Standing in front of the convenience store nearby ㅡ you stood there, in a daze, as your mind rewinded the memories from earlier.
'Why was my heart beating fast earlier? I supposed to not have feelings for him anymore.'
You stared down at the floor ㅡ people were entering and exiting the store while you spaced off into your own dilemma of thoughts. A second later, you flickered your eyes onto a man who was eating ramen in the corner. You briefly ran your tongue on your lip, feeling the pit of your stomach grumbled in hunger.
'I don't have money though.'
You sighed sombrely before once again staring down at the floor.
"Oh! Aren't you..?"
Suddenly, someone's voiced out. You could see two pair of sleek black shoes in front of you. Your eyes slowly trailing up to the person's feet, body and face.
"Jung Hoseok!"
You shouted, as you remembered the person ㅡ also remembering the most embarrassing moment you had at his birthday party.
And the arguement between you and Jungkook.
"I'm so glad you still remember me!"
He flashed a wide grin. His face was blessed with happiness as he saw your face. But you couldn't look at his face, it was too embarrassing for you.
"What's wrong? What are you doing here anyway?"
Jung Hoseok shot questions at you. You stuttered, your tongue twisted as soon as you wanted to speak. Nervousness stirred in the bottom of your stomach as you anxiously glanced at your feet.
"I... I.. well, I- I am just standing here because it feels nice."
You lied, ending up facepalming yourself mentally.
Hoseok didn't say anything and the two of you stood there in awkward silent. You could feel Hoseok's stares penetrating you and you didn't dare to glance at him.

"You know, I can hear your stomach growling. Let me guess, you wanted to eat but have no money?"
Hoseok hit you right in the spot, bringing your head down lower than it was before. It was the truth. You were crazily hungry but have not a single penny to even buy a cup of ramen.
"Jackpot! Well, let's go. I'll treat you."
Hoseok cast another smile. You didn't managed to utter a refusal and so, the next thing you did was eating ramen with the man named Jung Hoseok.
"So your name is Eunhee? That's a really beautiful name!"
He complimented though, you were contemplating whether it was genuine or not. Nobody had ever complimented your name before so it was unusual for you.
"Hoseok.. is a nice name too."
You tried retuning back the compliment and was retorted with a broad smile.
"By the way, what are you also doing here? I mean, people like you don't usually come to convenience store."
You spoke, thinking you might had crossed the line but Hoseok continued putting up a smile.
"Well, I'm here to buy a medicine for my mother. And this place is the only place that I can think of."
Hoseok stated before slurping a mouthful of ramen. You hummed in response.
"And you, what are you doing here? Your answer from earlier wasn't valid."
Hoseok chortled a friendly laugh. You trailed along after him awkwardly ㅡ not knowing what kind of excuse you could make up with.
"I was hanging around with my friend when suddenly, we had a fight and I ran away without even hearing his explanation."
"His?"
You widened your eyes in surprised before shaking your head in denial several times.
"No! No! I meant 'her'! Yes, her!"

You covered up and stuffed your face with the ramen. Your cheeks turning bright pink as you closed your eyes ㅡ knowing that you had embarrassed yourself again.
"What did the two of you fought about?"
Hoseok asked.
"I.. I had been cold to her recently. I was so informal towards her and even went against her words. I had changed after this one incident happened."
You gazed down at your hands, fiddling with your fingers. Jungkook's face popped up in your mind as you talked.
"But it wasn't entirely my fault. It was also his fault. He kept neglecting me and being cold towards me. Then a second later, he is kind towards me then changed his attitude again. I can't understand him at all. He is complicated."
You blabbered, not even talking to Hoseok anymore. You were deep inside your subconscious as you can only think about Jungkook. Even though you were mad at him ㅡ the second he held your hand, all of the anger dissipated into thin air.
"What kind of spell did he cast on me?"
You bit your lip in frustration.
"Say..."
Hoseok voiced, you flickered your eyes at him and gasped when you saw a serious expression on his face. His smile had faltered. His brown eyes locking with yours as you drowned in them.
"The he you had mentioned .. is it Jungkook?"
