《Billionaire's Cut》Chapter 13

The dinner was going great with Leo until I ordered my food only to get back a sarcastic comment from a waitress.
"Shouldn't you get a salad?" She said with annoyance in her voice.
My eyes went wide at the audacity of people to shame other people based on their bodies and tell them what to eat not like I had enough shame to dealt with for one lifetime.
"Excuse me," Leo said with warning filled in his voice and anger flashing on his face.
The waitress gave me a smirk and winked at me, I controlled the urge not to pull her hair like you would have done it.
"No I don't think so, I will go with it, thank you," I said politely ignoring the fact that she has a bitch ass mouth.
Or maybe she had a bad day at work or family problems, give her some slack.
"How much more fat you can get." She said no no no she barked at me.
Fat, not that I feel bad, I know I have curves and I eat well and I exercise, but it's rude to body shame people.
Not when you had opened up your first three buttons of the shirt and your breasts are about to fall on our dinner table.
Gross description Savanah.
Before I could respond to her my table banged with a loud noise and the wine glass on the table jumped a little spilling little wine on the table.
"That's enough," Leo yelled while banging his fist on the table.
He abruptly stood with a tomato red face, and at this time the smirk on the face of the waitress was replaced fear.
Hearing our commotion the manager came rushing to our table, with a worried expression all over his face.
"Mr Morello any problem?" The manager said.

The waitress's eyes went wide with fear as the manager said, Mr Morello.
"I am so...... Sorry, Mr Morello, I didn't know she was your date." The waitress said while looking at me with eyes telling me to save her from the mess she created.
As I was about to correct her but Leo cut me off and started yelling at the poor girl. Now I feel sorry for her.
"And you disrespected her, this kind of behaviour is intolerable. Not only you were rude to her, but you defied the dress code and you don't have the basic human decency to talk with people." Leo said.
"I am sorry sir, she will be dealt with, I am sorry ma'am." He said.
"No..no it's fine, please don't apologise you didn't do anything wrong," I said
Leo glared at me with an angry face, okay now I am really scared of him.
Soon the waitress left our table and some other waitress came to take our orders and left. Leo was still in fuming anger.
He kinda looked like a cartoon who is angry with a red face and air blowing out of his ears and nose.
Not funny Savanah he is pissed.
"Cool down Leo," I said.
" Why did you let her talk to you like that?" Leo asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"I didn't I ignored her, and maybe she had a bad day at work. She is, not the enemy that made her talk to me rudely., just cut her some slack." I said nonchalantly.
"Ya people who have bad days don't try to seduce other people." He said.
The air on the table was a bit heavy to breathe on so I decided to change the mood.
"So how long have you been in New York?" I asked

"Born and raised, but I am Italian." He said which made me smile.
"So do you speak Italian," I asked?
"I do quite well actually, you any other language." He asked.
His curiosity didn't seem forced on like he had to be here but he was genuinely interested in talking with me.
"I do, French, Dutch and Spanish," I said ng.
"I wanted to learn Italian but I couldn't," I said.
"I can teach you." Leo offered.
Which made me blush. Why are you blushing he just offered.
Soon our food arrived and we both dug into it. The food was delicious and he told me about his family and how his parents met and are still in love to this day.
Talking about his parents Leo's eyes shine with adoration. He even told me that he used to feel gross as a child when his dad used to kiss his mom.
Which made both of us laugh so hard that my eyes started to water and Leo was about to fall from his chair, which made us laugh even more.
Talking with Leo felt oddly comfortable, we talked and laughed about the most stupid things in the world.
I didn't think in the first place Leo would be that bright person but I was wrong.
He even told me that his office is just two blocks away from my hospital and we decided to have coffee at the coffee store in front of the hospital at 11 in the morning as my surgeries are always in the early morning or afternoon.
After dinner, we talked a little bit more and decided to leave because it was half hour to midnight.
Leo didn't let me pay because it was his restaurant and his guests didn't pay according to him it's a policy
at least that's what he told me.
I never really talked to people for that long and yet enjoyed it, at the end of the dinner I must say Leo is now officially my friend.
We both walked into the parking lot to my car with the cold breeze hitting my face and a sense of happiness filled in my body.
"Thank you for the dinner, Leo, I enjoyed it," I said.
"No, thank you for accepting it, it was the best date I had," Leo said.
Shoot did he just say date, no he didn't, yes he did. I am not even dressed as a date should, I am not even wearing makeup.
It might have slipped it from his tongue he didn't mean that. Why would he have me as a date it's a friendly dinner.
Leo soon realised what he said and his eyes went wide seeing me looking at him with my mouth a little open with shock.
"I meant to say that..... That was the best day I ever had like talking to others...Other people than Adam and Connor, it was nice being with you here tonight." He said.
Emphasising more on the word day.
yes, I knew it slipped from his tongue me as his date...Hahaha. What a joke me as his date.
"Bye Leo."
"Bye Savanah text me when you reach home, I will meet you tomorrow for coffee," Leo said while opening my car's door.
"Looking forward to that," I said and Leo blushed, I think he did.
I hugged Leo and then sat in my car and went to my home back.
It was indeed the best day I ever had in a very long time.
