《Married To The Don》Epilogue

Tears threatened to pour out of my eyes, making them glittering against the hot summer sun. The sky was as blue as the ocean and birds were flying chirpily singing alongside the happy weather.
It was a good day today.
I was sat in the middle of a flowery meadow shaded by tall apple and orange trees, to my left was a little glistening pond filled with water lilies floating all over the warm water while all kind of fishes and little yellow ducks swam around happily.
This place was heavenly, perfect for him to call it his forever home.
My hand brushed against the slightly burning square tomb stone by my knees. I placed down a bouquet of sunflower next to his name.
" I have missed you so much. But, I am finally happy again. You don't have to worry about me anymore. " I smiled caressing his name.
A wisps brushed against my face as a hand pushed my hair out of my face, he gave me a kiss on the cheek while his arms were wrapped around my neck making me giggled softly.
" There's my little soldier. " a deep voice said from behind making me turned my head backwards to meet the owner of the voice.
My husband was standing there liked I had thought. He was standing tall as usual in his casual attire of a navy blue polo shirt and a black jeans with matching shoes finishing off by a Rolex on his wrist and a smile on his handsome face.
" What did I tell you, son? You can't kiss mommy. She is my wife. If you want to kiss someone, find your own wife. " Seth glared at the little boy playfully.
He picked our little Nicholas up from the ground unwrapping his arms off my neck in the process. I laughed at the two father and son shaking my head. After three whole years, they were still fighting over me.

Seth enjoyed torturing his sons so much, it was getting out of hands.
" Where's the twin? Elliot and Eden? " I asked looking behind my husband's back.
A years after giving birth to my first born, I was again pregnant with twin. Seth was escalated and was so happy that he gave his blessing to Victoria and Brandon.
" They're here. Somewhere. " he responded also scanning the area making me glared daggers at him.
Welcome to parenting guide 101 with Don Salvatore.
I gave him one job.
One job, to look after our three sons while I had a moment talking to my father's tomb stone. But, this idiot managed to lose our sons in matter of a second.
Sometimes I wondered how could he take care of a whole empire but couldn't take care of his own bloody sons.
" Mommy mommy. " little giggles made its way to my ears making me mentally sighed in relief.
Seth and I snapped our heads toward the source of the giggling. My eyes widened at the sight in shock before rushing to pond with a thumping heart.
Elliot was holding a duck by its head while dipping it in and out of the water, suffocating the poor thing while Eden just sat there watching his twin brother with a bored expression.
" Elliot, let the duck down now. " I said looking at my one years old unimpressed.
He pouted at me but free the duck anyway before wrapping his chubby arms around my neck making me picked him up. I sighed giving him a peck and then walked back to meet my husband.
" Your sons will give me a stroke one day. " I scolded making the four boys laughed shaking their heads.
" I told you, we should get a nanny to help you out while I'm at work. " he said.

" You know I could never trust anyone with our sons again after that day. " I sighed kissing Elliot's cheek.
What happened to Nicholas back three years ago was a permanent scar on my heart. My baby boy was so close to leaving this world when he had just been here in my arms for a couple of days.
If Seth was a second late to pull out his pistol, our Nico wouldn't be here today. And, for that miracle I forever would be protective over my boys.
" What if we hired a certified nanny, I will kidnap her whole seven ancestors, one wrong move I will kill everyone. " he said winking earn a death stare from me.
Seth held Nicholas and Eden in both of his arms smirking at me liked he had just won a bloody lottery.
Sights liked this made my heart fluttered and also built up in anger at the same time. The three boys took nothing after me, from their looks to their personality.
They all looked just liked their idiot father which sometimes scared me because I couldn't tell which one was who.
Although, Nicholas was the eldest and tallest so he made it a lot easier for me.
Looking at another bright side, my little Eden also made my life a little less miserable because he got my blue eyes unlike his twin who also got his father's grey ones.
" I think I'm done having kids. These three monsters are enough don't you think? " I asked putting Elliot down next to his grandfather.
" You said three pregnancies. Remember rule number three? " he asked looking at me while also putting Nicholas and Eden down.
Rule number three, never lie to me.
Of course, I remembered that. This rule was set when he kissed the shit out of me taking away my first kiss.
I rolled my eyes at him before sitting down beside our little toddlers. I gathered all three of them into my laps before pointing to the grey stone.
" Meet grandpa Harris. " I smiled telling them.
" Grandpa pa pa pa pa 'Even? " Nicholas asked clapping his little hands together.
Seth chuckled at his son taking a seat beside us.
" No not grandpa Steven. Grandpa Harris is your mommy's daddy. He is in heaven up there looking down at us. "
" Ello papa HarHar. " Nicholas blabbered waving his hand at the sky.
The twins saw his big brother was doing and followed suit, waving their little hands in the sky. Seth came closer to us and pulled my back to meet with his hardened chest wrapping both of his arms around us staring up at the sky.
The warmth was still there. I could still feel the sparks, the loves between us. Life was great I had a wonderful family of my own and for that I was very grateful.
It was the best feeling the whole universe. Nothing could compare to what I was feeling right now, my world had finally fell into places after watching everything fell apart crumbling to my feet for so long. We had come so far.
" I love you, husband. " I whispered smiling to myself.
" I love you, wife. " he whispered back leaning down to kiss my cheek.
My arranged marriage to the Don that once made me miserable turned out to be one of a life time experience.

Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
