《Married To The Don》T H I R T Y- T H R E E

To say that I was worried was an understatement. This Russian people kept blowing up our stocks and warehouses, we were losing hundreds of thousands every other day and this Don over here acted like he couldn't careless about his possession beside the safety of his wife.
Seth had been working from home not leaving my side for the past days and it was getting annoying because I was so used to him leaving early in the morning and came back for dinner or late at night.
I meant I was glad and happy that he made me his first priority but his men and women were out there dying and if he went bankrupt what money would he pay them with.
" Are they still messing around with us? " I sighed shutting his laptop.
I sat on the bed beside him. He took my hand into his and kissed my knuckles before shrugging.
" Really? You don't care? " I asked.
" Your safety is the only thing I care about right now. So, I need to stay with you all the time. " he said.
I took a deep breath, this was getting out of hands Seth was acting weird while his men were dying out there in order to protect us.
" Can you finally tell me the whole story? What exactly does he want from you? " I asked slightly worried.
Seth took in a sharp breath before looking at me with nothing but anger and concerns in his eyes. His big warm palm touched my cheek caressing it as gently as he could. He hand traveled down from my cheek to my neck then onto the small of my back without taking his grey orbs off my blue ones as if he was trying to remember every inches of me.
" I can't hide anymore, can I? "
Burying his head into the nape of my neck he let out a deep breath.
" Kira Petrov sixteen years old coming to visit her brother in the apartment that he shared with us. Brandon and Dmitri were out at the time I was the only one inside. I welcomed her in with a charming smile as she was after all my best friend's sister. Kira sat down on the couch not taking her eyes off of me once eyeing my every moves as I called Dmitri to come back. I should have known right there and then that she was attracted to me before it could get out of hands. "

" But, as stupid as I was I thought she was just looking out for her brother to approve of who he was hanging around. After, that one visits Kira became a usual visitor for us. She made sure to came multiple times a month but not before checking if I would be inside, a second red sign I would have thought more about. We eventually became close, she was like a sister to me but the feeling wasn't mutual. "
" Kira took our friendship as a sign that I was also attracted to her. She initiated a kiss one day catching me off guard it was then when I knew she didn't think of me as a brother like she thought of Brandon. I pulled away telling her how I felt about her and that I wasn't the person she wanted to be with. Kira took it okay or so I thought. After the incident her visits to our apartment became lesser and lesser until she stopped coming at all. " he said in a low tone as his mouth was pressed against my collarbone.
I let the information sank into my head as I rubbed his back trying to let him know that it was okay and encouraging him to go on.
" Did Dmitri know? " I asked.
" He knew. The pairs were unlike any brother and sister. They were the best of friends telling each other everything about their lives. They held no secrets between them. " he answered.
" How did he take it? " I asked again.
" He was fine and always knew what I thought of his sister but didn't have a heart to actually tell her himself. Although he was thankful that I didn't lead her on even more. " he explained.
" Okay. Continue. " I said.
" High school days were almost over when Dmitri told Brandon and I that he was getting married to Sasha, Kira's one and only best friend he couldn't wait anymore. The wedding was like the one in every fairytales. Kira were of course the maid of honor looking like an angel in her flower covered dress. I went with date of my own which turned to be the biggest mistake I had made. We greeted each other with a smile. I was relief and glad that she could finally move on with her life. And, again I was wrong. "

" Kira was not attracted to me. She was deeply and madly in love. It was I who found her laying in her very own pool of blood. The white dress was no longer beautiful but covered in the red substance. She wrote a letter confessing that she was selfish and couldn't live watching me with someone else that wasn't her so she had to take away her life and told me to not be sorry because if was her who chose to do it and lived my life happily for her. "
" Dmitri was shattered and destroyed beyond repair. His own flesh and blood took away her own life on his wedding day. He beat me that day and I let him. Because if I were him I would have done worse. And, Sasha was no different from her husband. She had lost her only best friend. "
" The same day that was supposed to be the happiest day for him, Dmitri walked back into the reception with his wife in his arms, tears flowing down his face as he held on to her lifeless body. The new addition to their family Sasha Petrov couldn't live in a world without her best friend. "
" And, we were each other's biggest enemy ever since. He thought I was a murderer while I thought he was being stupid. "
" I am the blame for the deaths of his only sister and his wife. And, now he's back to take his revenge. " Seth said holding on to me for dear life.
" H-he wants me dead. A wife for a wife. " I stuttered as fear creeped through my vein.
My eyes became blank my jaw slightly dropped as I held on to Seth for some kind of support and safety for the first time ever I felt fear after starting a life in the mafia. Fear for the life my child who wasn't even born yet.
" We will be fine. I will always protect you and keep you safe always remember that. Trust me in this we will be fine I have everything under control. " Seth whispered kissing my temples.
" Do you really have everything under control? Brandon is there with them. They clearly have the upper hand if you haven't noticed. " I sighed.
" Mhm. " he hummed kissing my head once against.
This man! I wondered what was going on in his thick skull he was acting like everything was fine all rainbow and sunshine while hell was breaking loose.
" Seriously Seth, do you even have a plan? " I asked shaking my head at his carelessness.
" Yes. To keep you safe. " he grinned kissing both of my cheeks forgetting all about the talk we just had.
With that I smacked the back of head with a glare on my face. He wasn't taking this war that was about to happen seriously at all.
My theory was that he was too arrogant to think that they were nothing against him or this dude was dumb in the head.
" You know right now you're not worth dying for. Do you think we should get a divorce? So, your sad mourning friend won't kill me? " I asked making him glared daggers at me.
" I have a plan. You don't have to be scared of those bastards. " he sighed in frustration.
" What plan? " I asked.
" Kill them all before they get us. " he said.
What an amazing plan. I could see it all work out perfectly because right now they were getting to us and here we were doing absolutely nothing. My husband was a bloody genius.
" Go annoys Victoria. I need to work. That's all you have to know for now. And, eat lunch feed my child will you? " he said kissing me one last time before pulling away.
He was a dumb fuck Don and an ass of a husband. I swore if I died because of his stupid plan I would haunt him down to hell with me.

The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
