《Married To The Don》T H I R T Y- O N E

" Come in. " Seth's grumpy voice boomed from his office as I knocked on the door.
I wondered what crawled up my husband's ass and died in it.
I had arrived at the warehouse over haft an hour ago, spending my times talking to the men and women at the main room. I was getting tired of meeting new people as everyone kept coming up to talk me so I excused myself to Seth's office, while Victoria decided to stay behind to let me have some privacy with Seth or whatever.
So, here I was. My hand touched the cold door knob twisting and turning it before opening the door very slowly.
" Who's there? What the hell do you want? " Seth shouted obviously getting annoyed at the sound.
My heels clicked against the hard floor making clinking sound as I walked into the office after closing the door. Seth was at his desk as usual typing furiously on his computer while reading on the pile of paperworks on his left. His eyes were so focused on his work and still didn't look up to see who was there.
" I swear to god if you don't state the reason why you're here or who the hell you are in three seconds, I will put a fucking bullet in your skull. " he growled making me flinched slightly.
Damn. I felt bad for whoever worked for this asshole.
" I would like to see you try, Don Salvatore. " I cocked an eyebrow at him while wrapping both on my arms around my chest.
His head snapped up so fast at the sound of my voice, I swore I even heard a little crack. He rosed up from his seat and hurried toward me in one stride. Damn. Men and their stupid long legs.
" What did I tell you? " he asked pulling me into his embrace.
" Didn't I tell you to stay home? " he whispered nuzzling his nose against the nape of my neck.
" I don't want to stay home. " I groaned as his kisses sent shivers down my spine.
" At least you're here. " Seth said pulling back.
I mentally cursed as the warmth of his embrace faded away from my body.

" You don't look pregnant wearing this. I can swear I saw a little bump this morning when you're wearing your nightwear. " he said furrowing his eyebrow while staring at me up and down.
" Does it come and go as it please? " he asked cocking an eyebrow at me clearly confused. What a dumbass.
" Look I loosened this big belt around my waist if I tightened it a little, boom pregnant belly. " I rolled my eyes before walking toward his desk and took a seat on his chair.
" I like seeing you with your bump. " he said shaking his head at the thought of me hiding my pregnancy.
I didn't like hiding it either no one in the family liked it. But, we had to for the sake of the baby and my safety. God knew how much I wanted to shout to the world that I was having my first child how much I wanted to tell my sister that she was going to be an aunt.
" Why are you here anyway? " Seth asked pulling me up from his seat.
He sat himself down on the big chair liked it was his throne while I stared at him in shocked for a hot seconds before relaxed again when he pulled me into his laps. Smart move.
" I hate Kaitlyn. " I said glaring into spaces at the mention of her name.
" Straight to the point I see. Are you jealous? " he chuckled.
" No. Why would I be jealous over something that is already mine? " I smirked.
" Then do enlighten me with the reason of your hatred toward my assassin and friend. " he said holding up some of his paperworks to read.
" She called me a slut. " I said rolling my eyes.
" I will talk to her. " he said in a stern voice.
" And, I don't trust her. " I shrugged.
Seth seemed to be in a very deep thought for a moment after that. He had his hand rested underneath his chin as he rested his elbow on his desk. I sighed in annoyance knowing he really trusted her but what could I say they even grew up together for god sake.

" You know there are only few people we can trust at the moment. I can't risk you with another guard. " he sighed.
" But, you trust Kaitlyn? " I asked.
" Yes, I do. " he answered instantly.
" Why? "
It was because she was his friend and her father was a loyal man to the Salvatore's blah blah blah I knew this story liked the back of my hand now. I had been listening to this story for at least twenty times already, from Seth to Brandon then Gianna and even Steven.
" Never mind. Don't say why I know the bloody story. " I scoffed.
" Then you can trust her. " he said.
" No. And you shouldn't either. " I said wrapping both of my arms around my chest.
Seth turned his head toward me eyeing the cleavage that was showing for a bit before meeting my eyes. He unwrapped my arms and took it toward his neck making them both circling around it before resting his own arms around my waist.
He then stared into my eyes as if he was trying to see through my soul to see what was going on in my head.
" State your reason. " he said.
And, you sir needed to stop staring at me like that. I mentally cursed.
" First of all, she hates my guts if you haven't noticed what if she decides one day to kill me because my presence annoyed her as much as hers annoyed me, I married her ex lover for god sake. "
" Second, the girl spent six or something years in Russian, spying on the Russian. " I stated.
" Six years, Seth. Six years, what could have changed in six years? " I asked.
I watched as his expression changed for a spilt of second before he covered it up again. Damn. He needed to teach me how to do that.
" What are you trying to say? " he asked.
" Do you really believe her story? You really believed that she, one of your best assassin out there couldn't find any trace of your enemies after spending six year in their country? That's bullshits. " I rolled my eyes remembering the story she had told my husband and everyone else in the family.
It was somewhere around the time she had just arrived at the house, we were having a family dinner when Steven asked about her mission in Russian.
And, according to Kaitlyn their base was unknown and impossible to find their hiding were even better. After spending six years there with only one job which was to spy on them, she didn't even come across one of the Russian.
My in laws sighed in frustration when she finished her story while Victoria and I throw glances at each other watching her told her story in disbelief. I swore a three years old could make up a better story.
" I will look into it. I don't want you to worry about a thing, okay? " he said placing a kiss on my forehead.
I nodded grateful that he didn't take my words and opinions for granted.
He then went back to work while I sat on his laps ordering the furniture for our new house online in a comfortable silence enjoying one another's embrace.
Someone footsteps echoed from the outside as he or she was running their way inside the office. I glanced up at Seth as if to ask him if he knew who was out there, but he was already staring at me as I reached his grey orbs.
" Our men who were supposed to deliver the goods just alerted us. The stock is missing, Don. " Dean came panting into the room.
Seth snapped his gaze from mine toward my bodyguard and the orbs that used to be softened when looked at me were replaced with rage as his hands balled into fists. I could see vein popping out of his neck. He looked murderous.
" Seth calmed down. " I said patting his chest softly.
Dean had held his head low staring at the ground not daring to spare another glance at his boss nor uttered another word.
" Tell Brandon to take care of it as soon as possible. " Seth grunted his voice filled with anger.
" He's nowhere to be found, Don. " Dean said finally looking up at Seth again.
