It's finally Monday, I can't wait to have my date with Savanah.

Well for me it's a date.

When I first asked her about the dinner, I thought she would refuse me but I guess I got lucky.

I told my parents about the dinner and they were ecstatic.

My mother even asked Savanah to accompany me to the charity ball which happens every year before Christmas.

Which is kind of exciting for me this year if she will come because all these years I have never taken anyone there with me.

And I certainly don't plan on dancing in that ball with anyone but Savanah.

I texted her telling them the venue and the time for the dinner. I wanted to call her but I didn't want her to think I am some creep.

She replied to my message within a second with a cute cupcake emoji, which made my whole day. I couldn't keep the dam smile off my face.

I only realised it when Nick pointed out it.

The last 4 days were the happiest since I still think about the time when she reacted like her life wasn't worth it.

It made me heartache. When I called her beautiful the other day her mouth flew open and her eyes got more wide.

She looked cute with her sleek bun. The hairstyle looked gorgeous on her. Well, everything does.

It's 5 in the evening right now, and exactly there are 2 hrs left to meet Savanah.

I made sure everything should be perfect for her, last night Connor and I went to my restaurant 'delight' where Savanah is gonna meet me.

We both planned how the tables are gonna be arranged, I know she likes music so the background has light Beethoven music.

Everything would be perfect but not the kind that can freak her out.

I don't wanna scare her by getting the environment overwhelmed by that.

I hate eating in public, plus I also want to know her personally without anyone interrupting us, so I thought of having a personal table at the terrace just for her.

I don't want other people to look at her, especially men Savanah has an unknown habit of making other people's heads turn at her.

I noticed it when she was singing in the cafe that day and the other day when we both were in the cafeteria, all the men were gawking at her.

Every man looked at her and it made me look sternly at each one of them.

I reached the restaurant 30 minutes before I could meet her to have last-minute checks. I texted her to let her know she could take her time, but not long otherwise I could die.

Me: take your time, I will be waiting:)

Savanah: no problem I am gonna leave in a few minutes. See you there.

Me: do text me when you reach the restaurant I will come and get you.

Savanah: no problem, thanks🧁.

Again the cupcake, Questa ragazza è la perfezione. (This girl is perfection.)

I last time checked everything, I even told the manager to send a female waitress for taking our orders.

Not wanting any other Men to have her attention other than me.

Suddenly my phone buzzed with a message. It was Savanah.

Savanah: reached.

I quickly ran into the elevator to reach the ground floor, as I reached the ground floor, my eyes fell on the angle who stood in front of the elevator door.

She wore a short burgundy dress with a low neck and full sleeves with black thigh boots.

Her hair was open except for the little part she braided, she didn't apply much makeup except for a little coat of lipgloss and a pretty smile.

"Hi, I thought I should just come till the elevator door save you a little trip." She said while smiling.

"No worries, come let's go," I said and pushed the 40 floors.

"So how was your weekend," I asked.

"It was......busy and my friends got engaged." She said while smiling.

"Well, congratulation. Adam also recently got engaged they are gonna get married in June." I said

"Ooo June wedding that is beautiful." She said.

People believe that the couple who gets married in June are blessed with happiness forever.

My parents also got married in June. Which makes my belief a little bit stronger.

"I love June weddings, Jose and Charlie are also gonna get married in June next year.." She said.

I looked at her, she was smiling while telling me about her friend's wedding. She did look happy talking about them.

We both were going to reach the terrace soon and it would be wrong to say I was a little nervous, my hands were sweating and I could hear my heart beating in my chest.

As the doors opened I heard the little gasp from the girl beside me, her fingers were covering her mouth and she took a step to get out of the elevator.

Her eyes roamed around the terrace with a shine in them her lips curved upwards which made pumping heart a bit relaxed.

"It's breathtaking." She said.

My eyes were on her, how she looked around like a child in an amusement park.

"It is," I said while still looking at her.

I kept my hand on the small of her back and led us to the table.

"I didn't know there is such a place in New York." She said while still looking at the other buildings.

"There is not, I don't like eating with so many people around so I thought we could have dinner privately," I explained.

She looked at me with surprise suddenly I regretted the decision I did.

Fuck, seriously Leo you just ruined the whole thing.

"I mean if you don't like, we can shift tables." Before I could speak further Savanah cut me off.

"Oh my god, you are an angel, Leo, I also don't like eating with a lot of people staring at me, before coming here I was freaking out." She said with a beautiful smile.

It gave me my breath back, glad that I didn't fucked up the thing for us.

"Glad to know that, we do have some things in common," I said while giving her my most charming smile.

Shut up Leo and remove that smug face before she thinks you are a pervert.

She laughed and it was music to my ears.

"I forgot to ask you, how is Vanessa." She asked.

"Mom is fine now all thanks to you," I said and she blushed.

She looks cute when she blushed.

We both started to see our menu to decide what to order.

Savanah slowly turned the pages of the menu while biting her lower lip.

I wish I was her lower lip or better, I could bite that for her.

Stop the dirty thinking Leo.

In the meantime, the waitress came to our table to ask for our orders, I saw the change in the manner of her walk and her uniform's top buttons were open.

Puttana.

"Good evening sir, I am Caroline and I will be your waitress for the evening what would you like to order for drinks." She said in her annoying chirping voice.

I noticed she didn't wish Savanah, which annoyed but maybe she slipped it while saying.

"Can I order the drinks, Savanah?" I asked as she couldn't decide plus when she is confused he bites her lips which is right now making my pants tight.

"Saviour." She said while smiling.

Her little words tend to bring a big smile to my face.

"Well we will have a bottle of D'esclans Whispering Angel Rose and we will order the food after some time. " I said not even sparing a glance at her.

She stood at our table for a minute, maybe expecting a thank-you.

"Thank you," Savanah said in her sweet voice.

She snarled at her at the left, no one behaves like this with her but she ignored her.

"So Leo what do you do." She asked.

"I am a businessman, I have a tech company and a transport corporation that I am the CEO of," I said with pride in my voice.

"That's a difficult job." She said while looking into my eyes.

Damm this girl is driving me crazy.

"Not difficult than saving people." She smiled. "So why did you become a surgeon, I mean it's a long way to become a doctor," I asked.

I wanted to know how she thinks, what does she likes to do and every little thing about her.

"I didn't want to become one I wanted to be a psychologist to understand why people behave in a certain way and the ways to cope with the damages that people do to you, but when I was in my undergrad I met Dr Nolic and he thought my fingers are surgeons like." She said while laughing.

"They are normal fingers to me," I asked, curiosity got the best of me, I was so into her story.

"According to him, my fingers were conical and I still don't know what it means and my nails were always trimmed and nail paint-free." She is sad.

"According to him, it's a surgical potential." She was still laughing.

"I didn't know surgeons are being selected by this process I could have been one." I joked.

She laughed and I noticed when she laughs the tip of the nose becomes peachy pink and her ears become red.

"You should try it... But now I felt like it was the best decision of my life, you know my first surgery was in the second week of my internship, after the operation I just had a huge adrenaline pump in my body... I felt euphoric. That made me stay in the surgery. The adventure. I am so sorry I am rambling aren't I ." she said.

"Trust me you are not, it's not every day you meet people who are so passionate about their jobs and it feels, good to know them." I meant it honestly.

I loved the way she talk I could listen to her for hours, without moving she is so full of passion. It makes me wonder what more things she holds in her.

"So where do you actually from and what about your parents," I asked noticing a sudden change in her demeanour.

She uncomfortably wiggled in her seat, her parent's topic kinda made her face scrunch up.

"Am... I am from Seattle and I have one elder brother Lucas he is a lawyer. My father has this law firm, Lawrence LLP and my mother is also a lawyer but she stopped practising she mainly do the paperwork now." She said in one full breath and I didn't mean to make her more uncomfortable so I decided to change the topic.

But before I could ask her she said.

"So Leo what do you do when you are not working." She asked, earlier thought she was not interested in me but now her asking me questions is hot.

Leo, she is being polite, not every girl wants you in her pants.

"Ummm I like to spend time with my friends, maybe clubbing, helping my mother in the hospital and reading," I said and she tucked a small strand of her behind her ear.

"Why do you do?" I immediately asked as I need to get to know her.

"I like to read, cook and sing." She said while giggIng like a proud child telling people how many new things he had learned.

"Well, you sing very well Savanah I have listened to you that day in the cafe," I said.

She murmured a small thank you while bending her head down to avoid my gaze.

The waitress came to our table with the bottle in her hand. She seductively poured into my glass but I didn't pay heed to her.

I then took the bottle from her hands and poured it into Savanah's glass.

"Thank you so much." She said.

"We are ready to order, I will have a back garlic steak with honey garlic Brussels sprouts " She took my order and ignored Savanah.

Which made my blood boil, not to create a scene I instead asked Savanah to order.

"I will have one chicken alfredo with the butter garlic bread." She said.

But next when that waitress responded nearly wanted me to kick her out of my restaurant.
