smiled at him and mouthed a 'thank you'.

After we went home, I changed into something more comfortable and started packing.

As I was packing I started crying being aware of the fact that I would have to leave my friends and family behind to pursue my education. Suddenly my mother barged inside not giving me enough time to wipe my tears.

"Y/N are you do- why are you crying dear?" She said as she noticed

I walked to her and hugged her tight. Even if she does not give me enough time but she is still my mother. I hugged not responding to the questions she charged at me. She understood and started to stroke my hair to comfort me. My father and Baekhyun came into the room and saw us.

"Oh typical mom and daughter drama I see there" My Dad dad said receiving a glare from my mom

"How boring" Baekhyun added

I remained silent and released the hug from my mom and walked up to my dad to hug him.

No matter how busy they were in their work they are still my parents and no one can replace them as nobody will care for me the way they do. My mom and Baekhyun joined us too and we had a family huddle. To spent last night here we all decided to have a family night which was fun.

We prepared a party for Jungkook before he leaves. It was just us and we told Jungkook we have something important to tell him so that we can surprise him.

"Uff finally done" Jin said after finishing his cooking

We all sat down breathing heavily as we did a lot of work. We were silently sitting when Taehyung suddenly spoke.

"I gave Jungkook few hints but that idiot still could not get a single thing I said"

We all shot up our heads and even I looked at him shocked. I do remember Jungkook asking if he could talk to him privately.

"I even directly said that the pictures could be morphed but once an idiot always one"

"You did that?" Hoseok asked shocked

"Yeah" He answered shortly

"But we promised Y/N not to say anything to him and let him find out himself" Yoongi said

"Yes we did promise her not to tell him but do you think that dumbass will be able to find out without our guidance?" Taehyung challenged

Everyone went silent. Not a single of us spoke as their eyes were showing silent support to Taehyung's words. I agreed to him as well. Jungkook is the most strongest yet most vulnerable member of our group. Also when it comes to Y/N, he is still very weak.

"Also I cannot bear this situation anymore he is just hurting himself and also Y/N. I agree, he should find out himself but he just does not know how to use his brain, how do you think he will find out?"

"I know Taehyung but we promised her" I said

"DON'T YOU SEE HE IS MISERABLE?! SO IS Y/N. THEY ARE JUST FUCKING DESTRUCTING THEMSELVES!"

Taehyung screamed frustrated making everyone flinch. He was right but we were stopped by the promise we made to Y/N. Selfish might it sound but we were guilty as hell for every word we said to her and not stopping Jungkook when he was doing all abuse to her, both mentally and emotionally. This made us all feel that as elder brother figures for Jungkook, we have failed. We could not teach him nor could we teach ourselves. Y/N was right, we are indeed very selfish.

"How do you plan on guiding him and why now? He is leaving for abroad studies tomorrow" Namjoon challenged

"Jungkook is like a brother to me and Y/N is a very close friend of mine and I won't let them do this to themselves. Not on my watch. So for that if needed I will go along with him"

Everyone's eyes widened at his sudden remarks. Namjoon was about to say something but was interrupted by the door bell. It was signal that Jungkook has arrived. We all zipped our mouths.

"No one says a word to Jungkook about what has happened just now" Yoongi warned

Jin went to open the door and Jungkook gets shocked as he sees the decoration. We all go up to hug him and start celebrating the party. As we were celebrating I noticed Taehyung was not there.

I went to look for him and found him sitting all by himself in the kitchen. He was drinking water while staring out of the kitchen window.

"Hey" I went and said

He just looked at me and went back to staring at the window.

"You know you should think before your make such a big decision" I said

"I know but Jungkook is like my brother and it really frustrated me that he is suffering and I cannot do anything" Taehyung responded

"Yes! But do it but take small steps. We should not hurry" I suggested

"I know but I cannot leave Jungkook in the dark without even helping him know the truth" he said disappointed

"Helping me in knowing which truth?"

A voice spoke from behind. We turn around to see Jungkook!!

"U-uh"
