《The Alpha Broke the Omega》Luna

There was a collective gasp. It sounds dramatic, but how else would anybody react in this kind of situation? Heck even I was confused. I glanced to Ian, but found that he wasn't where he was supposed to be.

My eyes widen and as I start to scan the whole area. That idiot! Where is he?!

He knows he can't interfere with the matches or else he'll risk his position as the Alpha.

'Ian, you idiot, where are you?!' I asked through a mind link.

"Relax, I'm here." someone said behind me. I sighed in relief, good. He didn't do anything stupid.

"Don't tell you were going to try and--"

"That doesn't matter now." he said as he motioned at the scene before us.

Ian stood beside me as we both stared at Hannah.

She looked different, even the aura around her was different. Her eyes were clear silver and they seemed to glow. From here, I could see a strand of her hair turning silver. What was happening? I've never seen a werewolf with such clear silver eyes.

All her wounds had been healed as if she had never been touched. Even from here I could feel the strength, power and authority that emanated from her. My wolf was surfacing but I held him back.

Her aura was that strong.

I glanced to the audience. They were struggling to keep their heads up. As Hannah tightens her hold around Sierra's neck, I could smell Sierra's blood in the air.

Hannah's fighting style had changed so drastically. She was light on her feet and strong with her attacks. It had only taken her less than a few minutes to beat Sierra to a pulp— and Sierra was our best female warrior.

She said she was Chári, the warrior from the myths. Is she crazy? What happened to her while she was unconscious? Where is her power coming from? Has she finally gone crazy?

"I—" Sierra struggled to say as she coughed up her own blood, "I... surrender."

My eyes widen even more.

Sierra... surrendered.

The Sierra Northon... surrendered?

Did I hear it right?

Silence hung in the air. No one knew if it was a mistake in the Delta's part, but no, everyone heard it. The Delta, our best female warrior, had lost.

Sierra moved her neck, although she struggled, and showed her neck.

Hannah's lips curled to a smile, almost too sadistic for my taste. Where was Hannah? Our Hannah.

Hannah hesitated for a while, as if deciding whether to let Sierra go or kill her on the spot, but finally let her grip go. Elliot appeared from the other side of the battle grounds where Sierra entered in from the beginning of the match and Elliot carried her out of the arena.

Sierra collapsed, unconscious.

Hannah didn't look like she cared, she just stood there waiting for her next opponent.

Abigail Truman entered the scene. Now, this girl was crazy obsessed with Ian. But I had no idea she was that crazy to challenge Hannah up.

She didn't look like she was too concerned with happened with Sierra, she still looked confident. "Look, I don't know what trick you're using, but I'm not lik--" before Abigail could even finish talking, Hannah had already launched to her.

"You talk too much." Hannah snarled and high-kicked her by her stomach. Effectively, it sent the girl a few meters up the air and dropping real quick to the ground. I cringed at the sound. Damn, that must've hurt.

Abigail curled up to her side, grabbing her stomach in pain and screamed in pain. Hannah walked slowly towards her and kicked her down. It was pretty violent to say the least.

Although after a while, Abigail seemed to recover and got away from Hannah. She already looked so tired and she hasn't been in the field for more than five minutes.

"Y-you're cheating! Y-you can't be--" Abigail started lashing out, but as she spoke, her words turned to mumbles, her words incoherent. "You can't win! You're only an Omega! Ian cannot be with you." I finally understood what she was saying.

I turned to Ian who was beside me who honestly looked like he was internally cringing.

"This is embarrassing." the Alpha said which caused me to laugh.

"You attract the crazies." I teased, causing him to glare at me.

Hannah attacked once again and managed to deliver a kick real close to Abigail's neck. If only she had moved in a slightly different direction, Hannah would've hit her neck and Abigail would've been a goner.

Abigail dropped to the ground, the past damages had been too much for her.

"I'm not done with you. Do you think I will accept your words go by just like that? You have disrespected me by challenging me, you have made a grave mistake by trying to claim my mate as yours, you continue to look down on me and refuse to submit when your wolf is begging you to submit."

"So what?! You're worthless, you're nothin--" Hannah slapped her face so hard everyone could hear the painful sound.

"I will give you one last chance. Submit, as nature wills you, or you will regret it."

Abigail was crazy as I've mentioned. Instead of submitting, she looked up to Hannah, her eyes defiant and wild. "You're not fit to be my Luna."

Props to her, but rip lol.

I was expecting Hannah to go crazy and beat her, but no. Instead, Hannah's eyes merely hardened and her lips opened ever so slightly. "You've made your choice. I, Hannah, the moon goddess' warrior, banish you--" my eyes widened and even the crowd were astonished. Her every word carried a weight of authority that everyone recognized, I'm sure everyone felt Abigail slowly being stripped of her status as a pack member.

But then someone appeared on the field. Dressed with a long dress, one of the elders had intervened. "Pardon me, but you do not have the right to banish a pack member when you are not even a pack member yourself." the elder said.

Hannah glared at her, she was definitely offended.

"And that's supposed to change anything?" Hannah questioned sassily.

Wow, you go, sis.

"We only ask that you be lenient t—"

"Lenient? To a girl who does not know to surrender to her Luna? Tell me, is this how you train your pack? To go against those who will lead them?" Hannah pressed on. The elder didn't know how to answer.

Hannah looked towards Abigail but the poor girl was already out of it. By the rules, she was already defeated.

I turned to Ian. He was clenching and unclenching his fists. I could see his eye colour changing from blue to gold. His wolf must've been trying to surface too.

"The girl has already lost." the elder said as she bent down and scooped Abigail up.

"Wait. I'm not done with her yet." Hannah said as she approached Abigail. The elder was about to move away, but Hannah glared at her. "Don't even think about running away." Hannah warned as she stood in front of Abigail.

I had no idea what she was going to do, but she held up two fingers and pointed it in Abigail's chest area.

"I am only letting you a small pain of what Sierra felt because you couldn't even put up a fight." Hannah whispered, but everyone heard it.

A small light shone as she talked. When she was done, she turned away and started walking back to the centre of the field, waiting for her next opponent.

Anna Reyes came out from the other side like Sierra and Abigail had.

Hannah was so ready to fight, but as Anna arrived in front of Hannah, she knelt in one knee. Moving her hair out of the way, she showed her neck.

"I surrender."

This delighted Hannah. She only smiled.

"You're a smart one."

"Forgive me for even daring to go against you." Anna said as she stood up and went away.

The same thing happened with Corinne Browns and Lydia Simons. They didn't even fight. They just got out, knelt and surrendered and submitted.

The crowd was perplexed, no one could believe what they were witnessing. The pack link was in chaos. Everyone was asking what happened as if they hadn't seen the events unfold in front of their very own eyes.

No one knew if they should clap or not.

Everyone had the same questions.

What just happened?

Why did she say that she was Chári?

Is she the Luna now?

Ian started walking towards where Hannah was. I didn't notice it before, but this time he had a smile on his face.

He was happy and that was enough for me to know.

"Panselinos, your Luna stands before you now. Does anybody still want to defy her?" he asks.

No one answered for a while, but then everyone started standing up. Everyone in the arena put their hand on their left chest.

"Long live, Luna Hannah! Long live, Luna Hannah!" they said before all kneeling down in one knee even if it was hard to do in the seating spaces.

A victorious smile crept its way in my lips.

Luna Hannah.
