I think it's been over an hour and my tears are not dry yet. I feel so tired and worn out that I didn't think I can drive myself back home.

I lay down on the bench with my face facing the stars. Today the uncountable stars don't seem to make my heart at peace.

I lay down there on the bench, tears rolling down my eyes and I kept thinking about the possible outcomes waiting for me tomorrow.

You can sleep with him and according to him, everything will be normal.

But you know it's a lie.

File a police complaint against him, but you can't because he is powerful and can ruin you to your death.

Call my parents, shut up Savanah don't even think about that. It's better to drink that poison in your hand.

I stood up from the bench and sat straight. I keep glancing at the bottle in my hand.

Just one sip all this will be over.

No, you won't you will take down Jul with you too.

I was so into deciding my options that I felt someone grabbing the poison bottle from my hand and smashing it loudly on the ground.

I flinched.

"What the hell were you thinking you, stupid woman." He yelled.

I didn't even have the strength to look at that face, because I don't want him to look at me the way I am now. Pathetic. Helpless.

"What were you thinking running at the top of this hill and having that poison bottle in your hand because of that asshole, he didn't give you a choice so you decided to kill yourself."

"Are you fucking nuts?" Leo yelled at me. The only thing I couldn't understand was how the hell did he know about it.

I still kept my head down and my tears were running like a waterfall. My hands shake I can't do this anymore. I want to rest.

"Savanah you can't do that, you can't leave me. I swear on my life I am gonna kill that bastard for doing this to you. I will make sure he will never enter any hospital in his damm life." Leo softly murmured.

"How?" I asked shivering. Leo had a confused face but ultimately he told me.

"I think you called me or by mistake, it happened and I listened to every conversation about you and him," Leo said with a scowl on his face. I still couldn't respond.

I suddenly remember my phone in my pocket and me playing with it.

"I have already recorded the call and told Dr Nolic and Jul about it." My eyes shot up to his face, no you didn't do that.

"What have you done Leo," I said with a new wave of tears forming in my eyes. Leo came to engulf me in a hug but I stepped back.

"Leo he especially told me not to tell Dr Nolic he will do something to Jul too," I yelled and fall to my knees on the ground.

Leo came near me and sat on his knees in front of me.

"He won't do anything until I tell him to. I just want you to trust me." Leo said with a soft voice.

As if his loud voice could break me into thousands of pieces.

"Do you trust me, Savanah?" Leo asked me. For the first time in my life, anyone has ever asked me to trust them.

And I was scared to answer him because deep down I do trust Leo. I trust him with my damm life.

"Y-yes I do," I said and I laid my head on Leo's chest and rested my whole body weight on his.

I cried all my tears and made his coat drenched with it. I snaked both of my hands on his neck. And whole this time Leo held me close and kept rubbing my back.

"T- Take me home, please Leo I want to sleep," I said with my muffled voice.

Leo picked me up in his arms, I was too tired to even argue and placed me gently in the passenger seat.

He buckled the seat belt and started driving. My eyes were closed with the tiredness but sleep couldn't take me over.

I could feel Leo's eyes on me. I know he is looking at me with a sympathetic look. The feeling of Leo looking at me made my heart hurt.

I could feel the tears slipping from my eyes and I wasn't even able to wipe them away.

I slightly open my eyes to see that Leo bought me to his house, not mine. Before I could speak to him Leo came to my side and opened the car door for me.

He unbuckled the seatbelt and straight went to pick me up in bridal style.

Before I could say anything Leo glared at me. And stepped inside the lift of his penthouse.

"Please sleep," Leo said and his words made my eyes close.

Soon we both reached his penthouse and Leo took me to his bedroom. Leo carefully put me to bed and arranged the pillows for me to lie comfortably.

Leo turned to go away but I held his hand, "please don't leave me alone Leo, come to me please." I said still my eyes filled with tears.

"I will never Leave you Savanah, just going to get you some snacks," Leo said.

"I don't need anything right now please be here with me," I said with a pleading look in my eyes.

Leo's eyes flashed with happiness and he came near to me in the bed.

He moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I snuggled closer to his chest with my head on it.

Leo placed a kiss on my forehead and his grip grew tighter on my waist. The grip was tight, not tight enough to hurt me but to make me feel safe.

"Are you comfortable enough," Leo asked and I think I felt like he is sniffing my hair.

"Very," I said while smiling at him and moving a little closer to him.

I could feel all my troubles fade away with me being in his arms. His body heat made me feel complete a whole complete person.

It's been 15 minutes and I can't still sleep my tears were dried down and a painful headache had started to bang on my head.

"What was the message?" Leo asked in a low voice.

I removed one hand from his torso and slid my hand into my pocket the get my phone. I opened the text message and gave him my phone.

Leo took my phone and started reading the message his fists clenched and his jaw was tighter.

I saw a vein pop out on his neck. Leo read the message and kept my phone on the side table.

"Savanah sleep," Leo murmured while kissing my head. Before I could say anything Leo beat me to it.

"I will handle it, I will not let anyone even touch a hair on you. Now sleep." He said

Leo hummed a tune and he kept sliding his hand on my back soothing me.

Soon the darkness took over me. Only to have the last thought on my mind to end this scary dream.

I woke up with a cold around me I remembered sleeping with Leo. I looked around to see the room pitch dark.

I could hear muffled sounds coming from downstairs. I went inside the bathroom to do my business.

I saw a sticky more on the mirror written by Leo and a pink sweater and black sweatpants. On the basin.

Good morning, Savanah, I hope you slept good, please get a warm shower, change and come down for breakfast even if you don't feel hungry you will eat.

I read the note and a smile came upon my face only to get disappeared when I looked at my face and all the memories came rushing back to me.

A tear slipped my eye I looked at the watch on my wrist to see that it was noon. I have only 8 hrs to save myself.

I quickly went inside the washroom and turned on the shower. I set the water on the cold end just so it could numb everything going inside me but it didn't.

I came out of the washroom with a towel wrapped around me and decided to get dressed.

As I entered the bedroom I saw Leo sitting on the bed. He saw me, his eyes were on my right thigh which had a big nasty scar on it.

Just the thought of Leo looking at it made me want to crawl back into the hole.

We both locked our eyes and didn't say anything. Leo was the one who broke the silence. His eyes shifted from my thigh to my eyes.

"I-i am sorry, get dressed and please come down," Leo said and left without even looking at me again.

I got dressed and walked down the stairs to the living area. I could hear many familiar voices. They were talking in a very monotonous tone.

As I got down to tge the last step I saw both Elyse and Jul running to me at the same time.

Adam, Connor and Dr Nolic were also present there.

Jul was crying and so did Elyse. Jul screamed and Elyse punched me hard on the arm.

"How dare you not tell me," Jul yelled.

"You have no idea how much I want to kill you," Elyse said.

From the Corner of my eye, I saw Connor walking toward me. He stepped in front and hugged me tightly making my feet in the air.

"You will never try to pull that stunt you were about to do," Connor said and I knew what he meant.

Me and Connor were never that close but today I felt a brotherly feeling towards him. It felt good to know so many people care for you.

I saw Leo looking at me with a sad expression. I took a seat on one of the sofas. Leo gave me a cup of hot chocolate and I thanked him. He just nodded.

"Your complaint is being registered, the next date is 2 days away." Leo simply said.

"What did you do Leo?" I asked while standing up from my seat and stepping towards him.

"Everything is under control, the medical board has got all the evidence last night Dr Nolic emailed those to them," Leo said and I could feel shattered.

Omg, everything I have ever worked for is now gonna come to an end, plus I will have Jul also go down with me. Dr William and his brother both are gonna ruin me.

Dad is gonna be right all this time, I will have nowhere to go. Everything will be over, I am doomed to hell.

I can never have a normal, and happy life ever again.

I could hear Leo and others calling my name but at this time the call sounded low to my ears.

My legs became jelly and before I could know anything darkness swept me off.
