《Madam Mafia》-Stupid

Rose pov
We reach the house after a drive of silence.
I'm mad I guess.
Not to the point of ignoring him, but if we talk now my mom might become the subject of the conversation and that would just annoy me more.
I realized from my trip home that there was only one place I could live at and be kinda happy at the same time.
And it's here, with Ryder.
Which is kinda sad, considering I've only known him for a couple weeks.
I guess he grew on me.
He's still annoying as fuck and he needs to learn to keep his hands off me.
But other than that he's fine and better than my mom so...
Yeah, it's cool.
I glance over at him, seeing his jaw clenched and his obvious anger.
I sigh.
"Ryder, let's go."
"It's my birthday today." He says suddenly.
Oh...shit.
I start to feel a little regret.
Damn I really have the worst timing, don't I?
I laugh awkwardly.
"Ha... sorry, happy birthday though, I think we-"
"Don't ever run away from me again."
His face remains stoic throughout his sentence.
He's still mad.
...I guess I can care today it's his birthday.
"The boys set up a surprise party for me at the hideout. I came back to get you and you were gone."
Ouch, he's going to rub this one in, isn't he?
"I won't, run away again I mean," I respond.
"I won't let you ever again."
Of course.
A few guys come and take my suitcase, and we're off.
We remain in silence, which I'm perfectly fine with.
Why's he so bothered? I barely know him and he barely knows me. I'm just some girl he picked up for some reason and won't let leave.

He doesn't know what he's dealing with. He has no clue.
At this point, I've warned him and I've tried to help him escape me, but he's the one that doesn't want to let go.
And honestly, I'm kinda grateful for that...
-*-
After the hella, sucky party, Ryder and I drive back home.
I scowl at him, glaring at him through my eyelashes, slouching in the seat, with my arms crossed against my chest."
"Get that look off your face, you know why I-" I cut him off.
"I know, you followed me around for the last 4 hours just cause I-"
"Because you ran away!" He shouts pulling over, slamming his fists into the steering wheel.
I frown.
"You left me, and I'm not letting you go again, I told you I wouldn't, I don't care if you're mad, I don't care because you didn't care when you decided to go!" His body trembles as his gaze snaps to mine.
"Ryder, I don't get it. We didn't know each other a month ago. You just want me as your gang's slave and you're mad cause I'm playing hard to get and you don't like it. I left because I didn't want to be used, not by you." I shout, clenching my fists so hard I might be bleeding.
Silence fills the car.
"That's not it. I really like being around you, Rose. You make me feel... I don't even know how to explain it, but I know I want you with me, and when you left this morning I felt my heart drop in my chest, and I had to get you back. Besides being Queen is like being the leader except for you're female. I promise you it would be the complete opposite of what you have in mind."

I turn away from him, looking back out my window.
"Let's just go home," I say, sighing out.
The quiet fills the air again yet the car doesn't start.
I exhale loudly, turning my head back to face him.
"Come on, Ryde-"
I'm cut off by a warm sensation pressing against my lips.
Fuckin-
He really wants to die, doesn't he?
His tongue pries its way into my mouth, as his arm comes around my back and pulls me closer to him.
I struggle against him but...
His kiss feels... soft somehow, like his lips are melting onto mine, and yet intense at the same time.
It's kinda alright.
...
NOPE.
What did I even just think?
Ryder's lips part from mine and he stares into my eyes intensely.
"That's how I feel about you."
I stare at him.
He turns and finally starts the car.
The only thought that repeats in my mind is...
Did I like that?
And if I did, well I wouldn't cause that would be stupid as fuck, and I'm not stupid at all..., right?
Oh, God.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.

A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.

The Mob in His Novel
Through his hard work, Arthur Bennett has achieved what he thought was the pinnacle of life: wealth, prestige, and power. However, achieving those came with a price; he lost everything and everyone he loved. One day, out of boredom, he mindlessly wrote a fantasy novel filled with numerous clichés and superfluous conflicts. However, he never imagined he would be reincarnated into that world after his death. No, not as the protagonist, not even as an important supporting character, but instead, he became a mob in his novel. Will Arthur use his abilities and knowledge as the author to make the right decisions and make it through the end, despite the fact that there was a greater, more powerful threat that he was unaware of even as the author? ==========-I will also be posting it on Webnovel, Scribblehub, and Tapas (TBA) under the same name
